The problem began with the report, which I read on my iPad. The report stated there was debris and wood in the crawl space, and this property is on a slab. Negotiations for the purchase were not successful. When the bill for the termite inspection came, I questioned it with the inspection service which set up the termite inspection. He could not understand the report either. When I had time to call the company and ask about their erroneous report, I was informed that it was my job to call the company right away if something was not right. She then asked what device I used to read the report. When I said the iPad, she said the report won't be correct on an iPad. I asked why they didn't warn their customers of this problem, and she assured me they always told the customer about the problem when the customer called about the erroneous report. I asked why they didn't note the problem on the original report, and was informed that this was impossible because it was a pre printed form. The entire conversation was full of excuses, or else blaming and insulting me. Never once was any responsibility taken or apologies made. This company made it clear to me that they were not concerned about avoiding misunderstandings or customer service. That part I understand all too well.

Both workers introduced themselves, thoroughly explained what they were looking for, provided great estimate information for possible termite service plan for townhome building as prevention. While our townhome building did not decided to get the preventive plan, the price was very reasonable and they really explained the products they use.

They are courteous, prompt, and take care of our issues.

They were excellent and were very polite. They came back to do a second treatment for free.

People from Crown Pest Control Company are very responsive when we call. They even come out extra times with no extra charge. However, the mosquito spraying service done was not found to be very effective for our yard. They are a small company but they are reliable. For some reason they were having a hard time getting our credit card set up for automatic payment. That’s why I thought that they are probably a small company and not all that sophisticated. However, they eventually got all that straightened out. I would recommend them. We would continue to use them in the future.

They were terrible. They even came into our house and couldn't get rid of the bugs. It was a brand new house and nobody had ever lived in it. There was no excuse for it. They didn't return our calls. The man who did the pest control lived half a mile from me and there was no reason he couldn't have stopped by our house. We started using them in October 2007 and used them until June 2008. We gave them a good chance. We had digger wasps that had laid eggs in the lawn and I got on the Internet and on my first hit I found what the problem was. I explained this to Crown about what they needed to do and they had no clue. They treated and it had no effect. The owner called after we stopped using them to find out what they could have done better. They did good at first but when I had specific pests that I wanted them to get rid of, they couldn?t do it. I believe they were good for general pest control. They were good for ants. Their responsiveness was poor, especially the people in the office and they didn't call to let us know they were coming.

They are very good and seem to take care of the bugs. They also check if there is any problem inside the house. They are very thorough and professional. They always inform me before coming and it is not necessary to be there when they come. Their price is also fair.

No return call to either message...

Dale was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were pleased following the first visit and had not seen any pests, until two days before Crown arrived for their follow up visit. Dale took his time and was very thorough. The office called to schedule my follow up visit, so I didn't have to worry about remembering when to schedule. The office receptionist was friendly and worked with my schedule.

They did a basic first time termite treatment as well, and we were very pleased.

Service representative walked around the perimeters of the house and inside basement. His inspection took less than 15 minutes. Obviously he found no termite activity. However, he did not look at the deck, did not check around the basement doors, did not check around the basement joists that are near the outside surface, etc.

The estimate was done when promised, and the workers were very professional. Their cost was lower than most. I would recommend them and use them again.

I CALLED THE COMPANY AND LEFT A MESSAGE THAT I NEEDED A TERMITE INSPECTION. I HADN'T HAD ONE IN A NUMBER OF YEARS. THEY CALLED BACK TO LEAVE ME A MESSAGE THAT THEY WOULD BE HERE THE NEXT DAY UNLESS I DIDN'T CALL THEM TO CONFIRM. I CALLED AND LEFT A MESSAGE THAT THE NEXT DAY WOULD BE FINE. THEY ARRIVED AT THE APPOINTMENT TIME. THE INSPECTION WAS THOROUGH. THEY FOUND NO CURRENT EVIDENCE OF TERMITES.

THEY WERE PROMPT, COURTEOUS, AND THOROUGH. AFTER A WEEK I HAD MORE ANTS, THEY CAME OUT AND RESPRAYED. I THINK THESE LATTER ANTS SHOWED UP FROM HATCHING EGGS. I SIGNED UP FOR THEIR ONGOING QUARTERLY SERVICE.

THE COMPANY OWNER AND HIS EMPLOYEE WERE ON TIME, VERY COURTEOUS, AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY PERFORMED AN EXCELLENT JOB.

KEPT THEIR APPOINTMENT AS PROMISED, EXPLAINED THE WORK THEY WOULD DO, ASKED IF I HAD ANY QUESTIONS. VERY POLITE AND THOROUGH. FOUND A BUG IN MY PANTRY, BUT I DON'T THINK HE SPRAYED THERE. CALLED THEM BACK.

COMPANY RETURNED PHONE CALLS AND GAVE US AN ESTIMATE OVER THE PHONE.

THE EMPLOYEE WAS ON TIME. HE WAS VERY POLITE AND REASONABLE.

I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE REPRESENTATIVE'S KNOWLEDGE AND FORTHRIGHTNESS.

THEY WERE GREAT. THIS IS A FATHER AND SON OPERATION. THEY WERE VERY DETAILED ABOUT WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND HOW THEY WOULD SOLVE IT. THEY WERE VERY GOOD ABOUT CLEANING UP AND BEING CAREFUL. THEIR ESTIMATE WAS ABOUT HALF OF WHAT ANOTHER POPULAR COMPANY'S BID WAS.

I HAD ANOTHER COMPANY COME OUT AND TREAT FOR ANTS, BECAUSE CROWN WAS NOT VERY THOROUGH WITH NOT ONLY THE ANTS, BUT THE TERMITES TOO. THE SERVICEMAN FROM THE OTHER COMPANY CONFIRMED WE STILL HAD TERMITES.

DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO, IN SUGGESTED AMOUNT OF TIME, AND FOR THE QUOTED PRICE. WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR SERVICE. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND TOOK EXTRA CARE WITH ALL THE LANDSCAPING AND FLOWERBEDS. MADE SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO KEEP MOISTURE AND TERMITE ATTRACTING DEBRIS AWAY FROM THE HOUSE.

COMPANY REP WAS RUNNING LATE, BUT CALLED AHEAD OF TIME. I WAS PLEASED WITH EFFORTS TO LOCATE THE AREAS WHERE THERE WERE WASPS. HE ALSO NOTICED A SMALL AREA IN GARAGE WHERE TERMITES MIGHT BE AND GAVE ME ADVICE ON HOW TO WORK WITH THE COMPANY (NOT CROWN) WHO HAD BEEN DOING THE TERMITE INSPECTIONS FOR SEVERAL YEARS. VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PROFESSIONAL.

THEY DIDN'T RETURN MY CALL UNTIL TUESDAY EVENING AROUND 7PM AFTER I LEFT A SECOND MESSAGE. I TOLD HIM WE WERE AT DINNER TO CALL ME IN THE MORNING. HE WASN'T VERY POLITE. HE DID CALL ME WEDNESDAY MORNING. I TOLD HIM WE NEEDED A RENTAL PROPERTY TREATED AS WELL AS MY PRIMARY RESIDENCE. HE SAID HE WOULD CALL ME BACK LATER WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON FOR THE DETAILS. IT IS NOW FRIDAY, NO WORD AND I'M CALLING SOMEONE ELSE. THE COUPON ISN'T WORTH THE HASSLE.

I TRUST THESE PEOPLE, IT'S A FAMILY BUSINESS, AND THEY'RE NOT OUT TO TAKE ME TO THE CLEANERS.
