Clean Sweep Chimney Solutions

Very professional two man team cleaned the chimney and made sure our den was in the same shape as it was when they started. We were impressed. We'll definitely use them again primarily because of their professionalism

It went well, they were on time and provided the estimate when they arrived. I accepted and they did the work. They didn't leave a mess and inspected all the gutters for any potential issues.

They were excellent. Showed up on time & were pleasant. They were clean and neat, cleaned everything up once finished and the woman who helped scheduled the appointment was very nice as well. Was very honest about not having to clean dryer vent.

Gutters were clogged with roof shingle "grit" from new roof put on about a year ago. Did a thorough job on a very hot day. Spent a lot of time on one gutter in a screened area under our deck that was hard to access.

Punctual,pleasant, finished in a reasonable amount of time. Tidy; no mess left behind.

The actual chimney cleaning was fine - they were very clean, efficient & courteous. HOWEVER, they said they MUST do an inspection, for an additional charge, even though I had just had it inspected since I was selling my home. They then said the hardly-ever-used, 13 year old chimney, wasn't built correctly, was in disrepair, and was unsafe to use - it had to be completely rebuilt, and they'd have someone call to give me a quote. When I called to find out how much, they said it would be $5,000 to repair! I called another company for a second opinion who referred me to a structural engineer, saying that 95% of the time this recommendation is totally unneeded. Sure enough, when I had the engineer inspect the chimney (and spending another $500), he said it was perfectly safe, built correctly, and only needed the repairs the original house inspector noted (chimney cap, seal cracks in mortar). And, there's no NC law requiring them to inspect when cleaning. VERY STRESSFUL EXPERIENCE!

Excellent. He was friendly and knowledgeable. We used them once before and we're happy again. He told me about a $10 coupon on their website that I would not have known about. He was available to come earlier than scheduled. They called to verify first.

I know this isn't considered a "big deal" but wanted Angie's List to know this company has always done a great job. Besides I get a discount for belonging to Angie's List, and that was a big help.

The company was extremely responsive as I needed them to schedule the cleaning within a day or two so that our exterior painting project could begin. They did a great job (even short a man who didn't show that day) and made some good suggestions on how to prevent any damage/clogging in downspouts connected to underground system. The price was right on the money (actually saved us a good bit over our previous gutter cleaning service) and we will stay with them as our provider of choice.

Called to make an appointment for an estimate and was given one for about 2 weeks later. Received a call to confirm appointment the day before. On day of service, I received a call from the office saying that the representative was early and would it be OK for him to come before the scheduled time. I was OK with that. Representative came and gave estimate and cleaned the gutters the same day. Very friendly, quick, and efficient. He cleaned all gutters and downspouts on my two story house. Price was $120 but he gave me a $10 discount because he knew I was referred by Angie's List, even though I didn't have a coupon. Will use again. Very pleased.

They arrived on time and the person was very professional. I told him that I needed to have the chimney cleaned as part of my rental agreement. He said it did not require cleaning. I only needed to pay for the visit. I did use them again.

Wanda was extremely pleasant when scheduling appointment. She had to reschedule due to being short staffed from employee illness and called well in advance to reschedule with sincerest apologies. Steve (I think that was his name) showed up on time and was very friendly and courteous. He gave me the $10 Angie's List discount and the work was completed in less than 45 minutes.

Showed-up on time and did a good job. Cleaned the dryer vent and corrected a problem I had with the lenght of the air tube from the dryer to the hole in the wall at no charge. Did a good job of taping/securing the air tube to the wall. Cost to clean the gutters was a little higher than compared to a competitor used by my neighbor ($95 vs $120). I thought it was still reasonable. Quote over the phone for gutter cleaning was $95 (subject to change upon arriving at the worksite and seeing the amount/difficulty involved). On-site quote started at $165 for the gutters, but came down to $120 when I said no thanks.

A Clean Sweep seemed to do a fine job on the cleaning portion of the job; however, I think their inspection left a little to be desired. I got a basic "fix it all" response, without any discussion/explanation of options. Another company that inspected my chimney gave me some lower-priced options, as well as found some things that A Clean Sweep missed. A Clean Sweep also quoted me an outrageous price for a custom chimney cap - The other company used a standard, less-expensive chimney cap. Overall, I felt like I was being "sold", rather than getting real information.

They did a very good job. Cleaning the vents helped with the air quality. They cleaned up after themselves.

This company arrives when they say they're going to and performs the work they're supposed to. We gave them a key on the first day and went to work. They clean up after themselves. Project took approximately 1 1/2 days. Only downside we found was that they're booked quite a bit in advance, first available appointment for chimney repair was over a month after we called to schedule the work. Chimney inspections and cleanings seem to be able to be done much sooner.

The job went well. They came out for the inspection and service on time and completed the work. They cleaned up after themselves and were happy to show us the old chase pan after they got it on the ground. Great group of professionals.

Great. They were able to work in my appointment within a week or two even in the busy season. The tech was knowledgeable and the receptionist was polite and helpful as well.

Technician was prompt, courteous and did great work. The estimate for fireplace repairs was completed by Mr Cole and mailed to me within a few days. Unfortunately, the repairs were a lot more expensive than I anticipated so I have not dealt with that yet.

Daryl Plott came to our home to clean the dryer vent and replace the vent hose that had been torn during a flooring installation. He replaced the hose with one made of a stronger and better material than the one we had before.

I was concerned about birds nesting in our chimney so I hired "A Clean Sweep" to clean and inspect the chimney for us before we started setting fires in the fireplace. I was able to get an appointment quickly and our chimney sweep arrived on time with a multitude of tools. As it turned out, our chimney wasn't very dirty and no birds were in it, but he took pictures of his visual inspection on the top of the house, and showed me pictures of the interior of our chimney as well, which reassured me even further. As a bonus, he also found a couple of areas to keep an eye on where our chimney pipe is a little askew and may need service in the future. Great guys, will definitely hire again.

The gentleman who cleaned out my gutters was very thorough and helpful. He took his time to bag all of the leaves out of the gutters and took them away. He gave me good information regarding the status of my gutters.
