They were good. They were honest and did what they said they were going to do.

Excellent. They were prompt, thoughtful, and kept things clean as much as possible while they worked. They communicated well with us throughout the process and were always timely and polite. After they had done their contracted work, we had some problems with smoke because the damper wasn't functioning well--that was not on the list of items they were supposed to fix. We called them and they came back promptly to work on it. When it still didn't work, they surprised us by installing a new one for us free of charge! They rank at the top of service provider experiences we've ever had. We have enjoyed our fireplace ever since with no problems.

This company provides outstanding courteous service. I had them in for two different jobs and both times they went the extra mile to make sure the job was accomplished and that I was satisfied with the work. I will use them in the future for similar projects.

The technician was courteous and helpful. I asked if I should replace my flue and he recommended that we try to fix it (which he did for the service visit cost) rather than spend money to put in a part that would do roughly the same job. He gave me some tips on proper flue operation and was overall very helpful.

They are always very prompt. When I set a date and say it needs to be done, they tell me when they will come. They are very efficient, clean up after themselves, and are very dependable. The price is reasonable too.

In the past I have had good experiences with them, but recently my experience has not been good. They have a place on their website where I can request an appointment or contact and I did that probably three weeks ago, but I have not heard a word from them. I'll just find another chimney service.

Tech was efficient and friendly. He answered all my question satisfactorily. He provided me with recommendations. The company later emailed me a quote for suggested modifications. All good!

I thought they did some unnecessary work and it ended up being expensive. He was nice, personable, and put a cap on the chimney which we needed, but the inside of our chimney was spotless and was still cleaned.

I thought, considering the duration, the price was a bit high, but since I don't need to do it more than every few years AND I was very comfortable with the information provided, I also thought it was a good investment. They also came out on a weekend, which I appreciated much.

They do a thorough job. We had used them years ago and they still had the specific info regarding our chimney so they could tell us exactly what the progression of the damage has been. This is a very professional company and I would use them again.

That was wonderful. It was a very good experience. The price was reasonable. He explained to us why we were getting so much water running off the house from the gutters. As stated above, they found several issues with our chimney - we decided to have them repair some and have them return in the future to repair the others. We were very pleased with their work, their professionalism, and their understanding when we decided to wait to repair the larger of the issues they found. I am very late reviewing A Clean Sweep, not because of their work but due to my own fault - we absolutely recommend this company to anyone who needs an evaluation of the chimney!

I called the company to make an appointment and spoke with a very courteous lady who set up an appointment for about 3 weeks later. I asked that they call in the event they had a cancelation. Just a few days later I received a call saying a technician was in my area and could come that day due to a cancelation. He came on time and spent a couple hours cleaning my chimney, then went on the roof to replace the chimney cap that had come off. When he finished, he showed me a picture of the top of the chimney and said it had some cracks in the mortar. He said they could repair it at a later date if I wanted and gave me a price quote. There was no pressure to do the additional work. In fact, I expected him to tell me the inside of the chimney needed repairs, since the chimney was 20 years old and had never been inspected. Instead, he reported the chimney interior was in great shape! He was very informative and did a great job cleaning up everything. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend A Clean Sweep!

We have been using A Clean Sweep for over 20 years and always received great service. This time we scheduled online but had to wait a few weeks for an appointment because they are very busy at this time of year. The day of the appointment, the technician called to notify that he was running a few minutes late, then showed up exactly when he said he would. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He explained every step of the inspection and cleaning, and did a very thorough job. He explained every observation that he made during the inspection and certified that our fireplace and flue were in good condition and safe to continue operating.

I have missing morter which will make it unsafe to burn wood and I can't use until repaired. I Can't afford to repair it right now, so I don't know how actual repair will be or the cost. I was given a ball park figure off around $1,500 to $2,000, not an actual written estimate.

The service man was so nice I thought he was the owner! We just bought the house and the chimney smelled horrible. It hadn't been cleaned in years but used regularly. The service man was very, very nice. He was on time, explained what he was doing, and kept everything very clean. He inspected everything well. I would definitely use them again.

While repairing the damper, Mike diagnosed and explained some issues with how our fireplace and chimney function and with our gas logs--not to drum up more business, but to let me know how I can resolve some problems on my own. Final cost? Just the base price for a service call. A Clean Sweep is now on my short list of trusted service providers.

My husband met with them initially when they came out to do the cleaning and inspection. He said they showed up on time, kept the area clean and did a thorough job. We knew there would be problems since the house is from the 1960?s and it would need to be repaired. They emailed me a detailed quote with everything outlined and sent multiple pictures with explanations and pointing out the issues. I got on the schedule with them, but of course this time of year, it was going to be in late November. So I asked them to call me if they had anything open sooner since I work from home. Wanda from the office called me the next day when they had something open up and we scheduled it for the following morning. I am sure this is not typical, just happened to be my lucky day that it worked out. Jeff and Mike showed up both days on time and got right to it. They were courteous, kept their area clean and did an excellent job. I am curious by nature, so I would watch from time to time and I may not know what I?m doing, but they sure did. They worked very well as a team and efficiently got the job done. They removed the old clay flue tiles, installed a new liner and insulation around the liner, and installed a chimney cap, damper and handle. Wanda from the office was super nice and got back with me quickly. The quote from Paul was detailed and the pictures were clear with explanations. Jeff and Mike did an excellent job with the repairs, showed up on time, where polite, cleaned up the area as they worked and when the job was completed. Wanda did a follow up phone call to see if I had any questions and asked if I would like someone to come out when we start our first fire. I declined, but thought it was wonderful that they offered to do that. Overall it was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend them.
