Concrete Craft of Charlotte

I used AADC for an extensive decorative concrete project (pool deck) at my house last spring (after finding them on Angie's List), and mentioned to Patrick (the owner) my desire to have my 3 car garage Epoxy Coated at some point in the future. He looked it over and quoted me a price that was consistant with pricing I'd received from others a year or so before. When I finally decided to have the work done earlier this month I called AADC and Patrick scheduled the work for a week or so later. His crew showed up precisely on time and finished exactly as he promised. The garage floor looks fantastic and my wife and I are very satisfied with the end result. Obviously I can't speak for it's durability at this point but the installation was done very professionally. My dealings with patrick and AADC to this point have been excellent and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for this type of work. It's refreshing to find a contractor who's more concerned with his customer's satisfaction than pure dollars! Thanks Patrick and thanks Angie's List!!

Patrick and his team were wonderful to work with. Patrick was very responsive from the time I first contacted him to give us a quote. He quoted the job on site so we did not have to wait to find out the cost of the job. He was flexible with scheduling. The young gentlemen who came out and performed the work were extremely professional and helpful, answering our questions along the way and making sure to give us exactly what we wanted. They were very careful to listen to our wishes and not insert their own opinion. On day 1 they came out pressure-washed the existing patio and spread the expoxy system over the patio and created the lines/design for the flagstone pattern. On day 2 they cleaned up the excess expoxy that was pushed up as a result of making the flagstone desing and used pigment dye to color certain "stones" of the pattern according to the colors/design we wanted. Then they applid the base color over the whole patio, making for a cohesive look. Last, they applied a sealant. It is beautiful and we couldn't be happier. They completely transformed our old, boring patio into a beautiful outdoor space. As a side note, Patrick's quote came in at about half of what another company quoted me, so he does great work for what we feel was a very reasonable price.

Work went better than expected. Company removed the old concrete the first day; poured and stamped the concrete the second day; cleaned and sealed the stamped portion two days later. Patrick Godfrey was extremely easy to work with and very helpful in guiding us to a pattern and color that goes well with the color of our house and its brick foundation. On the first day of work his foreman approached me about alleviating the worst problem we had with the old drive. The entire drive slopes from one side and also has a hump at the foot of the drive. Patrick's crew took about 4 inches off the worst part of the hump and leveled the front part of the drive, which has eliminated the possibility of scraping the bumper if you enter the drive too fast. They also altered the slope in front of the garage to make sure that all the water flows to the drain immediately beside the drive. The combination of the stamped concrete with the regular concrete looks great and the work as improved the functionality too.

They were very good. I did check Angie's List and they were probably the cheapest. I was happy with their services. They cleaned up after themselves.

Patrick is a very professional individual and the work was done to our satisfaction. In the first meeting, he came to our house and gave us a quote. Upon learning from us that we found him via Angie's List, he voluntarily offered discount for being Angie's List member. Of the three quotes we got, Patrick's quote was lowest. On the day of the work, they arrived on time and completed the work in 2 days as schedule. When epoxy coating was dry on day 3, we felt prickly/pocking floor. Turns out our slab has fiber reinforcement which caused the issue. Upon contacting Patrick, he agreed to re-sand and re-coat. Again, his team arrived on time and completed the work without any fuss. The floors look great now. We insisted to pay for the 2nd sanding/coating but Patrick refused to accept any additional payment. His primary goal is customer satisfaction. We are very happy with the way everything went and we highly recommend Patrick and his team. Patrick's professional is definitely commendable.

Patrick, Jake and team were outstanding from start to finish. We have started looking at different options in April 2013. Jake has been out to our house a number of times at our request. My wife and I finally decided to replace our concrete slab with something that we will enjoy for years. The All American Decorative Concrete crew came out yesterday at 7:00 AM and started ripping out the old slab. By 10:00 AM they had a concrete truck at the base of our driveway. They had the concrete poured, stamped and the area cleaned later on that afternoon. Jake was out early this morning to clean off the access powder, stain the border and clear coat the patio. We are so impressed with their professionalism and would recommend them to everyone. Very honest, professional, punctual and detail oriented crew.

From a customer service perspective they seem like they would be good to go with. They were just a little bit higher than somebody else. We just have not made a decision yet.

