Air Central did an awesome job. Vance came out with an estimate and was able to schedule the installation within a couple of days to fit my schedule. They replaced my downstairs unit a month ago and did such a great job I immediately called them when my upstairs unit quit. I had a bid from another HVAC company which was much higher. The other company even commented on the quality of the downstairs unit installation. I think that says it all!

It turned out well. They came out 3-4 days after I purchased the deal.

The technician seemed to know what he was doing. Scheduling was fine. There was one technician here doing the work and he did a fine job.

This is an excellent company to work with. They are flexible in scheduling, easy to contact and very responsive to special requests. Since in addition to our primary residence, they do this service on rental property we own, we have asked that they schedule these service calls all in one day, for our convenience. They have worked with us on this and been very accommodating on the date; letting us choose what works best. This is a smaller family-owned business and almost has the feel of a friend coming out to your house. They are experienced and knowledgeable in their trade, honest and ethical. I will certainly use them again.

He took the time to evaluate our A/C system to verify if there were any issues, fortunately, there were none @ the present time. We signed .up with Air Central for a service agreement. His office called in the afternoon to set-up an appointment for our first trip to service the A/C system. Very pleased with the company for their prompt response time, very appreciated.

I called in the evening Tuesday and John came out Wednesday afternoon. They even called me to tell me that they were running late so that i wouldn't have to leave work any earlier than necessary! John diagnosed the problem, went to the shop to get my blower, returned, repaired it AND went above and beyond and repaired the exhaust pipe and checked under and in the house for CO. Despite running to the shop to get the blower, John did NOT charge me a gasoline upcharge! Excellent job. Both Emily (on the phone) and John (on the phone and in person) were professional, friendly and competent!

It went great. Wes and his team were awesome. Those guys worked so hard, and were so good at what they did. We have a very tiny crawlspace, filled with wires, and pipes, and all kinds of old bits and pieces. They had to measure and custom build a rigid (hard) duct system to fit throughout the lower level basement and crawl space. These new ducts would be servicing the entire first floor. First floor is about 1800-2000 square feet, and about 15 registers that bring the air into the room. This is an old house and less than perfect working conditions. I would hire these guys to do anything. We now have awesome, clean, insulated, hard aluminum, cleanable, non-sagging, non-crush-able, duct work. They also did some work on the unit (part that provides heat and cold) because it is also old. I don't recall exactly what but it works now.

we did our homework and had at least 6 quotes from the big name companies to individuals. It wasn't until I finally joined Angie's list and found Air Central that when we knew we had located the right company to do the work. Wesley came to our home and both my husband and I knew when he left that we would select Air Central for the job. The job: Replace our current HVAC and the original duct work in our 1973 built home. The estimate wasn't the highest bid and it wasn't the lowest....but it was fair and with the reviews on this company, we both thought it was fair and a good price for the work. We scheduled the job the week of Thanksgiving...which if anyone remembers that week in 2013, was one of the coldest the Charlotte area has seen around here in years. Wesley promised the job would start on Monday and they would be finished by Wednesday afternoon. And they delivered.!!!!...by Wednesday evening, we were turning on the unit and had warm heat. Our 2nd floor was the most comfortable I had ever experienced and I have lived in my home my entire life. The job was not without its bumps (as you can imagine with a 1973 home). Wesley's crew identified that our home did not have sufficient air flow to the 2nd floor, so they called a contractor who worked with the Air Central team and helped design a plan to install more duct work to our 2nd floor. I just knew there would be more cost, but Wesley said their estimate was firm and they would complete the additional work without extra cost. We were very impressed by their professionalism with all of the crew members. Every day, they cleaned up, vacuumed the floors and left our home without a trace of everything going on. They system that was installed (American Standard Heat Pump) did have some new technology and did need some tweaking after the installation, but every time we called tAir Central, someone was here that day getting it done. I would recommend Air Central to any of my friends and family and also to Angie's list customers looking for an HVAC contractor.

What an extraordinary experience. When my other two units die - I will be happy to contact Air Central. Please give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

Our heater quite working on a Sat. evening. I contacted them Sunday morning and John came out within two hours, with no premium charged for a Sunday, and had it running in less than an hour.

I came home from work one day and my air conditioning was not working. Because of the reviews on Angie?s List, I called Air Central of the Carolinas. They were prompt, courteous and professional. They determined that the motor was not working, but they did not have the correct motor in the truck and could not replace it that day, so they came back first thing in the morning when it was available and replaced it. The technician worked up the bill and said it might be cheaper if I got their yearly inspection package. But after figuring it out, he determined it would be cheaper without the inspection plan, which I thought was very honest because he could have charged me more by selling their inspection plan. Unfortunately when I got home that night from work, the air conditioning was not working again. They came back out and determined that the brand new motor was bad (being in the automotive repair industry for many years, I know this actually happens with new parts more often that one would think, especially with motors like alternators and starters). The technician ordered a new motor from a different manufacturer, and came and installed it as soon as it was in. I would highly recommend this company.

I can not say enough good things about Air Central of the Carolinas. They were extremely responsive and very helpful in getting our HVAC in shape to sell our house. When we needed them to come out to the house quickly before an inspection they were able to accommodate us. Duane was very helpful and great to work with. I would highly recommend them.

Everyone was exceptionally knowledgeable, professional and timely. The gentleman who gave us the estimate sat with us and answered dozens of questions so that we could understand the process and our options. The installers were efficient and neat.

