Never heard from them!

Every thing went well at first. Since then, I've tried calling him to do some other projects for us, but he never showed up and wouldn't return calls. Now I'm needing to contact him for warranty work and he still won't return my calls. Our warranty is good for 20 years.

A-1 House Medic came out and pressure washed my home, replaced some deck boards, repaired some fence panels and repaired my mailbox. The price was great, the service was great, I will definitely use them again.

Very Professional! The project took three days becasue of additional problems with replacing the floor. He focus on keeping the cost of project down without cutting corners. I plan to used this company for other projects for my rental project.

get any estimates you have done, in writing, because the price will change upon completion.

Overall, the experience was good but one of the fixes of the 3 holes in the siding did fall through so it still shows a little bit. However, the guys were very nice and the choice to only fill the holes instead of replace the siding was my suggestion so I cannot blame them. Good guys and helpful.

He showed up on time completed the job in 1 week time and by the way it was scheduled for 2 weeks so I actually got to show it sooner and get it rented sooner saving me even more money

In a nutshell, it didn't go well at all. We contacted A-1 House Medic to give us an estimate to powerwash and reseal our deck. Neil responded right away, met me at the house to look at the deck, and gave what was probably a reasonable estimate. From that point on everything went downhill. It took over two weeks for the person he uses to do his powerwashing to show up and clean the deck, this despite the fact that we'd had some really good weather. After the deck was initially cleaned we contacted Neil and pointed out that there were a couple of places on the deck that hadn't come clean enough and that they'd need to be washed again before it was sealed. We waited another week before the kid showed up again to use a stronger bleach solution on the deck. When he was done the darker spots looked good, but in the meantime he had splashed straight bleach on OTHER parts of the deck, so now THOSE places stood out. When we contacted Neil about that problem he said that the guy would come back and redo the entire deck so that the surface and finish were even in tone. At that point we emphasized to Neil that we needed to have things wrapped up no later than the weekend before Thanksgiving, and he said and quot;no problem.and quot; We needed to get the deck done because we had been waiting a month to plant shrubs in two beds next to the deck; we had held off putting them in the ground until the deck was finished. Once the deck had been rewashed we were told that Neil himself would be there on the Friday before Thanksgiving to seal the deck, and we again emphasized that it had to be done that weekend. Friday came and went and the deck remained unfinished. On that Saturday morning I called Neil to find out what his plan was for the deck, emphasizing that it had to be done that day, and was told that he couldn't get it done before Monday. When I reminded him that he had had well over a month to get things done, and that he'd told me he would be there the previous day he hadn't shown, or bothered to call, he got very defensive and started talking about all the rain we'd had. When I suggested that the deck was fully dry and that the rain wasn't a sufficient excuse for not showing up he shifted the blame to us for and quot;complainingand quot; about how the deck looked after it was initially washed. Finally he said that he would not charge us for powerwashing the deck and that we were free to look for someone else to finish the job. My son and I ended up sealing the deck ourselves that day. The bottom line is that Neil was great about coming promptly to give an estimate, gave what was probably a competitive quote, but absolutely couldn't, or wouldn't, follow through. I would NOT consider his services again, for ANYTHING, nor would I consider recommending him to anyone. On the contrary, if anyone asked me about him I would steer them away.

It took a while for them to get here. I had to reschedule and it was kind of a strain. I thought that the job took longer than it should have and I didn't think that it was very well done. I found them on Angie's List but I wouldn't recommend them to anybody. Their price was pretty good.

He was easy to work with. He did what he proposed to do. I would hire him again in the future.

Neal Turner responded to my call the same day. He inspected the area, gave a reasonable estimate, and set up an appointment to complete the work. He worked around my work schedule and on the day I could not miss work he arranged for a generator to be on site to avoid having a drop cord through the window for electrical power. He was very professional and I am pleased with the work. It held up fine through Hurricane Irene which occurred 2 weeks after job was completed.

