I called Groundworks due to foundation issues. My upstairs front door would not open and my upstairs floor dropped about 1/2 inch. Aaron’s crew from Groundworks (Aaron, Blake, Hunter, and Noah) replaced the old wooden beam in the basement which was cut in half by the previous owner of my house with a steel beam and four steel adjustable posts. They were able to jack up my upstairs floor back to its original position. My upstair’s door still doesn’t close but fits much better now. That were fast at what needed to be done and very professional and when they finished they cleaned up the place like it was before they started. Five stars in my book…

Matt, Donovan and David came desterday and encapsulated our crawlspace. Just superb, super guys... took out old dirty fiberclass, installed new insulation, explained everything they were going to; double-checked what was to be done; showed us what they were doing as they were doing it; and thoroughly cleaned up before leaving. Very very good people.

The Colorado Springs crew, Spenser, Juan and Garrette were ontime, explained all the steps of the gutter, sump pump installation. They were always very professional and the work was done very well. I had no issues with their work.

Spenser, Juan and Garrett did a great job installing a sump pump and associated drainage system in my existing basement. Initially I had visions of a huge job with a big mess, but they kept the mess and dust to an absolute minimum. The finished installation is very clean and neat. They also saved me a significant amount of money by descoping the project after determining the extent of the water leak.

Excellent! Matt, Joseph, and Donovan completed the Intellijacks on time and within specs, Eric and Tyler lifted my basement slab and front stoop to proper levels. Darren, production manager, came by to oversee some engineering matters and keep me informed. Both crews updated me on each phase of the project and answered my questions clearly. They cleaned up and hauled out all debris, covered my floors and cupboards, and took care with my belongings. This is the second time I've hired Groundworks!
Description of Work: The project consisted of two parts: 1) remove failed support posts and replace with Intellijacks, and 2) raise my basement slab and front stoop to original specs. It was completed as scheduled in 2 days.

Good communication quality work. Its great not to have a curb on my sidewalk anymore. They also stabilized my driveway and concrete stair entry. This is an expensive process so I'm hoping it is long-term.

What a terrible experience! I was told by my HOA that I needed to repair my driveway and front steps due to sinking. I had Tim from Groundworks out to give me an estimate. It was clearly one of his first jobs, and he was not wearing deodorant. It took him a few hours to get the estimate. He assured me he had talked to his boss and sent several pictures, so it was accurate. Tim was a very nice guy and likable, but he needed more training. They gave me a long sales pitch and quoted around $3200 for the job. I asked for a specific date of 7-1 (3 weeks out) and was told they would contact me to schedule. I was never contacted, but I received an email 2 weeks later saying my appointment was soon, but it did not have a date or time. I had to call the office, I have called them 4 times over this procedure all 4 times, and it has gone directly to Rita's voicemail. They did confirm the appointment by phone. On 7-3. When the installers showed up, they could not repair the steps since they had sagged enough that they were under a bay window and would rip the face of the house off if it was jacked up. I was also told by Tim that they would fill the 2-inch gap between the house and the steps. The installers told me they do not do this work. I was quoted a complete driveway repair, but the only thing Tim sold me was the top two feet of the driveway being repaired, even though the entire driveway was sagging. It would have just moved the gap to the next expansion joint. After much deliberation with the install crew ( The only ones that had a clue in this entire process.) They were talking to the owner of the company, explaining what was going on, I asked to talk to him several times, and he would not talk to me. The installer kept walking away from me to talk to him. We ultimately agreed to switch the step repair for the complete driveway repair. A switch the installer told me was much more valuable since it was a much bigger area. It left me high and dry on the step repair that I had to have done in 2 weeks for a new renter. The repair took them 6 hours instead of 3, so it must have been a bigger job. I was going to just deal with the entire screwed-up situation and move on and never use them again, but I found out yesterday that they cut one of my sprinkler lines. I figured it would be easy for them to fix, so I called and asked for a repair. Darren the production manager, called me back and told me they would not repair it. He said they would have repaired it if they found it while they were on site, but they could not be bothered to come back and fix it. So now I have to dig back up their drain and repair my sprinkler. I went with them because I thought it would be an easy repair. Instead, I now have to repair the stairs myself after waiting 3 weeks, and I have to fix a broken sprinkler line. I have spent $3200, I could have replaced the driveway for $5000. This is a terrible company that puts high-pressure sales above its clients. They care more about selling than even training their salespeople. Don't use them! Tim, if you read this, change companies ASAP!

PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS BEFORE DOING ANY KIND OF BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! I contacted Peak to evaluate my home and look into some cracks that I had starting to develop in my ceiling and around a few doorways. After taking some measurements the salesman highly suggested that if I wanted to address this concerning issue, that I would need to have a multitude of push piers installed with three different options ranging in price from $25k to over $100k! This was the only option suggested for repairing the concern that I had. I went ahead and hired them to address the issue and went with the least costly repair. I elected to remove a section of drywall in my basement myself to help alleviate some of the high cost. Approximately a month before the work was to begin I tore out the wall and found a popped corner on the foundation just below where the cracks had formed in the ceiling upstairs. Since it seemed that this could very well be the reason for the cracks, I called Peak back to reevaluate the suggested work from their sales team. They reassured me that this was still the fix to the issue, but that maybe we could do it with one less push pier. This all started to feel a bit wrong to me, so I went ahead and hired a PE (Professional Engineer) to come and look into the issues I was having. As I had suspected, the Engineer stated that my home was performing well and that he would highly suggest against installing push piers. No structural concerns or required repairs. As soon as I got this info I reached out to Peak again and they wouldn’t budge and held me to a contract of unnecessary repairs. Keep in mind that I had my property evaluated by a PE and Peak never sent an actual Engineer to my property to assess what was found. After several emails back and forth with their sales lead, they finally offered to perform another form of work, if I didn’t want the push piers installed. I suggested that I needed a driveway and they jumped on that. The quote they shot me for the driveway was $14,440! Along with a very overpriced driveway, they opted to keep $2,300 of my initial deposit stating that an engineer was paid for the previous push pier job that they were trying to push. Now an already overpriced driveway ended up costing me $16,740! I expressed my concerns with the excessive cost, but they could have cared less. They had me in a signed contract and were going to take me for every extra dollar they could. They stated that I could hire some flat work company to do it for less and that is exactly what they did! They hired a flat work company that poured me a less then mediocre driveway…Paid them approximately half of my total cost and kept the rest. Very shady business practices and I would highly suggest finding another company to help with your structural needs. Do yourself a favor and hire an engineer before trusting these guys to help you out.

Great. I got several quotes for the work to be done on my house, but after talking with Xavier, I decided to go with Peak Structural. Today, Mike, Aven and Casey came out to my house to level a piece of concrete that had sunk as well as fill some voids in the driveway due to settling there as well. When the crew arrived, they were polite, informative, and diligent in getting the work done in a timely manner. I'm very satisfied with the work and plan on having them out in the future to address some other issues on my property.

What an awesome experience from start to completion! Fantastic communication, clear explanations and top quality work (including as stated on-time arrivals and departures) made the entire experience a joy. My team of Tim H., Kato M., and Jackson T. did such fine work and were a pleasure to work with the two days my crawlspace encapsulation took. I can’t recommend this company more and would encourage you to ask for Tim, Kato and Jackson as I can’t say enough good things about them! I’d give them more than 5 stars if I could 😀👍!