Patrick originally came to my house for a pool deck re-surfacing quote. While he was at the house, I asked him for information regarding an epoxy floor for our two-car garage. He provided both quotes and we moved forward with the garage floor. His crew showed up on time and we could not be happier with the results. We will use Patrick for the pool deck when it is time to complete. Great job all around. I would not hesitate to recommend All American Decorative Concrete to anyone.

I expected the initial preparation of the floor to be done with a diamond sander (which they said would be used during my initial phone conversation... which I researched to understand is the best way to prepare the floor) but was inoperable during my installation. I was not informed of this until the floor was already prepped. Whether or not that made a difference , only time will tell. Though I will tell you that Patrick and his staff were diligent, professional and very pleasant to work with. There was one snafu in that, one of the bays of the floor didn't take well and Patrick put another coat of epoxy paint in that area, which according to him corrected the problem, but I would have been happier if he put another coat of polyurethane on it as well (which he suggested against). Overall I'm very pleased with the outcome and would highly recommend their services. The floor looks great and I'm confident that if there are any future problems, they will rectify them to my satisfaction...not that I anticipate that in any way. If you choose this company you will be pleased with their prices and professionalism.

I called All American Decorative Concrete sometime in March to get an estimate for some work we wanted to have done. I spoke with Patrick - the owner who was very professional and courteous. We wanted to add color and sealant to the pool deck area and wanted to do something decorative to the floor of our covered patio. A few days later Jake - who was very sweet, friendly and extremely patient, came out to give us the estimate. He showed me a few different ideas for the pool deck and patio flooring. We decided to go with an opaque stain for the pool deck and the overlay flagstone look for our patio. The work started April 17th and took about 3 days. The pool deck stain went very well and looks beautiful. The overlay flagstone project hit a bit of a snag due to the pre-existing relief seams from when the concrete was originally poured. Since the seams were already there, the staff had to follow the same procedure when smoothing out the overlay to prevent any future cracking. This however left me with a look I was not especially pleased with, so I contacted Patrick (the owner) right away. He promptly returned my call and addressed my concerns. We agreed on a solution that was accommodating as well as aesthetically pleasing. He showed up personally with Jake to redo the patio flooring on Saturday AND Sunday in order to complete the work. I LOVE how it all turned out! I am very pleased & impressed with their professionalism and the level of customer service they provided. All American Concrete stands behind their workmanship and clearly prides themselves on the quality of that workmanship.

We had a new 10x24 patio poured in the backyard. Jake came out the next day after calling and helped us pick a design and colors, gave a great price and while we were scheduled weeks away, due to how busy it is this time of year, he promised he would call if they had any cancelations they could work us into. True to his word he called with a cancelation and was able to get us done now instead of June. They crew should up on time, did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. The patio came out beautifully the colors and pattern is great and the price was terrific!! Will absolutely use them again!

Very professional! Extremely good service and quality work. Clean, organized and efficient use of time and materials. Job was done quickly and well without mess. Instructions were given for upkeep of floor. Extremely courteous and attentive service from beginning to end, and then some... We were having some painting done on walls in the house as well. Some dust from painters prep work had settled on the new flooring leaving a milky white layer on it. We called the owner of American Decorative Concrete and he came out right away and told us how we could resolve the problem yet he did it himself at no charge! We would recommend this company to anyone looking for this type of flooring!

I like to tinker on cars and projects in the garage all year long so I wish I would have done this long ago, now the garage is completely finished. Due to a recent motorcycle accident at the time, I wasn't able to lift a thing and felt guilty about not being able to help. Mr. Godfrey's crew knowing this showed up an hour early just to carry out the work benches, cabinets, and everything else that had accumulated over the years. They didn't let the extra work phase them and did it all with a smile. They sanded, cleaned up, then painted the floor, now the first part of the project was done. Next day Mr. Godfrey showed up to put the epoxy finish on the floor. This took about an hour but most of that hour he spent on his hands and knees making sure every square inch was coated. About 6 weeks later a very small section or epoxy peeled back. I called Mr. Godfrey and he was ready to come out and fix it right then. I wasn't able to be there to let him in, but after meeting him and his crew I trusted him enough to give him my garage code so he could get in and make the repair to that small section. No doubt I'd have him do another floor for me. I wish more people I hire to do things around the house that I can't do would be as professional and have the attitude the he and his entire crew displayed.

