After about 6 months, I noticed the drywall cracks re-appearing. Since it hadn't even been a year, they did come back out and attempt to repair with the mesh again and repainted at no extra cost. Unfortunately, the cracks have slowly begun reappearing, but the house is 21 years old and settling, especially with the extreme shifts in weather.

Dennis Mockler and his crew did an excellent job. Dennis responded promptly to our query and came to our home for an extensive consultation, listening carefully to understand exactly what we were looking for. He worked with us to set a date for the painting that worked with our family's schedule, and provided a detailed and specific proposal, including exact cost of the anticipated work, materials, etc. The crew arrived on time and worked efficiently but also carefully, and they cleaned up afterword. All together, this was an outstanding experience with a contractor. The house looks great, and we would not hesitate to use Certapro again in the future.

They arrived on time, each time they came to our home - for the consultation, the prep work and the painting. The owner was the one who came out for the consultation and give the quote. We received three quotes, he was by far the nicest and most professional. After the consultation, he was very accommodating when we made changes to the quote. We let them know on a Thursday morning that we were going to use them for our painting needs and by Thursday afternoon there was a crew at our home prepping for the paint job. The owner stopped by with the employees for both the prep work and the paint job, which was a nice touch. During the prep and painting the crew was very nice, courteous and professional, for the most part, we didn't know they were in the house. We could not be more pleased with the final outcome of the work. The ceiling paint in the bathroom held perfectly, you cannot tell where there were any holes or uneven spots in the walls and the preciseness on the trim work is wonderful! The quote was a small bit (not much) higher than the other three we received but absolutely worth every penny (and more!) for the peace of mind since they have a warranty on the work! In addition to being extremely professional, the owner called my husband to check on him (he had surgery the Friday in between the prep work on Thursday and painting on Saturday) and they mailed the nicest thank-you card with a token of their appreciation of our business. We will definitely be using them again in the future!

From start to finish, Dennis was fantastic. I set up the estimate appointment on the CertaPro website, and Dennis contacted me within a few days to confirm the appointment. During the confirmation call, he asked questions to prep himself before our meeting. He was very thorough. He arrived early for our estimate appointment, took his time going through each room in the house, measuring with a laser ruler, and then created a formal project proposal (complete with digital photos of each room we were having painted) before he left. CertaPro's prices were BY FAR the most competitive of the three estimates we received - was about 50% less of one of them. Before we even chose to move forward with them, we received a hand-written note from Dennis thanking us for the meeting. We chose CertaPro, signed the proposal and arranged the start date with Dennis. We were able to schedule the job when we wanted. A day before the job, Dennis sent a note indicating who our supervisor was going to be, Ricardo. Ricardo and his team were prompt, clean and very professional. My husband and I work outside of the home, and my in-laws were present during the paint - they raved about how lovely the crew was to deal with. They completed the job in 2.5 days! Upon completion, Ricardo walked through the house and fixed any minor things that I pointed out. He left me with his card as well as some left-over paint (we had three colors). We are already talking about painting our master bedroom in the Spring, and we plan on contacting Dennis and Ricardo for the job. HIGH RECOMMENDATIONS!

I highly recommend CertaPro of Matthews. I just had my house exterior painted by them. They were prompt, professional, and went above and beyond with their patience and willingness to explain in detail what they were doing and why, and to accommodate any concerns we had while they were working. We had one repair that could not be done and the supervisor took the time to review the problem with his carpenter several times, then diligently explained and showed my wife and I exactly why the repair was not practical for them to do, both from a cost and work perspective, explained what needed to be done, who exactly needed to do it, and then worked with me to adjust the project pricing to reflect the work they could not do. We were impressed and satisfied with the quality of their work and their conduct, so much so that we've recommended them to our neighbors for when they need painting done.

The salesman was very professional and courteous, which was the standout good. The standout bad was that the workers did not spend a lot of attention to detail and made several mistakes. You should be clear and upfront about your expectations to make sure that they make fewer mistakes. They were very courteous and very professional. There was just one person that came to work that spoke English and if he wasn't here, we couldn't communicate with the crew. I remember the price being fairly reasonable.

The response was excellent. I was able to set up an initial appointment, get an estimate and schedule the work very quickly. The painters arrived on time and did an excellent job. They were very careful to prevent damage to any furniture, flooring or molding. The final product looks great and I couldn't be happier. I'll definitely use them again!

I couldn't be happier with our choice to hire Dennis and his crew. They are the most professional, polite and respectful crew we have ever hired. Always punctual, high attention to detail and extremely neat which was super important to us. I wouldn't use anyone else in the future. They were awesome!

Dennis responded to my request for an estimate within a day. A pleasure to meet him and I appreciated his thorough proposal and explanation of services, insurance certification, etc. My job was scheduled conveniently and Ricardo, crew leader, and his team showed up on time and worked well together all day on this 9-hour job. They were super nice and professional. What can I say about the finished job? Not enough good things! The stairwell looks amazing and the crew's clean up was fantastic! I wouldn't hesitate to use CertaPro in the future.

They did a fantastic job. They painted the whole interior of our home. I was a contractor before I retired and if I could have found painters as good as them I would have hired them. They were that good.

After having ceramic tile installed in our kitchen, mud room and laundry room twice, we left dirty and damaged walls, baseboards and trim. My teenage son also decided his room needed an update including an accent wall. We reached out to our previous painter only to learn he had retired. We were faced with find a new painter who we could trust and be confident the job would completed to our expectations. After reviewing home improvement guides, ad on the radio and researching Angie's List, we contacted Certa Pro Painters for an estimate. Dennis came to our home and listened to our needs. We were very impressed with the documentation for the estimate including photos of the rooms to be painted. The estimate was very reasonable for the areas we needed painted so we decided to move forward. We even canceled the other appointments we had scheduled with other paint companies. Dennis was confident Certa Pro Painters could exceed our expectations and become our painter for life. The job was started in a timely manner and completed within 2 days. The painting crew was very professional and courteous. The work areas were prepped to ensure paint did not end up in the wrong place. The work space was cleaned up each evening as if they had never been in the house. The furniture was put back into its place, taking care nothing was damaged. At the completion of the job were told if we see any issues with the rooms to let them know and they would be happy to come back to correct. Their work also comes with a warranty I took the opportunity to choose new paint colors and the rooms are absolutely beautiful. We have additional rooms which need some "attention" . We will definitely call Certa Pro Painters to come back this fall to transform those rooms. Great Job!

I can honestly say, they were great. Dennis came to our home to go over what we wanted and gave us our estimate the same day. The cost was very reasonable and the crew that did the painting in our home was professional, polite & took pride in their work. They completed the job quickly & efficiently. I would definitely use them again.

Ricardo's crew did excellent work when here and never stopped working. They were very concerned about customer being satisfied and listened and took action when asked to do something. Very detail oriented. Job came out looking great and very pleased with service and job. Will have them back in the future for any more painting. Job was completed in the time stated it would take and furniture, wall hangings etc put back with care.
