Concrete Craft of Charlotte

Alex and his crew of TJ, Quinlan and Charles came out to put in a sidewalk for my Mother-In-Law's apartment at our house and extend our driveway. Our house is on a little bit of a hill so they worked with us and came up with a plan to keep the slope of the sidewalk to a minimum for my Mother-In-Law. They did a fantastic job and cleaned up great after they were done. In looking at their work after they were done, I couldn't ask for anymore and it shows why it is best to hire a professional group like Concrete Craft.

They did a complete rip out of the old concrete driveway and were very neat and cleaned everything up. The next day the poured the colored concrete and stamped it. The third day they came back to remove all the forms, put in expansion joints, clean up and seal it. The driveway came out absolutely gorgeous. So many people have stopped to ask about it. Amazing work, would definitely use them again.

The people are very nice to deal with from the office to the last worker to leave. Professional, polite, knowledgeable Punctuality was a bit of an issue. The crew didn't show up the first day but the supervisor did...led to delays overall. Their pressure washer broke down and they had to use ours for a while A bit of miscalculation on the bill, but they listened, checked it out, and made the appropriate correction in a very congenial manner . We would gladly use them again, Communication was great, when there was an issued , they listened, and it was addressed in an open friendly manner. Jake at the site and Lindsay in the office made it easy.

Able was excellent and extremely knowledgable . He and and his team were very professional and completed the project on time. It was also a pleasure working with Jake.

Concrete Craft team did a great job from estimate to completion of the project. We had a slight miscommunication about the exact slope we wanted on the project, but they were very responsive and found an easy solution that worked perfectly for both of us. Even came back an extra time for one small thing to make sure we were 100% satisfied with the job. Was very happy with them and their work from start to finish.

They didn't even show up for the appointment to quote the job.

The salesman was easy to work with and helped us select the best solution for our situation.. The crew that came to do the job asked a lot of questions about what we were looking for and expecting of the final product. They worked to make as close as possible of a color match to the brick on our columns on the front porch and a match to our patio pavers on the back porch. They showed up when they were supposed to and stayed until the job was completed to a point that they could leave it to dry. They answered dozens of questions we had about it as the project progressed and were very patient with our concerns and questions.

The first time around, the job was done poorly. Also, the salesperson was argumentative and refused to accept responsibility for misquoting something regarding method of payment. However, the company owner interceded and agreed to re-do the job, which turned out perfect on the second try. I believe that this is a good company that stands behind its work and I would not only use them again, but refer them to others. The price was fair, and comparable to other quotes I received.

They were prompt courteous and very professional. Listened and responded to our concerns. We called about a couple of places that when dry looked like they needed a little more coverage. They came back promptly and took care of it. We are frankly delighted with the finished product.

Contractor never retuned my calls not request through your site.

Patrick and his crew where a joy to work with. We will definitely use this company again. We wanted a wood grain stamped concrete pad in our backyard. My husband and I were so happy with how it turned out; this is the first project we've had done at our first home and it truly made us fall in love with our home even more. Thank you Patrick and crew for helping us. We paid for services after they were rendered; I appreciated this because it meant that Patrick would ensure our full satisfaction with the finished product. Start to finish this project lasted a total of about 2 days.

The salesman came out right on schedule. Gave us the estimate we were looking for and it was in the ballpark for what we were expecting. These were the only folks we called because of the rave reviews here on Angie's List. See my photos of this process here: [*** Link removed ***] The guys called ahead and arrived on time. Two fellows did the first days work. They cleaned the floor and put down a layer of concrete with some kind of glue to help it adhere to the pad below. Immediately they smoothed that concrete and then left to let it dry. After an hour or so they came back and stamped the texture using some mats and they left again to let it dry some more When they returned they "cut" the flagstone shapes and then left for the day The second day only one returned. He recut the same flagstone shapes and then colored random "stones" with 3 different colors. When they dried, he colored over all the stones with a diluted paint so that the colored stones showed through When all the paint dried, he put two coats of sealer on the finished floor. We let it dry overnight before using. Be aware, the smell from the sealer is very strong! These guys were quiet and respectful of us and our property. The finished product is amazing! I recommend them highly.

Earlier in the month I gave the company an "F" because they did not respond to my request for an estimate that I left on the website. Apparently they never got my info , some sort of glitch in the system, and Patrick was very apologetic and asked that I call him personally for an appointment. I did, and he came out and was very professional and took time on a chilly morning to explain in detail the process and materials they use. Although I haven't decided when to proceed I would most definitely upgrade his company to an "A" based on my interaction with him so far.