Patrick was very responsive throughout the entire process. He came out on a Saturday morning to see the site and recommended a new patio and design. After agreeing on a design, he and his crew came out on the scheduled date and met the expected timeline. I was not home during the process but he kept in touch via text message. He asked about every step along the way to ensure the patio met our expectations. The finished product exceeded our excectations and I have recommended his business to several friends.

I first saw Patrick and his company at the Southern Spring show in Charlotte. I visited several decorative concrete firms at the show and called another based on my Angie's List information. I eventually received bids from three different companies including AADC and chose Patrick and AADC even though his bid was in the middle of the three. He completed a detailed quotation and included options for me and my wife to choose from in several price categories. He thoroughly explained each option and gave us his personal recommendations based on the size and scope of our job. Surprisingly Patrick didn't suggest the most expensive option although that's the one my wife and I ended up choosing. He promised us a project start date about two weeks out and called me the morning before to remind me that he and his crew would be there. They were on time and completed the work 1/2 day earlier than projected and it is beautiful! He gave me the 250.00 Angie's List discount on top of his original price which then made his overall project price equal to the lowest bid I had. It's only been a week since the project was completed so I can't speak to the durability of the work at this point but it is stunning to look at and came out exactly as Patrick had described it to us. He stayed in touch with me at all stages of the project and didn't pressure me in the least. I've worked with many contractors in many trades over the years,( I've built four of my own homes), and work with Electrical Contractors daily. Patrick and his team are among the best I've seen and I plan on using him later in the year to refinish my garage floor! Not only would I recommend him, I've already done so to two of my friends!

Provided and estimate on-site the same day I contacted them. The team that returned a week later to perform the service was very professional and hard working. The process took two days. I was able to move items into the garage on the third day and park my car after five days. Great experience. No concerns about recommending them to my neighbors. Looks fantastic. Lots of positive comments from visitors.

I can summarize my experience with Patrick Godfrey in two words "Satisfaction Guaranteed.? He under promised and over delivered. This is the second epoxy floor I had installed in the last three years. I also inspected four AADC epoxy floor installations in the Charlotte area. Patrick Godfrey did an excellent job in every installation. All the owners I visited are very satisfied with his work. If you want a beautiful garage floor, performed by a very professional organization, at a very reasonable price, American Decorative Concrete is the best choice. You will not be disappointed.

The price they gave me was fair. He was a very nice guy. I think he was very courteous, friendly, and honest. I would definitely recommend him to anybody.

They appeared to be very professional. they seamed to know a lot about the concrete business. I actually went with a company called CC's Designer Concrete. The reason being was not only was CC's original estimate cheaper than the other company; but once he came out and actually measured off he came down on his original estimate, which made it even more affordable.

Very professional and did exactly what they said they would do. Always prompt and on time. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Got two estimates and chose All American because of price and reviews from Angie's List. It took 3 days total to complete work, which consisted of just a few hours a day. Cleaned floor which didn't make a huge mess like I was expecting. They always arrived at the time they said they would and did an excellent job. Paid when the job was completed. Floor looks great and we are extremely happy with the end result. Definitely would use this company again and recommend it to our friends.

From the initial quote through completion and resolution of a minor issue, our interactions with Patrick and his team were outstanding! He exhibited the utmost professionalism, delivering a high quality product and reasonable price. He provided a written quote on the spot at the time of the estimate. His team showed up on time when scheduled and worked hard throughout the project. His pricing approach was upfront and they didn't add a bunch of ala carte pricing after the base quote. The base quote didn't vary by stamp type, color, texture, etc.....the price was the price and included the extras other's charged extra for! Patrick showed integrity and a dedication to customer service throughout the project. The patio experienced a minor chipping issue along one joint about a month after completion of the patio. Patrick showed no hesitation and exhibited complete dedication to addressing the issue timely and worked to address the issue to deliver a quality end result (installed an overlay) which actually looked even better than it did when first complete. To clarify, the project looked outstanding upon initial completion, so the overlay was definitely a step above. I would not hesitate to use Patrick again in the future or refer his company to anybody! It was very refreshing to deal with an honest company that showed complete dedication to customer service while delivering a quality end result!
