It was an excellent learning experience. I feel that I know the structure of my home much better than when we moved in. They measured all the corners and other specific spots in the home to find that our home is actually very well built. Charlie Knutson gave us some pointers on how to stop precipitation from watering our foundation. This basically involved us fixing problems with our gutters and running a down spout and run-off line 15-20ft away from the home. They gave my husband and I the confidence and peace of mind that our home will last and last well if we just take care of a few issues. Their professionalism and knowledge of the topography here in Colorado really shows when Charlie and Paul are on the job. Being new to Colorado, I really appreciated the their expertise and advice.

Isaac Vigil was outstanding. He was professional and provided a thorough and honest opinion of our home's foundation. He didn't pressure or use scare tactics; but provided an honest assessment on several courses of action to better our home's structure and foundation. James

It's possible that at some point I'll get some work done, but nothing is needed right now.

Peak Structural was contracted to restore a duplex whose foundation had been settling unevenly to a level state and install push piers secured to the foundation and going down to bedrock in order to prevent future movement. The floor of the structure was off level by two inches, from one end of the building to the other prior to the start of the job. The contractor raised one end of the structure restoring the building to level and installed steel push piers to stabilize the structure. The work was completed on time by a very professional crew who did a good job cleaning up the work site upon completion. I rated the quality of the work as N/A because only the passage of time will tell if the work was truly successful in stopping the movement of the building. I rated the cost as "fair" because in this area I couldn't find anyone else who does this work with whom I could get a price comparison. The price seemed reasonable considering the scope of the work.

It went very well. All seems to be working.

The service went okay. Most places would not charge just to evaluate the basement. He did not even go into the crawl space, but he did look inside of it. He just walked around the building. I just do not think the service was worth the deal pricing. The technician was timely and very polite and nice. I was happy to be reassured the foundation was fine, but the technician said he was not a certified expert for the service. I had no issue with scheduling and they showed up on time.

The service went well. They did the inspection and did a nice job. We may consider using them in the future for further work they proposed. The technician did great work, showed up on time and was great at explaining everything to us. We had no issues with scheduling.

The service turned out well. They did the inspection, but we were not able to afford additional services from them at the time. What they had to offer and how they presented everything was very interesting and good. My wife and I would definitely consider using this company for future projects. The technician who came out was very informative and not pushy at all. They were happy to show us things about the foundation to consider working on in the future to prevent water damage. He even went into the crawl space with me to point out specifics. They were very helpful and I had no issues with scheduling.

They gave advise as to how we could handle the situation without paying for a company to do the work. We are going to try to fix the problem ourselves.

Upon further inspection of the outside of our foundation, it was agreed that some work could be done outside before resorting to the work they could per for in the basement.

They tried to sell me something I didn't need. The bid was $7000. They didn't talk me through the options that I should be looking at before they talked about the drainage system and they used hard sale tactics and that turned me off.

My experience with them was not good. They did kind of a shoddy job initially. They resealed my window well with dirt and rock. I didn’t think that the sump was down deep enough. They came back out and fixed that. I just discovered the other day that they had dug into one of my sprinkler lines. So apparently the sprinkler line underground has been blasting water into that window well. It is kind of a mess right now. I need to call them back. I don’t know what their response would be because technically on the contract it says that they are not responsible for hitting lines underground and stuff like that. They were punctual.