They did an excellent job on the vinyl wrap. The vinyl wrap was $1300 and some change. The interior paint job was about $2,000. The amount they gave for the estimate was the actual amount for the job. They came out every day on time. They were very diligent and hard workers the amount of time that they were here. They were precise. They were excellent. I will have them come back and do work for me again. We are going to use them for another job.

We liked him because he is punctual. He is accurate in his estimates. He does a good work. I would absolutely use him in the future.

He was originally scheduled to come out and perform an estimate on the 23 March 2011 @ 5:30pm but he never showed or called to cancel. At 5:44pm I contacted and him and he said that he missed me in his appointment schedule and apologized and asked to reschedule. I told Mr. Turner that the first available time I had availavle was 25 March 2011 @ 5:30pm and he agreed to meet me at my home in Richlands to perform the estimate. On 25 March 2011, @ 5:16pm he called and said he was on his way and he should be there in a few minutes. I gave him the address because it is a new construction and the actual address has not been updated in most GPS's but the alternate address will bring you to our door. At 6:00pm he still had not arrived so I called him to make sure there wasn't an issue but no one answered. I called again at 6:33pm and still no answer. He has not called since then. This was very unprofessional and I will not attempt to call you use his business again. I hope all is well with him.

They missed a small section but as soon as I told them they came out and finished it.

The work we needed has been on our home repair list for a long time. We had damage from our move in that was never repaired around our fireplace molding. We needed to replace the faucet and we needed the backyard fence repaired in places. This company gave us a good estimate and kept to the estimate. I couldn't be happier with the work that was done. The work was not rushed and the quality was very good. I would not hesitate to call them again for repairs, in fact I have some more projects I plan on calling them for very soon.

They were very accommodating, nice, and helpful. They even came into the house while I was on vacation, so they did the job while I was gone. They had a good sense of humor about it. Everything went really well.

They did a great job. They were reasonably priced. He was on time and made sure that all of the work was very well done.

A-1 House Medic was extremely professional, on time, curteous, and went above and beyond what was asked. The work was all done very quickly and looks fantastic. I've been told by neighbors that the house is the nicest looking one on the street now. The exterior painting is perfect, the backyard is completely fenced in now and the landscaping has improved a great deal. Communication with Neal was excellent and he would often respond back to me within the hour if I called him. The value of the work I received for what I paid was great. I highly recommend Neal and his team for any of your house repair or upgrade needs.

From the beginning it was a pleasure to work with Neal and his team. He was always on time, cleaned up at the end of the day and was very helpful in deciding what work needed to be done. We were putting our house on the market and needed a lot of little things done, along with some bigger jobs, too. Neal was very friendly and reliable. Our house sold within 2 weeks of getting it on the market and I thank Neal for helping us make the improvements to help us sell so quickly!

Called on July 1, had a contract signed the same day. 50% Down payment. Scheduled the work for July 7, Arrived at my home 9am on July 7. Completed all the work in one day. Roof vents, and bathroom lights/vent work great and are properly vented to the outside, the two shed doors he built are solid, fit perfectly, and look fantastic.

Very professional and easy to do business with. Punctual, gave exact estimate,in writing. Showed up on time and ready to work. Mr Turner is a stickler for details and doesn't mind taking the time to do a perfect job. Laid the tile in a beautiful pattern and was courteous and very neat and clean. His helper we found to be the same and they both worked non-stop. Job was finished within the time frame given. We are more than satisfied with the quality of the job. We plan on using them to lay flooring inside our house and will call on them for any other jobs that come up. Definitely worth every penny we paid and we will highly recommend A-1 House Medic company to others.

He came and showed up right on time. He came ini and told me that it looked bad, but he would like to try it anyway. He worked hard and figured out the door needed to be lifted a little. The job was dealt with a very professinal manner. I would recommend him to anyone.

From the time I called to the time the project was finished was less than three days. They did great work and did it exactly as I wanted it done. I was going to have them sand down the cabinets to make room for the fridge but they told me they could move the entire cabinet group, making it look *much* better. I'm really glad they suggested it.