After getting several quotes, we decided to go with Air Central Of the Carolinas. Wesley Breece gave us options to choose from that would best meet our budget and yet heat and cool our home efficiently being that it was a zoning system. He was straightforward and honest about the product and installation. While waiting for the new unit to come in, Wesley made sure that we didn't go without cool air in our home. He personally came out on a rainy afternoon, and temporarily repaired our old unit at no cost to hold us over. Air Central's team was prompt, courteous, and worked diligently for 2 days, one in the rain. They removed the old crawl space duct work and replaced it with new, enlarged our downstairs return, and installed the new unit. Air Central's technicians also took time to carefully explain the new Honeywell thermostat. They were very professional and kind, and made sure that our yard was left neat and clean. It is very obvious that these gentlemen work as a team! On another note, due to all the rain, our daughter's car had gotten stuck in the yard, and they kindly used some of their equipment to pull it out. Now that's service and with a smile. It's hard to find this kind of work ethic today, but I can honestly say that Air Central's team bar none!

I can't say enough good things about this company. When the AC went out on my upstairs unit, which was 24 years old, I first spoke with the company that had replaced my downstairs unit. I felt like I needed additional quotes and found 2 companies on Angie's List with A ratings. After meeting with Wesley of Air Central, I knew this was the company I would use. I was first impressed by the fact that Wesley was the only one to come up with a solution to the noise level of the upstairs unit. The unit had been installed in the attic next to the return register. The noise level was horrible. He suggested adding additional duct work and moving the unit over about 6 feet. Although the unit is not totally quiet, which is impossible to accomplish, it is now so much quieter. In addition he offered to replace the burned out attic fan, when other companies had referred me to someone else. I was very impressed by Wesley's knowledge and professionalism. Air Central also uses American Standard, which has top reviews from Consumer Reports. Wesley came by after the unit was installed to make sure everything was done properly and that I didn't have any questions or concerns. I will be using this company for all my future Heating and AC needs.

Presentation and suggestions for what models and systems they recommended were excellent, price was lowest of the three we received and installation went perfectly. They supplied a great system for a great price and had professional and expert workers and offered lots of help and tips and advice, so you can't beat that anywhere! Highly recommend.

The crew arrived as scheduled Saturday morning. They laid drop cloths on the areas of our carpeting where they would be walking. They were professional, polite and very efficient. By 2 p.m., the air conditioning unit outside and the heat exchanger in the the attic were replaced. Everything was clean and they left no empty cartons or packaging anywhere. They spent time showing us how to program the new thermostat and answer all our questions. I hadn't liked the thermostat that they usually put in with this unit, so they went out their way to pick up two other options and let us choose if we wanted to upgrade. We didn't think it was possible to still get the kind of service that Air Central provides and we were thrilled that there was not a single glitch in the process! We would highly recommend this company to anyone and will definitely use their services again when the need arises.

Our AC was not blowing cool air so I called Air Central mid afternoon on a Friday. They were very responsive and arranged to have someone come out that afternoon. Dwayne arrived at the estimated time and knew immediately what the issue was. We were low on freon, he charged and the unit was cooling again within minutes. Dwayne was very professional and friendly. I will certainly use them again when needing AC work.

, I contacted three different air conditioner companies for an estimate to install a new upstairs unit. I was immediately impressed by the polite and quick response that I received from Air Central. After receiving three estimates, I went with Air Central. Not only were they the best price, but they were professional, punctual, and cleaned up so well that you would not have known any work had been done. I am extremely pleased with their responsiveness and the quality of their work. I would recommend them highly and will call them again without hesitation!

Went with AIR CENTRAL (AC) due to Wesley and his responsiveness. Had narrowed down to two quotes but went with a better quality unit as AC worked with us on price. They took the time to explain what we were getting and what they would do. Every time I called, it was returned very quickly. To me the true test of a company is how they respond when things do not go as planned. While issues we had were minor and not their fault AC and Wesley were professional and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. When we have to replace next unit we will use Air Central. I highly recommend them.

Dwayne was very responsive, honest, reliable and professional and did what he could to get the A/C unit running again as quickly as possible. The fan needed to be replaced, but it wasn't apparent at first since it wouldn't make the grinding sound when Dwayne first came by. Luckily he was patient and after trouble shooting figured out the issue was the fan, which was a less expensive repair than a motor so I was happy. The office staff is friendly and helpful as well. I would definitely recommend them to others!

My experience was over the course of 2 days. My air conditioner had been functioning poorly for some time. I called Air Central to come look at it. A tech came out to my house that afternoon. He was very nice, and knowledgable, but was unable to make repairs that day due to lack of parts. I have an older unit, so the part had to be ordered. Another tech came out the next day to fix my ac. The tech that came to service my unit was punctual and very courteous. He replaced the fan motor within just a few minutes. After getting the fan back together and the freon refilled, he stayed for a bit to make sure everything was running smoothly and that the unit was cooling as it should. I was very great foul to the company for being so prompt and going above and beyond the call of duty to find the part I needed. Thank you again Air Central!

Owner, Vance Breece, is very knowledgeable, personable and conscientious as are all of his employees that I worked with. They do quality work and it is very apparent that customer satisfaction is very important to them. The appointment was set up quickly ... the technicians came on time and they were very punctual, respectful, efficient and polite. They explained everything they were doing in detail so that I understood and the price was very good when compared to other providers. They were very professional and honest and did the work quickly and efficiently. They are a well run business. I am so grateful to know that there are companies that don't encourage over-selling or over charging! I value the relationship that I have estaablished with this excellent company and plan to use Air Central Services in the future. Highly impressed! Class act guy at a class act company. First rate!
