Craig came out to our house in mid-May to inspect the chimney exterior. He emailed us an estimate with "before" photos of our chimney a few days later. We made a decision and called to schedule the work. Fortunately, we were able to get a firm date and time for late June. Craig did the actual work. He then emailed the "after" photos. He was very knowledgeable, punctual, and polite. A job well done. I highly recommend Clean Sweep Chimney Solutions.

I wrote a 5-star review for them last year and found it difficult to modify or amend that review as the mold smell from my chimney came back. While they did inspect and clean my chimney and a few other things that came up to about $600 I believe, they did not actually solve my issue with the moldy smell coming from my fireplace, they masked it, and the smell came back. It especially smells in the summer when humidity is high. I appreciated the company sending their crew multiple times to investigate but they couldn’t figure it out, ran out of ideas, and left it at that. They are the chimney experts and I was disappointed they couldn’t get to the bottom of it.

Chimney had a moldy damp smell coming out of it. They did a sweep and waterproofed our chimney, sprayed solution inside chimney to get rid of the smell and tightened the mechanism the chain hooks in to, to make the chimney damper have a good seal. They taught us how to know when our chimney damper was open and how to open and close it (And shame on us - we did not realize we had our chimney damper open for several weeks which I'm sure also contributed to moisture getting in to the chimney). They were determined to get to the bottom of our issue which involved multiple visits. They went above and beyond for us and we really appreciate them. So far the moldy smell has really gone down - almost disappeared. I am a happy camper.

We were concerned about visitors stumbling on our loose bricks, but Jeff took care of this problem for us. He was punctual, polite, got to work and stuck with the job until it was done. We're very happy.

This company has done great work for us in the past on a variety of projects. We had another firm clean our gutters in the past, but we decided to switch. Daryl cleaned our gutters for us on a cold day in December. He was friendly and polite as usual. It had been awhile since the gutters were cleaned and they were quite clogged with fallen leaves. He worked hard and did a terrific job! We're pleased and thankful.

A terrific job as always. A Clean Sweep has taken care of our chimney for over 14 years. This time they performed a level 2 inspection of the chimney and cleaned out our dryer vent.

The person who set up the appointment did a great job to schedule the repair times within the last minute, one week window that I put on them. The two repairmen (Mike, Jeff) were prompt, courteous, and got right to work. They happily explained exactly what they were doing whenever I asked. There was a lot of rubble from the old clay flue tiles but they did a great job protecting my home and cleaning up afterwards. Their vacuum was a little loud and was on continuously most of the morning so be prepared for that if you're going to hang around like I did. After the first hour I went and dug out some earplugs. They returned on the second day to fill in mortar holes and cracks, and repair the chimney crown. After talking to the repairmen, they mentioned how long they'd been working on chimneys. Their experience made me feel even more confident in their work. You never really know if you're getting a good price for work completed unless you have some previous knowledge about your subject, be it cars/air conditioners/roof repair, or whatever. I got three estimates. One didn't mention the inner tiles and seemed more like a patch repair, but two estimates mentioned the damaged flue tiles. I chose to go with what I thought was a more permanent chimney repair. I think it was worth it.

Came late- but did receive a call to let me know. Not completely attentive to keeping area clean. Asked to check gas fireplace chimney- told it was ventless and they could not look at it. -later after having another company come determined that it was actually vented. Had smoke in the house after our first fire in the fireplace - called company- during cold period- they couldn't send anyone out until a week later - but did send supervisor. Learned it wasn't their fault- supervisor able to explain the problem with the house

Really well. I called them two days ago to discuss the work and was scheduled for an estimate midday yesterday. He arrived right on time, provided the estimate and went right to work. Just over an hour and everything looked great. Our house is 3,000 sq feet two story but I can reach some lower areas myself so only needed them for the upper roof around the main part of the house. Utilized the Angies List 10% off coupon from the website on the spot. Strongly recommend.

After a couple passes with the cleaning brush, my vent is now clean and unclogged.

I've use A Clean Sweep 2 or 3 times prior to this date of service and have always been well pleased. I first used them when I wanted the chimney in our previous home cleaned and inspected prior to putting it on the market. The price was very reasonable and all went well. I always recommend A Clean Sweep.

These guys were awesome. I called yesterday and they came out first thing this morning. They cleaned and fixed our gutters just before it started pouring. They were polite, efficient and fair in their pricing. I plan to use them soon to service our fireplaces as well!

I called another company first but they didn't answer their phone, so I tried A Clean Sweep. Owner Paul answered immediately and, after I told him what was needed, he scheduled me for the same day! Mike was punctual, early in fact, and I certainly appreciated his professional manner and explanation of the services he was performing. He was thorough and was even able to replace a lost louver for the vent cap outside. Excellent service! I highly recommend them for all vent cleaning and plan to call them as needed for our new home.

I called A Clean Sweep and they sent someone out the next day! Daryl did a great job. He cleaned out the dryer vent and hose. I mentioned that my husband had seen some lint in the crawl space. Daryl noticed the hose was detached under the house and reattached it, taping it securely. I asked about adding a screen over the exterior opening and he suggested a new vent cover with a screen. It was quite affordable, so we agreed to replace the cover. We appreciate the extra effort to address our problems.

used them for many years, do nice little things, like call before they arrive, so my wife, who is disabled, will know someone is climbing on the roof, dont require an invoice, post it on the door for someone to find. very nice and efficient.

We've used this company several times over the years to inspect our fireplace and chimney. They have also cleaned out our dryer vent many times in the past. This time they did both. A terrific job as always! Great service and nice people.

He was very efficient and cooperative. My gutters are easy to clean based on the gutter guard material I use in them. I have used A Clean Sweep for years and have been satisfied with their work.

They were very good. They were dependable and they did what they said they would do. They did very well. I had no problem or issue at all. They came out, did what they were supposed to, and left. They were most definitely responsive. They were able to come out right away and that is not usual. I think at the time I called them, it was getting to be a busy part of the season. They were very good about coming out.

They installed the round end of the 17 foot flex pipe that hooks into the stove with a round T and had to force it not the oval stove connection and then attempt to cork and seal the gaps with high heat corking material and then suspend the T using cement blocks. This caused over time the corking to crack from the heat and since the round metal tube did not fit inside the oval stove connector, resin started to leek into the and around the hearth, thus also causing possible fumes to leek into the dwelling and a safety issue. Will never use this company again and will never recommend their services to friends and neighbors.

They were great. They were much less expensive than the other options that were there. They were fabulous.

I've used them many times and they are excellent. They are very professional, punctual, thorough, and they clean up after themselves.
