Kikers Tree Service & Stump Removal

Had some trouble getting the meeting and service times set up, but once they were here the job went great. They had the trees down in just a few hours with no issues. I asked to keep the wood chips for my yard and they dumped them exactly where I wanted as not to kill the grass. Price was fair and the guys that came to do the job were friendly and did great work.

Kikers Tree Service arrived on 9/17/2013 at 9:05am and began working immediately. They were very precise and orderly. They cleared away all debris and blew off our patio and deck. We had many trees in our back yard that had grown so thick and full it became impossible to grow grass or anything. We now have Sunshine flowing through for plants and grass to grow! We used Kikers Tree Services about three years ago to cut down a large tree. We were very pleased with them at that time. After calling other tree services, we contacted Kikers again and decided they were the company we wanted to handle our needs this time as well.

Called Travis on 8/26 he came out that evening looked over what we wanted done and quoted me a price. I told him he was the first I called and wanted to get a couple of more estimates. He said that was fine, left me his card and said to call if I wanted him to do the work to call him. I called him on 8/29 and told him I would like the work done. He informed me he was on a large job and if it was completed early enough he would have a crew at the house this evening. His men (8 of them) arrived at about 4PM and had the two trees down, the stumps grind down and everything chopped up and taken away. The place was completely cleaned up and were finished by 5PM. We were very satisfied with the complete job.

Very competitive and professional. Gave quote one day and completed work next day.

Called and left a message to get an estimate on removing 9 trees and grinding 10 stumps, Monday, July 22, 2013. At this writing on Thursday July 25, 2013, my phone call has not been returned.

Travis (owner) cut down a tree for my neighbor and we were very happy with the results and price. I called Kiker and scheduled an appointment for them to cut down some trees that were getting too close to our house. Travis was very responsive and came out quickly to give us a quote. We also had him look at topping another tree. With all the rain we are having it took them a while to get out here but when the did it was worth the wait. They took down the trees causing no damage to the house, they cleaned up the mess and left us a lot of mulch to use in our beds. The crew was fast and friendly. I price was great! I have already recommended Kiker to some of my friends. Will probaby call him for more work in the future myself.

They came when they said they would come with their team of men. The tall tree was a challenge, but one man climbed the tree, lopping off the branches and then had to cut it piece by piece so the tree wouldn't damage other trees or our home. They worked hard, were very professional, and left the place clean and tidy. I have no complaints. Good job!!

Called at 4:45PM Friday on a holiday weekend needing firewood for fireplace and Hickory wood for BBQ. Although Mr. Kiker's employees all had gone for the day and weekend, I had firewood at my house by 6:15PM. Great service! The wood was all seasoned and in great shape with the hickory separated from the other hardwoods. At last I think I've found the best source for my firewood.

It went well. They came, gave us an estimate and performed the services as requested. The yard was cleaned up, the driveway cleaned as well and all done in approximately two hours. They ground down the stumps and hauled everything away. Good job.

They were clean and professional. There was an additional charge for an extra limb that had to be cut down that I was not aware of. Don't know if I would use them again in the future.

Everything was done as promised and then some. The two large oaks removed were in the back yard with limited access for equipment (bucket truck). Two of the oaks trimmed were also located in the back yard with two large branches overhanging the house. The trimming of the oak in the front yard looks great. The magnolia was about 35 feet tall. The total job took about 7 hours including clean up. Kiker has done other work in our neighborhood and has a good reputation for both quality of work and price. Consequently, I had only one other estimate which was significantly more.

We have used them before and they do a good job. We didn't have any trouble scheduling. They come with a lot of equipment to get the job done right. They also brought 7 guys.

Great service- ordered one day and received the next. Nice seasoned wood.

He was very good, took care of everything and did an excellent job. We were so happy to get that tree down. He gave us the quote and did the job while we were on vacation and we were pleased with his work. We came back from vacation and found everything had been done. I thought the price was quite reasonable and he was really what we needed.

It was a piece of cake. Showed them where to stack and they were done in 10 minutes.

I used Kiker Tree to trim back numerous large trees. They did a great job making everything look good. They were on time and their price as good. This is my second experience with Kiker Tree. Previously I had a tree removed and a stump ground. Again thier service was great. I'd definately use them again.

- Reached out to Travis as I had received his information from the pool company we were dealing with. - Researched his ratings on Angies list before moving forward with the service - Travis and team were very responsive, professional and curtious. - Price was great and much lower than other quotes I received. -When i would call to confirm date changes due to the significant rain we were getting he always picked up, or responded immediately. - Once he arrived he asked about the long term intentions we had for the yard, and based on this he also gave recommendations on what to clear and maybe what to leave knowing what my overall plans were with the backyard. - Job took about 8 hours to clean and clear. - Stumps were grinded, underbrush and trees were cleared, trees were trimmed up and site was cleaned up (backyard and driveway) - We also had a birch tree in the front that had branches rubbing against the house and they trimmed that up at no additional charge. - Overall highly recommended, and we have past their name onto multiple people.

Kiker Tree Stump Removal was reasonably priced with their estimate and completed the job within the fair estimated price. They communicated by phone an expected time and they were punctual on their arrival and were thorough and complete with removing my giant oak stump. They did a very professional job. I highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use their services in the future when needed.

They were really good. They were prompt, they cleaned up, and they did the job on time. I was very pleased with them. They were professional and it was a really good value. I only interacted with the owner but he was nice and helpful.

I called for seasoned firewood. The gentleman was polite and assured me I would "get a truck load of good firewood." He came to my house, unloaded, and stacked the wood in the backyard. As I've been using it, most of the wood is seasoned (crackles and burns hot) and some is not so much seasoned (sizzles, smolders). But, overall, I got what I paid for. I will use them again, but I will order the wood in May or June for next winter's fires!

They were here within an hour of my call and the wood is very high quality compared to other companies we have used in the past.

Called and talked to a very polite gentleman who delivered my 1/2 chord of wood within a couple of hours. Arrived and stacked very neatly and was very friendly and courteous. Not only that...but the wood is well seasoned and lit easily! (Plus, a small antler was amongst the wood which my boys found to be quite the treat!!) Will definitely call again!!

It went well as expected, having used them before as have others in my neighborhood and area. They generally estimate a general time frame. The area is left very clean. My only regret-having to lose the tree which I had nurtured for 14 years. Wrong plant-wrong place! I did not compare prices.

They are usually very quick unless there is a storm and they can?t come out. They have done quite a bit of work for us. We moved into a home and had some dead trees that we wanted removed which included a really big tree in our backyard. They are very down-to-earth and honest. It?s not a big company. The man who owns the company comes to the job. I personally like all of that instead of dealing with a big company. They are dependable and reasonably priced too. I don?t think I?d have them come and do a finely manicured home. We had a wooded area in the back and they took the tree and stump down. If there was something extra that they saw they just did it. There was also a little tree that was dead that they took out. They are really good for our needs as they do a variety of things. If I wanted a tree that was cut to be cut further for firewood they would do that. They are great. I have recommended them to neighbors too.
