Absolutely the worst! Not to be trusted. The technicians do not know what they are doing. We upgraded to a "better" Trane system. Problems started with installation. Did not have the right parts. Had to get them from another location. Then, I was told they had to install lower wattage heat strips because the wiring in the home (9 years old) would not support the new ones. The techs said it wouldn't make a difference. System was installed in the fall, in NC location. First time it got warm enough to run the A/C, the entire house began to sweat, inside! They came out and said there was humidity left on the coils... Whatever... Every time the A/C is started, the humidity inside jumps to 70%. Now, it's winter and cold. The system cannot keep up. It is always cold inside. The electric bills are higher than they have ever been! This is a more efficient system?? B/S! Absolutely crap. The heat strips are obviously not sufficient to heat a two story home. I have an $8000 boat anchor attached to my home now. Now, on another service call, they come out and say "it's like trying to fill two buckets with one hose." Their explanation!!! They have been out four times now. No resolution. Even Duke Energy has sent a notice that our electric usage is higher than it has ever been and higher than other homes in our area. I have the facts as I am sure they will try to rebut this review.

I would never use them. First off, they came out here. It has nothing in it. He leaked it down. I had it fixed by someone else. They sent somebody else out here and they gave me a price of $6600 to replace the system. I called another company and got a whole new system put in for $4500. It was the same exact system.

Great. The estimator, Roland Brown, was here early (pretty much unheard of), listened to what I needed to say/describe, did his thing and came back with a quote that I was quite pleased with, I asked for several mods, and he did so, again very timely and professionally, Could not have asked for a better session. I have scheduled installation in several weeks and look forward to as good an installation experience as I had with getting the estimate. I am quite pleased with the price, certainly not cheap, but within the area I was anticipating/hoping for. When I first called, on a weekend, I got a response, and when I called Mr Brown to discuss an item, I got an immediate pick up. So far, very impressed.

The tech arrived on time and was very courteous. He checked both AC/heat units and found no issues. He did not try to sell me anything or say that there were items I needed when I did not. Great service call. I would definitely use them again. He did show me that my units would nee replacing soon as the fins were very brittle and easily broken. He did not pressure me to get this done right now. He told me that his company did installations and said that I could call to have a rep come provide us with information and quotes. Great tech, very honest in his approach.

David Turner was by far the most profesional person I came into contact with in my search for a new A/C system. He was honest, punctual and extremely professional in all aspects of my encounter. Even though the price was a bit more than I wanted to spend, I considered hiring Carolina Comfort Air simply due to the honesty, charisma and professionalism David portrayed. I have NO doubt Carolina Comfort Air would have installed a quality system by highly qualified technicians.

We had been dealing with a real lemon of a unit for the last several years and an HVAC company that our whole subdivision had contracted with. We were fed up and wanted to seek advice from someone else. From reading other reviews here, we decided to give Carolina Comfort Air a call and I am so happy we did. My husband called and by the next day, we had our second opinion and a new plan of action. We did have to go the route of having a new unit installed, but the process was not at all overwhelming. Everyone we have worked with is very knowledgeable and professional. They also have a great financing option. The unit was installed by a crew of 3 guys that worked until they were done. They were curtious and very capable. The company is also sending out someone for a follow-up inspection and will provide an anniversary inspection in a year. I am thankful we found this company and would highly recommend.

A few hours after I ordered this special on Angie's List, they contacted me to set up an appointment. Their customer service was very friendly and made me aware of some special offers they have for landlords. The technicians called me about 30 minutes before he arrived to confirm and both were very polite and courteous. They showed me what they were testing and what the readouts meant. A good experience and I will definitely use them again.

I had a technician show up bright and early even given the long haul from their home location in Jacksonville to my home in New Bern. Chris was extremely helpful and even took the time to stop frequently and explain what he was doing and why. I'm not exactly a DIY specialist, so this education was very appreciated. During the visit he thoroughly checked out both of our indoor and outdoor units, diagnosed a fan motor as the primary issue we were having and replaced/updated both of our long outdated thermostats. During his entire visit, Chris was friendly and understanding of my curiosity. he administrative pat of the visit was also very easy because the company outfits its technicians with iPads that are able to collect information on your models and store them for future use as well as act as a point of sale. I was extremely happy with this service and would recommend it to friends in the future. Their number is getting saved in my phone.

They came out right away, and the technician troubleshooted the problem. There was something wrong with one of the electrical components. They fixed it within the hour, and they did a great job.? They didn?t even charge us full price for the repair. Their customer service and technician were awesome. The whole experience form start to finish was positive. I would definitely use them again.

They did it quick, called me and explained everything. They were professional. I will use them again in the future. The price included 3 checkups throughout the year.

They actually contacted us. They were proactive in letting us know that in order to maintain the extended warranty on our heating and air conditioning equipment that we needed to have annual maintenance done. Obviously they were getting paid for the service but they reached out to us to make sure that we were doing what we needed to do to maintain our extended warranty. They took care of everything very quickly and they did a great job getting everything cleaned up. They had installed everything in our house and they have always been very responsive in taking care of stuff. We thought the price was a little steep for the annual maintenance. They were on time for the appointment.
