We moved from our home on Thanksgiving weekend of 2012. We had originaly asked to have only the furniture moved. Once there, they did a walk through with us and told us that if there were any items, other than the indoor furniture, we needed help lifting just to let them know. This proved to be a great blessing because we did find several non furniture items that we were not able to move on our own. They saw that we had packed boxes that we were going to move ourselves and they put those on their truck and moved those for us too. The boys were more than willing to do whatever was asked of them. The work performed was carried out with professionalism and courtesy. I will certainly recommend JE Thoams and Sons to anyone I know who plans on moving into a new home.

Their quote was for S6,000.00 and they are going to move me at the end of October. I found them on Angie's List and they seem like really nice people. It is a family situation and they gave me a good estimate. It seems like a fair price.

They did a great job. They charged by the hour and were very quick and efficient; they did not waste any time. This company was very professional; all my stuff got there great and there were no problems with any of my things. They were cautious and made sure they asked where I wanted to put things. I called different places to compare and they were very reasonable.

The move was a 6-hour job. Neal, Danny, Shawn and Paul did a great job with our furniture. They hustled and got the job done quickly and without damaging anything. I was under the impression from the estimator that the movers would be there at 9:00 a.m., but they had scheduled a small job ahead of ours and got there around 1:00 p.m. It worked out well, though. It gave us more time to load up and move the small items. I would definitely hire them again. They were nice young men; very respectful of us and our belongings, and even gave us a few helpful tips about deck care.

Movers arrived on time at both places. Florida unpack proved tedious due to elevator but both guys were extremely professional and patient with process.

When I called them, they got back to me with an estimate. They came back and did the move. They did a wonderful job. It was a positive experience. They did a great job and their price was fine. It was within my budget. There were things that I was personally going to move and I didn’t even think of using them but they went ahead and moved it anyway. They didn’t charge me for it. When they moved the furniture, nothing was damaged. They took excellent care in making sure that it was moved properly.

JE THOMAS & SONS were outstanding. They were extremely responsive to my needs and timeline on the telephone and came to give us an estimate prior to committing to do the job. They were very open and honest about the pricing and it turned out that the true cost was several hundred dollars less than the non-binding initial estimate we had agreed upon. All personnel were extremely respectful and hard-working and my family and I enjoyed the experience, since Mr. Thomas and his family are such good people. I chose to hire his crew from Jacksonville even though I lived in Atlantic Beach (and had to pay extra) because of his reputation and the quality of their work. Everything was packed and moved in an effective and efficient way and met the time slots allotted. I am so happy that I used this company and would do so again in a heartbeat, even if I had to pay more because of distance. Overall, a great experience.

The Thomas family moved us from Jacksonville, NC all the way to Alabama. (Retirement move, two years after retirement) They were a complete joy to work with. Their attention to detail is amazing. Everything was packed beautifully and arrived without a scratch on it! All our 19000 lbs of furniture and goods looked as if it had been moved a block instead of three states over. They placed everything where I asked, setup the beds and all large furniture and unpacked all the mirrors and pictures. All the family and employees are professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Highly recommend them for small or large moves. They were recommended to me by friends and I am very grateful. Moving was a better experience because of their family. Thanks!!

Our move was not a long distance one, but we had some tricky pieces of furniture... Like a 9' long, 6' tall solid wood bookcase that was heavy and cumbersome. The three men were able to get it out of our old house and into the new one with no problems! Amazing! The rest of our items we had already packed ourselves, and they were moved quickly into the new house. We had originally booked the movers for 2 hours, but since they moved all of the furniture, I asked if they could stay an hour longer and move the boxes for us, too. They did, plus they were able to unload our attic for us. The three sons worked steadily and efficiently. We had already planned out where to put the furniture in the new house, and the movers followed directions, so everything ended up in the right place. They worked constantly; in fact, the only time they took a break was when we offered them water. (It was about 93 degrees outside that day.) This moving company's price is $105 for one hour, but you get THREE men for that price, (not just two, like a lot of the other companies). There is a minimum of two hours. It was money well spent.

When I called, John came out and gave me an estimate. He said he would need 2 trucks to do the job. Because our closing date on our new house was so up in the air John and his wife worked around their busy schedule (Christmas week) to get us in as soon as possible. And they did. My husband and I packed everything in boxes and they moved it all. Fantastic company!!!!

I was so stressed until JE Thomas got to my house. They packed my stuff up very carefully and moved us the next day. Very quick and careful. I loved these guys. YOU MUST use them for a move. They take care of everything.
