On August 22nd, I called and spoke to Rafael to tell him I had an Angie's List deal and would like to schedule him to paint my daughters room. He told me his wife, Robin does the scheduling and asked me to contact her. I was not able to contact her right away, yet she called me a day later to schedule a date to come to my house (of which I thought was great customer service!) She was very friendly at the time and told me she would text me information on how to get the Porter Paint at a discount. However, the following Thursday, the 29th of August, I did not receive a text, so I called her and her mailbox was full. So, I text her and told her that I never received the information she was to send me. Robin called me back early that evening. She said that she was looking at her phone and that she was looking at the information she had text me (and I was looking at my phone and did not see anything of the sort-there was no convincing her that I did not receive the information-I figured she sent it to the wrong number). She was driving, so she gave me the phone to Rafael to confirm my cell number and he gave me the information for the paint. None-the-less, I canceled the "would be" appointment (Although, I am not sure she really had any idea that they were scheduled to come the following day anyway). So I rescheduled for September 6th 2013. I called Robin last night to confirm my appointment. She did not answer so, I left a message and ask what type of prep/moving of furniture I should do for our appointment tomorrow. Well 9:20am came today and no painters showed up. I called Rafael this time and he had no idea of the appointment, he said he had to call Robin to figure it out. Well, she called me back and asked me how I was. I told her I was really irritated and that I blocked the whole day so that they could come and paint today. She told me she had no recollection of the appointment. I told her we had just spoke the week before, although, she had remember that(?)! I told her, I left a message to confirm the appointment, and she began to get irate and tell me that she told me that "if I could just listen" and that she he got home at 9:30pm last night. I asked her how that was my problem. And then she said it would be best if I just asked Angie's List for a full refund and I whole heartily agreed. If I could give any advice to this couple or any service provider for that matter I would tell them the 3 C's: 1. Keep a good CALENDAR 2. COMMUNICATE with your customer/check your messages/confirm your appointments. 3. Give good CUSTOMER SERVICE- treat your customer with respect i.e. Do not say "If you would just listen, do you know how late I got in last night?" Good Luck to you Robin and Rafael, time will tell how strong your business is and poor customer service will not get you very far.

We purchased a big deal for the service, and everything was fine. It took longer than we thought.

There were two men that painted the room. They were on time and did the work in two hours. I would recommend them to friends and family.

I hired Rafael to paint one room in my house. Rafael and his partner came on time on Saturday morning and did a great job. They finished the job in about 1.5 hrs. They worked cleanly and efficiently. The new color is beautiful and I'm very happy with the end result.

I bought a cupon. It was somewhat difficult to get my job scheduled but the work was done well. I am happy with the work.

Rafael came to the house for an estimate in late June and the work was completed in approximately six weeks. Rafael is professional and responsive to the needs of the customer. Also enjoyed e-mail's and telephone calls from his wife Robin who works with him and does the majority of the scheduling. The length of time from start to finish seems long, but that was due to the complexity of the job and the time needed between the processes. We are quite happy with the outcome and would recommend BlueP for you future needs. We reside a distance from the company headquarters but did not hear any complaints about being too far or out of their service area.

He did the repairs in 2 hours and it was a good looking repair.

They were punctual and professional and did a very good job painting and clean up. I would highly recommend them and use their services again.

It was great. They were here on time. They came and did a nice job. It was quick, they were in and out and cleaned up well. It looks great.

I bought one of the $89.00 specials to paint the rooms on the first floor. Robin called me to schedule time for work. They came as promised at 7:00am on June 17. They were very professional, courteous, friendly and had good customer service skills. They did an excellent job and finished the work in the early afternoon of the day.They cleaned up and was in and out quickly. They know what they are doing. Since the special was only for the walls I opted to have the trim painted for an additional fee. We are very pleased with their service and will definitely use Rafael again.

Robin (the owner's wife) was very responsive both on the phone and in person. She came to the house both days to supervise the hourly painters and actually worked alongside of them. When Rafael was onsite, the hourly painters worked quicker and better and were more responsive than when he was not there. The hourly painters were not as attentive to detail as we felt they should have been; one of them actually brushed up against the piano (getting wet paint on the wood); and we found that we were cleaning up paint spatters off doors and windows and the wooden stairwell as we found them for several days after the job was completed. There were some scattered areas where the cut in was not gone over a second time, so there is some shadowing from the slightly darker color that they were covering over - fortunately, most of this is hidden behind furniture and cannot easily be seen. The prior comments sound like all we are doing is complaining ... which is not true ... the overall paint job was satisfactory and the pricing was reasonable. My real concern is that Rafael and Robin are going to have their reputation hurt by having people who work for them who do not adhere to the higher standards of workmanship and client care that they, as owners, do..

I had purchased an Angie's List deal for drywall repair. Raf arrived a little earlier than expected. He was professional, friendly, and ready to work although it was late in the day. I showed him the two areas that needed work. After running to the store to pick a few things, he immediately went to work. I had an appointment and left for a little while. When I returned, Raf had repaired the ceiling, had painted both ceilings in the rooms, and was cleaning up. I was so impressed with the quality of the work. He did a professional and quick job. If I was staying in the area, I would use his company again. Great work and nice people.

They were pretty flexible with the schedule and came out. They did a good job and they were very responsive. I have several walls painted but there was a wall that had a decal and they did not have the decal down and they said that they would do a re-servicing so that the paint will go on well and they didn't tell me there's something that's not finished.

He painted the room and it didn't take long at all. He applied two coats and made NO mess. My husband and I were very impressed and plan on using this company again in the near future.

I thought it would require drywall removal but Rafael found the drywall to still be in good shape so just needed to re-tape and add mud.

I called for an appointment. He started off by saying he would need to charge $50 due to the distance from home and the number of windows and doors in the room I wanted painted. I decided to go a different direction.

We removed moldings from a great room wall and needed drywall repair and painting for one wall floor to ceiling 20 feet high. I purchased an Angie's List discounted rate for four hours of drywall repair. Raphael and Robin were very punctual in returning my call and honest up front that the deal I purchased may not cover all costs for repair and painting such a large, tall wall - fair enough The drywall job did not need as much work as originally quoted and Raphael very fairly and honestly reduced his price accordingly. I cannot tell where the damage to the wall used to be - it looks great. He worked hard sanding 20 feet in the air. The repair and paint look fantastic. Before they left I had them quote me for painting another room including patching a celing.

He was late, but called to let us know he was running late. We appreciated that! Our masterbedroom has had a large crack running from the bathroom door frame to the ceiling on both sides of the wall and a similar crack above the closet door frame on both sides of the wall. We have finally gotten tired of looking at it so when Angie's List had a promotion for 3 hours of drywall work for $99. we decided to take advantage of it. He did a beautiful job taping/mudding/sanding. After we painted it you cannot tell there was ever a crack. It's perfect. He did not make a mess and didn't take too long. We will definitely use this company again.

When they arrived, the room we wanted painted was slightly larger than they though so they charged an extra $20. Not earth shattering, but a little disappointing. Overall, they were fantastic. The painting was completed in about 3 hours (2-3x faster than I could have done it). They arrived on time, kept us informed, and put the room back together when they were finished. I was very happy with them, and we will most likely use them again for other small projects.

Excellent in every way - cannot rate these guys highly enough !

Rafael did an outstanding job...clean work, on-time arrival, great price. I'll call him again for my next job.

We were having some last minute things done around our house before family coming into town for the holidays, got in touch with Rafael about the problems and he jumped right into it got the work done for us. He did a great job as he always does and got it done in a timely manner before family arriving the next day!
