I have used them over the past three years for repairs. They are always prompt. They do clean work. I am very satisfied with them. They do good work. I haven't had any issues with them at all. They keep the site clean.

A-1 Roofing & Siding has done roof repairs for us before (4 years ago) and we found them to be professional, efficient, and competitive in their pricing. I was not disappointed this time either. I called and left a message early in the week and the owner, Jim Higgins, called me back the following day, listened to my concerns, and scheduled a time to come look at our roof at the end of the week. He was also responsive in answering additional questions I had via a phone call the following week. We were impressed with the estimate (having expected a much higher price tag for a whole new roof). We have not scheduled the work yet due to other repairs/construction that needs to happen first before we can put a whole new roof on our house.

CALLED THE COMPANY. WITH IN 3 DAY REP. INSPECTED ROOF. WITHIN 5 DAYS WORK COMPLETED

Review was done in a very timely manner. Received proposal same day via email. The only reason I did not use this company was that I decided to use a company that would perform other repairs as well as the roofing repairs.

Excellent service! Price was very competitive. Workmanship was top quality. Work crew was prompt, courteous and professional. I highly recommend Jim and A1. Will definitely use again if needed.

I was pleasantly surprised. Jim Higgins was pleasant to deal with & showed up when he said he would.

I called A-1 and they had someone come out to inspect the damage. I did not need to be there for the inspection so I did not have to take any time off from work. Approximately a week later, I received an estimate for the repair. I called them and told them to complete the work. A few days later, while I was not home, the work was completed. The cost was $300 less than a competitor who was only going to replace the ridge vent that was blown off in the storm.

Not calling customers back is bad business practice. I called this company based on his all A rating on Angie's List.

He was helpful and very knowledgeable. He got the job done quick!

They did the job they told me they were going to do. They did not try to do any additional work. They did a great job and when i need a roof they are the guys i will call.

Once they began the job, they kept at it until completed. The crew showed up at 7:30 am and worked until 7:00 pm with a short lunch break. They were very polite and worked hard. They did a good job of cleaning up when finished. I would definitely use them again.

ONCE THE WORK STARTED, THE WORK WAS COMPLETED VERY QUICKLY, WITHOUT MUCH INTERACTION WITH ME. IT TOOK THEM OVER TWO WEEKS TO GET WORK DONE. I WASN'T VERY HAPPY ABOUT THAT SINCE WE WERE HAVING THUNDERSTORMS REGULARLY.

THIS WAS THE SECOND JOB A-1 HAS DONE FOR ME. THEY RE-ROOFED OUR OLD HOUSE LAST YEAR, AND WE WERE PLEASED ENOUGH TO USE THEM AGAIN. THIS WAS A DIFFERENT CREW THAN LAST TIME, BUT EQUALLY SATISFACTORY, OR PERHAPS BETTER. THEY ARRIVED EARLY (EVEN BEFORE THE SHINGLE DELIVERY!) AND WORKED STEADILY, COMPLETING THE JOB IN ONE DAY. THE ROOF LOOKS GREAT. THEY CLEANED UP WELL; WE'VE ONLY FOUND A FEW ODD NAILS IN THE GRASS AND PLANTING BEDS. NO DAMAGE TO SHRUBBERY OR GUTTERS FROM LADDERS OR ROOF REMOVAL. CALLS TO SET UP THE ESTIMATE AND THE JOB WERE RETURNED THE SAME DAY.

WAS VERY PROMPT IN RETURNING MY CALL.

OKAY EXPERIENCE BUT NOTHING STELLAR. BEST PRICE OUT THERE BUT FELT THAT COMMUNICATION BETWEEN OWNER JIM HIGGINS AND INSTALLERS COULD BE BETTER. VENT-PIPING INSTALLED WAS FINE ON ALL BUT ONE, WHERE I'D SAY IT WAS NOT AESTHETICALLY PLEASING.

THEY NEVER RETURNED MY CALL FROM 2 WEEKS AGO. I LET THEM KNOW IF THEY COULDN'T DO THE WORK TO LET ME KNOW.