I bought this "deal" on Angies list thinking that they would actually do a real inspection of my property and tell me how I could fix it. After first buying the deal, the company sent some books on foundations and common problems and fixes. The books were informative. However, I did not sign up for this deal to read books on foundation and flooding repair. I wanted somebody to come to my house and diagnose my specific problem. The day of the "inspection" arrives and the companies representative was arrive on time. He was very professional and courteous. He built a general rapport with me and asked me lots of questions regarding the history of my house and issues I was having. We walked around the house, he took measurements, and checked for immediate visual evidence of foundation issues. At some point we even walked outside so that I could show him where I think a problem might exist. Maybe I didn't read the fine print on this "deal" or was confused as to what I was really purchasing. I truly was expecting this guy to pull out some kind of equipment to help diagnose my specific problem. What I got instead, after doing the "inspection" was a sales pitch on purchasing a very expensive sump pump type system designed to funnel water away from my house. This of course would cost upwards of $15,000 after all was said and done. I realized after all of this that all the inspection and measurements being done was all done to help provide a more accurate quote for this guys sales pitch on selling his companies product. I'm sure this companies product would work wonderfully. The thing is though, I did not pay $50 to listen to a sales pitch. I paid $50 to get a professional inspection done and then hear my actual options on getting my properties problems resolved. They said the actual value of this "service" was originally $700. This guy did not do $700 worth of work. He performed a standard sales pitch on me and tried unsuccessfully to get me to buy this companies product. Thankfully I was only swindled out of $50 and not $700. This kind of crap should be banned from Angies list. If Angies List truly cares about providing good services to its users then bait and switch "deals" like this would be removed from the site.

The service did not turned out well. We scheduled an appointment for 10 am, but they never showed up. We left around three but they never left a note indicating they were there. They also never followed up so I am getting a refund.

Peak Basement Systems gave an okay service, but they damaged a light switch and did nothing about it even though they acknowledged it. They were untidy, throwing cigarette butts on my back yard-with my tiny dog finding three of them. Fortunately, she was caught with them in her mouth before any possible disaster occurred such as her swallowing them.. The good thing about their service is that they gave me a seventy year warranty, and they were very good at explaining the procedures, albeit after I became upset over the placement of their pilings and the deck supports that would be mounted upon them. Until another system was employed the original would have had my deck supports structurally sound but looking like they were placed by drunken deck workers with no eye for symmetry or even a straight line.. I might reconsider their service in the future. They did leave behind hydraulic jacks, finally coming to retrieve them only after phoning to discuss this very review on Angie's List. I was impressed that they cared about their image enough to phone me. However, upon retrieving the jacks, hydraulic fluid leaked from all over my patio and front drive. I phoned them to inform them of the new problem and they came over to clean it. The cleaning was successful on the front drive but not on the patio. They did try different products on the stains to no avail. The stains remain, although somewhat subdued. The company owner did come out and express his regrets over all the mishaps. That went a long way for restoring some of my confidence, I was sent a $25 dollar restaurant gift card and a nice note form the company thanking me for my candor as it helps them improve.

Inspector arrived on time, performed a thorough inspection, and fortunately did not find anything that required attention.

They did really well. I did not have work done. I did not need work done. So, I was really appreciated that they were honest. They did not try to oversell. They were very helpful. It turned out I did not need any work, but they were really good.

20 year old home with drywall cracks in several parts of the home. Prior to having these repaired I wanted to make sure that there were no problems with the foundation. Aaron Moore inspected the foundation, inside and out, and determined that there were no issues with the foundation. No attempt was made to hard sell any of the companies products, which I appreciated. Aaron arrived at the scheduled time. No charges for the inspection even though we live ~ 20 miles outside of Colorado Springs. I do recommend Peak Basement Systems!

We scheduled the work about 3 weeks ahead, a confirmation courtesy call from the company would been helpful in planning. I didn't expected as much construction, I'd imagine that comes with the job. Clean up was o.k. but I also was a little shocked how my wall paint looked like after they were done. Also didn't know that the job included to take a foot of drywall off. Unfortunate they didn't provide a reinstall of the drywall so we have to hire a different company now. Overall, the job was done on time, the crew was friendly and kept me informed.

They looked at our basement crawl space and gave us an estimate. He gave us a detailed report as well. We did not have any problems with scheduling. We were very pleased with them. The technician was very nice and was very efficient.

No work was needed or performed

They were very professional. I am a my real estate investor and they seemed to be the go-to people for any kind of foundational stuff although they do not do the kind of work that I had done anymore. Their price was fair but it is hard for me to know the quality of their work because I am not an expert but it seems to be holding up just fine. I would definitely use them again in the future.

The project was completed quickly and within budget. Their fast and accurate quote made it possible for us to purchase a beautiful home and have the structural problems affordably resolved.