As of today the 28th, not good. No contact with company.

AADC was prompt and did the work as described. A couple of times they were confused as to what to do. Good thing I was there to correct the direction of the project. Be aware that the concrete color is, at best, an approximation of what you will get. Take time to understand exactly what will be done and how it will look. I have not seen AADC after the work was done.

They did a good job, were prompt, clean, and very professional to deal with. The patio looks good but there are a few issues with the overlay. Our patio is 3 sections, one of them is very uneven and lumpy, the second section is better but still a little too wavy, the 3rd section is very good. We had them come out and look at it and they said it was because the material was still very wet at the beginning and dried to a more workable consistency by the 3rd section and basically there wasn't much they could do about it. I've also notices a few small chips in the first section lately. I was pretty disappointed that there wasn't' anything they could really do about it. Fortunately this section is where we have a fire table and chairs so we don't walk on much of it. All in all, i really like the improved look of the concrete slab and I would do it again, but would discuss with the workers to make sure the consistency is right do begin the project.

Patrick came to the house and discussed the options and process. Installers were professional and efficient. Price was reasonable and results are fantastic. Looks like flagstone. Two of my neighbors saw the work and had Patrick do their patios. I will have him back to do another job on the front porch.

The guys at All American Decorative Concrete were great! The initial appointment was extremely easy and low pressure. The crew that removed the old patio and poured the new one were excellent. I was amazed at how quickly they were able to remove the old patio, prep the ground, and pour the new one. I would recommend them to anyone!

We scheduled the initial meeting to discuss cost and design, the rep Patrick came out and was very thorough, easy to talk to, and walked us through the process. He had photos of other installations to show us what we could expect. The day of the install a small crew came out with a stand-behind bob-cat, and they quickly had the area leveled and ready for crushed stone. I was called out and asked what kind of angle I was expecting. My back yard slopes down pretty harsh, and if they poured without an additional drop of stone, the patio would also be at a very steep slope. I was offered to have more stone added to reduce the angle, and given the approximate cost. The stone was delivered, tamped and ready the forms were put out and ready for concrete. A truck came, and the crew moved the concrete from the front to my backyard with the bob-cat and wheel barrows - and in a short time, I had a concrete slab. Then the magic happened - I thought this was the coolest thing every. Using a few rubber mats that had patterns of stone tiles - one the crew laid them on top of the drying concrete, another tamped it down, and the other sprinkled a colorant dust as they moved the mats along. The next day they came out, sealed it, and in 72-hours I had a large, beautiful stamped concrete patio. After it was complete, Patrick came out for the final bill, and even with the additional stone, it ended up being less than the original estimate. We love our patio, and every neighbor that has seen it has said that it has turned out so good, and we still say we are amazed at how well it looks. We need our garage epoxy repainted and are calling All American Decorative Concrete for that.

Absolutely the best. I would have this guy pour concrete throughout my whole backyard. Patrick was very accommodating and the process, from start to finish, went very smooth. His workers were all great also. I can't say enough about the finished product. It looks great.

Very pleased with the outcome of the concrete overlay! We previously hired them (May 2014) to put down a concrete sealer (colored) however it didn't work out with our patio. It kept bubbling and eventually peeling. Patrick had tried to correct it, but it had something to do with our concrete. Patrick stands behind his work and they recently came back out and put down a concrete overlay. VERY PLEASED with the results! Looks like a completely different patio. Very impressed and very satisfied with everything. We are even hiring him to come back out and do our front porch since we love the new look. Would definitely recommend All American Decorative Concrete!

I met with Patrick early Saturday morning and we went over ideas for the patio and he even presented a book of his work to show prior jobs for me to get some ideas from. Very friendly and professional and provided the quote the same day. He even followed up to see if we had any questions. Ultimately we went with another company because we decided to go with a paver patio versus the stamped concrete.

I found them at one of home and garden shows. Their services were excellent. The staff and workers were very good and they were very nice. They left the area all nice and cleaned up. Everything was perfect. It was a two day process so they were there probably 8 hours one day and I don't know how long they were there the second day, because we had them let themselves out. But I think they were there most of the second day. I thought the price was very good. The quality of work was excellent. They were good all the way around.

They did a fantastic job. I would recommend them highly to anybody. I had guys who came out that were very very professional and they did an excellent job. I can't tell you how good they were. We found him on your site. They got here at 9 in the morning and they left 9 at night. They stuck with the job all day long. They had different layers that they had to put on and they could have rushed it, but they didn't. They are one of the best groups that we ever had come out to our home.
