Everything went fantastic
Description of Work: Andrew was referred to me by a co-worker. I needed to replace two interior doors in the hot water heater in my rental home. Andrew you came out and gave a very detailed and accurate estimate along with the amount of time and when he could start the job. Everything was delivered as promised and we will be using Andrew from now on.

It started off well and the things that Andrew completed look fine. The problem is he didn't finish. My husband and I have left numerous messages and he won't return our call to come out and finish. The tile grout doesn't all match, a couple of bumpy walls, door molding looks awful, chipped tiles and grout in the floor and lots of problem spots in the painting. We have been very patient and understanding throughout this process with Andrew and can't understand why he stopped returning our calls and won't finish. We thought he was a man of his word, but BEWARE!!!! Don't let this happen to you.
Description of Work: Andrew was contracted to completely remodel our bathroom. This included new walls, ceiling, tile floor, tub, tub surround, vanity and counter tops, lighting, plumbing, and paint.

THE FOLLOWING IS A TIMELINE OF THIS PROJECT: 3/13/08 - ESTIMATE FOR BATHROOM SUBMITTED, WHICH STIPULATED ALL MATERIALS EXCEPT CULTURED MARBLE WILL BE SUPPLIED BY CUSTOMER. 3/17/08 - CONTRACT SIGNED BY MEMBER AND RECEIVED CHECK IN THE AMOUNT OF $2908.38 AS DOWN PAYMENT. FOUR DAYS LATER MY BANK INFORMED ME THE CHECK WAS FRAUDULENT. 4/02/08 - CULTURED MARBLE WAS ORDERED, WITH DELAY CAUSED BY WAIT FOR SUBSEQUENT CHECK TO CLEAR. 4/09/08 - WORK COMMENCED WITH DEMOLITION. 4/19/08 - WORK COMPLETED ON SCHEDULE (VERBAL AGREEMENT). 4/21/08 - IN TELEPHONE CONVERSATION, MEMBER EXPRESSED GREAT SATISFACTION AND PUT CHECK FOR BALANCE OF CONTRACTED PRICE IN MAIL. 5/20/08 - ABSOLUTE PERFECTION WAS SHUT DOWN FOR VACATION AND REOPENED ON 5/29/08. ANYONE CALLING THE BUSINESS TELEPHONE RECEIVED A CLEAR MESSAGE OF THIS SCHEDULE. WHEN I RETURNED FROM VACATION I CALLED MEMBER ON 5/28/08 AND 6/02/08, AND WE DISCUSSED SEVERAL ISSUES SHE HAD CONCERNING THE PROJECT. THE PROBLEMS WERE FIXED ON 6/04/08, AND CUSTOMER SIGNED OFF ON THE COMPLETION. THE PROBLEMS WERE AS FOLLOWS: 1 - THE GROUT COLOR WAS A PROBLEM BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER WAS ADVISED NOT TO USE THE BATHROOM FOR 48 HOURS TO ALLOW THE GROUT TO CURE. ON 4/20/08, ONE DAY AFTER COMPLETION, THERE WAS A 40TH BIRTHDAY PARTY AT THE RESIDENCE AND THE BATHROOM WAS HEAVILY USED. SINCE THE GROUT HAD NOT CURED, IT WAS BADLY STAINED BY WATER AND SOAP RESIDUE. THE SOILED AREAS WERE TOUCHED UP WITH SOME REMAINING GROUT, AND ALTHOUGH NOT OUR RESPONSIBILITY, THE PROBLEM WAS CORRECTED. 2 - THERE WAS ABOUT ONE INCH OF THE DOOR CASING THAT HAD TO BE RECAULKED. 3 - THE CUSTOMER DID NOT PURCHASE A NEW PLUMBING KIT WITH THE BATHTUB, AND THE OLD PIPING STARTED TO LEAK. CUSTOMER HAD BEEN TOLD THAT NEW PIPING WAS NECESSARY TO PREVENT THIS. ALTHOUGH NOT OUR RESPONSIBILITY, THE PROBLEM WAS CORRECTED. 4 - THE BUMP IN THE WALL WAS FROM CUSTOMER ORDERED SHEET ROCK THAT WAS DAMAGED DURING DELIVERY, AND WE DID THE BEST WE COULD WITH IT. 5 - THE ESCUTCHEON PLATE WAS NEVER PURCHASED BY CUSTOMER, WAS NOT INSTALLED. CUSTOMER PURCHASED IT AFTER COMPLETION OF JOB AND IT WAS INSTALLED ON 6/04/08. WHEN MY BANK INFORMED ME ABOUT THE FRAUDULENT CHECK, IT WAS AGAINST MY BETTER JUDGMENT TO CONTINUE WORKING WITH THE MEMBER. I HAD TO RESCHEDULE SEVERAL OTHER PROJECTS BECAUSE OF THE DELAY. AFTER SPEAKING TO HER ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND EXPRESSING MY CONCERNS, SHE ASSURED ME IT WOULD NOT HAPPEN AGAIN. I GAVE HERE THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT, BUT EXPLAINED I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE NEW CHECK TO CLEAR BEFORE I STARTED WORK. THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PROJECT THERE WERE DELAYS BECAUSE THE NECESSARY MATERIALS WERE NOT AT THE JOB SITE. SINCE THE CUSTOMER KNEW I WAS ON VACATION FROM MY VOICE MAIL AND LETTER, I DO NOT FEEL THIS IS A VALID COMPLAINT. THE PROBLEMS, EXCEPT FOR THE ONE INCH OF CAULKING OF THE DOOR CASING, WERE NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. THEY WERE THE MEMBER'S RESPONSIBILITY, AND CAUSED BY HER INATTENTION TO DETAILS.

Called company about repairing squeaks in hardwood floor. They responded to call the same day, and came to repair the squeaks within 4 days (one day delayed because of rain). Explained in detail the estimate preparation, and what they would do to fix the problems. Well pleased with service, and how things were cleaned up when finished.

My calls were returned quickly and the estimate was accurate and reasonable. The day of the job, Andy called ahead of time to make sure we were home. He showed up on time with the right materials for the work. The job was done fast and quietly. We have a two year old and he was able to take a nap during the job. He cleaned up the entire area and left the room in much better shape. Andy did a professional job.
Description of Work: Andy replaced my leaking toilet as well as the flange that was old and cracked. He also repaired and cleaned the trim behind the toilet where water and moisture left damage.

I must say This is the easiest man to work with. He always cleans up after himself everyday, also he shows up when he says he will be there. He really gave me the attention I needed to have the project go so smoothly. The bathroom will be getting showed off thanks to Andrew. Besides that he also took care of a bunch of odds and ends around the house.
Description of Work: I had a estimate from Absolute Perfection to replace my bathroom vanity, tile, mirror, paint, countertop and faucet. I also had some other odds and ends I wanted to have done. Andrew showed up 15 mins prior to our scheduled time for the estimate. That is when I knew this was going to be an outstanding experience.