I ASKED THEM TO COME AND LOOK AT DAMAGED RIDGE VENT (WHICH THEY HAD "FIXED" TWICE BEFORE). I TOLD THEM I WANTED A CALL BEFORE THEY CAME OUT TO MAKE SURE I WAS HERE. THEY DIDN'T AND SUBSEQUENTLY FAXED AN ESTIMATE TO AN OUT OF DATE FAX NUMBER. I GOT MUCH BETTER SERVICE FROM ANOTHER COMPANY.

WORK WAS TO BE DONE WITHIN 5-7 DAYS, IT TOOK A MONTH WITH NO CALL OR EXPLANATION FOR THE DELAY. THEY STARTED TO REPAIR THE WRONG LOCATION DUE TO INADEQUATE INSTRUCTIONS ON WORK ORDER.

I HAVE GOTTEN MY NEW ROOF. HOWEVER, IT WAS A DRAWN OUT JOB. THE HOT AND STORMY WEATHER WAS UNDERSTANDABLY A FACTOR, BUT THE OWNER NEVER SHOWED UP OR CHECKED ON MY SATISFACTION. I FEEL THAT THE CREW WAS NOT SUPERVISED HAD THEY BEEN, BARING BAD WEATHER, THE PROJECT MAY HAVE BEEN MORE ORGANIZED AND NOT HAVE TAKEN SO LONG. I SAW NEIGHBORS ROOFS COMPLETED MUCH FASTER.

ONCE THEY STARTED THE JOB, THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND EXTREMELY EFFICIENT. SLOW TO RETURN PHONE CALLS, BUT THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AND ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE WAIT. PAID TO BE PATIENT. I HAD BEEN WARNED THAT ROOFERS TYPICALLY LEAVE A LOT OF DEBRIS BEHIND, BUT NOT THESE GUYS. THEY DID A TERRIFIC JOB CLEANING UP. A FEW OF MY SCREENS WERE SLIGHTLY DAMAGED. THEY CALLED ME IMMEDIATELY TO OFFER TO HAVE THEM REPAIRED. I WOULDN'T HESITATE TO USE THEM AGAIN! GET ON THEIR WAITING LIST AND YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

THEY CAME BY AND TOLD US THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO BE RESPONSIBLE TO TAKE OFF OUR GUTTER SYSTEM AND REPLACE AFTER THEY FINISHED THE ROOF (AN EXTRA $1500). WHEN WE INFORMED THEM THAT THEIR LIABILITY INSURANCE SHOULD COVER ANY DAMAGE DONE TO OUR GUTTERS, THEY TOLD US THAT OUR ROOF WAS TOO STEEP (???)TO DO THIS $5000 JOB. WOULD NEVER SUGGEST TO USE THIS COMPANY.

I WAS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED THAT THEY NEVER RETURNED MY CALLS.

WE HAVEN'T HAD ENOUGH RAIN TO BE SURE THE ABOVE WORK ELIMINATED THE LEAK SO IT IS DIFFICULT TO RATE THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK. PHONE RESPONSE WAS VERY SLOW AND THEY LEFT BEHIND A SODA BOTTLE AND A FOAM PAD. BUT I WAS PLEASED THAT THEY WERE CONSCIENTIOUS ENOUGH TO USE THE FOAM PAD TO KEEP THEIR LADDER FROM MARKING UP OUR DECK. GIVEN THE LATTER AND ASSUMING THE LEAKS ARE FIXED, I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN. RATINGS ARE BASED ON THIS ASSUMPTION. SINCE I WAS NOT THERE WHEN THEY DID THE WORK, I CANNOT RATE PUNCTUALITY.

THE ROOF WAS SHINGLED WHILE I WAS OUT-OF-TOWN. I RETURNED AS THE WORK CREW WAS DRIVING OFF. THE CLEAN UP WAS IMMACULATE. I DID NOT FIND ONE NAIL IN THE DRIVEWAY OR YARD. I WOULD HAVE NEVER KNOW THAT THEY HAD BEEN THERE. THE ROOF LOOKS GREAT!
