Description of Work: Installed total music/video/wi-fi system, including above-fireplace mounting of TV with in-wall surround-sound speaker system, and all components, including satellite and stereo receivers, cd changer, cassette deck, turntable, modem, router in a compact shelving unit in a closet and out of view...no wires visible anywhere. System allows for expansion to other rooms and addition of security, home lighting and other home management via one remote or mobile device. Tim and his assistant were extremely careful with a challenging installation that involved exterior walls and above-door speaker locations. When they were done my house was spotless, including areas where drilling and cutting into walls had occurred. Incredibly, there was only one spot that required drywall repair. Everything worked perfectly... the Control4 remote was very intuitive and I had no problems operating all components of the system. It's been about 4 months since installation, and I couldn't be happier with my system, especially all the great-sounding music I now have at my fingertips. I will be adding home security to my system next and will look forward to working with Tim again.

Description of Work: Control 4 new installation and incorporation of existing sonos and apple TV; internet router, wifi extender, tv installations, assist with satellite tv provider. Very pleased and would highly recommend.

Description of Work: Trouble shoot my entertainment system and enhance its performance. Needed a new receiver and was helped to select a new won that fit my needs. He sent my old receiver, which was a victim of a electrical storm, back to the manufacturer first to see what the cost would be to fix. It was too much for a 6 year old receiver so I was helped in selecting a new one which he installed. He synchronized all my remotes into one for the system. I am extremely happy with the service in all respects. He regularly communicated with me, was prompt with house calls. He helped with suggestions, but never pushed. All final decisions were mine to make.

Description of Work: Excellent service. A++. Will use again. Recently contacted Entertainment Technology to re-wire new cable throughout my home that I am remodeling. I have Direct Tv and the existing cable in the home was 30 years old and had too many splits which degraded the signal. Tim provided a fast response, free estimate and scheduled the job within a week. Tim an team were very professional and considerate. New cable outlets in 6 rooms, new central box for consolidation and future expansion. Executed the job as promised and neatly cleaned up material and arranged the job according to my specifications. The job also involved installing new wall boxes at different locations, pulling hdmi for wall mounts and working to ensure nothing was disturbed. super considerate of furniture and surroundings and very detail oriented. I will refer Tim and entertainment technology to others. My wife felt very comfortable with entertainment technology.

Description of Work: My experience with Entertainment Technology, specifically with Tim Silor, was excellent. He provided complete, detailed design and installation of a great surround sound system, integrated with my internet ready TV and multiple speakers and an in-wall subwoofer.This was all controlled by a Home Controller (Control4).He also installed multiple wall mounted TV's with in-wall surge protectors.He did a very professional job, arrived when he stated he would and cleaned up when finished.
