I called Air central when our heat went out last week! Wes quickly responded with a phone call to set up an appointment. He came out the next day was on time and professional. He Educated me on the issue and the best Options. He worked me up a estimate while at my residence. We decided to get two other companies to come out and get prices to ensure we got the best price for the best quality. After doing so we decided that we were more impressed with Wes and air central then the other companies. I called Wes and told him we would like to move forward. The next day he brought out a few space heaters to keep us warm until the equipment could be ordered and job done. 4 days later due to equipment shortages they arrived on time in uniform and was nothing but professional. They did my new furnace in one day. The job was so clean and neat. Wes came by went over everything that was done and was so nice. I couldn’t imagine what we would have done with all the help we received from Wes and his guys. I would highly recommend him and his team for anyone’s HVAC needs. Great customer service. Great price. Great guys. Thank you Wes and air central you are my go to guys for anything HVAC related.

Installed a new system. Great experience with Wesley and his team. Thanks for the great work and professional crew. The company even has supervisors that check over the crews and work to ensure quality. Alex took his time to make sure I could work my new system. Extremely Inpressed.

Terrible. Overcharged for reinstalling thermostats. Did not inspect air handlers for damage or check filters left ash and fire gunk in the units. Put filters in air returns instead of units. Claimed a leak in new a/c, there was none. Negligent.

It was great! On a Saturday too!! Dwayne was very professional and got the job done in hardly no time. The best part was how excited he was to be able to fix the issue for us, showing that he cares about helping people out. I will be doing business with this company again (but hopefully i wont have to anytime soon) :)

Perfectly. We replaced our electric cooktop with a new gas cooktop, so we needed to have gas extended into the kitchen, center island. Scott and his team were on time, the job was done neatly and efficiently and the cooktop gas works perfectly. Scott is a pleasure to work with and is extremely responsive if there are any questions or issues. He also personally made sure the inspections were done and the permit was properly recorded and closed. Highly recommend!

I finally signed up for an HVAC service agreement after years of assuming it was a waste of money. It took a few different friends and family members to talk me into seeing the value in this service and setting up an appointment. I compared Air Central of the Carolinas to one of the nationwide companies and ultimately chose this company due to having good reviews and being local. I am extremely satisfied with my decision and plan on renewing the service agreement as years progress. My interaction consisted of two appointments: 1. Initial service agreement inspection. At this appointment, the technician inspected and cleaned/touched up everything. He was very knowledgeable and explained the ins and outs of everything. Once again, further reinforcing the value of this service. During the appointment, I explained that we have been having an issue with the system and the tech identified a thermal valve that needed to be replaced. This led to setting up appointment #2 later in the week. 2. Replacing Thermal Valve - This appointment was made very quickly as soon as they procured the necessary parts. The technician arrived on time and replaced the valve in a timely manner. Our system is running much more effectively now. I'd like to point out that the pricing is very competitive with the other companies and every person I've spoken with has been extremely friendly and knowledgeable. It goes a long way when you can tell that they want to make sure you understand everything as opposed to doing the work and leaving.

We called air central to come look at a 20 year old unit at my mothers house knowing it needed to be replaced. Mr. Breece made his recommendations and provided an immediate quote on the spot. We talked about options and they even offer financing if needed. We signed up and the next week Alex and his crew showed up. Alex is a star employee and was very polite and helpful, you could tell that he really cares and enjoys working for Mr. Breece. They are now going to be installing an ductless mini split in my garage. I have given out their number to countless friends and they are all extremely satisfied. I know who to call when i want an honest opinion and a fair price.

Awful. I have used company for years for service and check ups. We have known the family and have always used this company for the check ups. They have always been fair and we have been able to communicate amicably. However when our heat went out we called them and needed service. Our service representative was Kevin and he was great. Nice and professional . But our motor had went out and it was going to be about 1000.00. So because we have been paying this amount about every other year and the unit probably needed to be fixed. The discussion was it was going to be roughly 6-7000. to replace. It is very hot in Charlotte now and they could not get out to us for a couple weeks . So they brought us 2 small air conditioners to use .Dwane one of the owners son brought them out and was very pleasant and professional. The other son was supposed to come out the next day to give us options. He came out and at the very first start was rude came in did not even speak nodded his head. Went to the unit . Did not go under the house I watch his legs did not go under the house. Stayed outside about 15 minutes and started saying all the things we needed to get to code and all the repairs that needed and before it was over our estimate was 10,000. I could not believe it I told him that is a ridiculous estimate. He got up mumbled words and left with a major attitude. After about 15 minutes we got a call saying they were coming to get the little .5 but air conditioners. My husband told the office we were just going to let them fix the old unit. They hung up angrily. I am appalled that they got so angry at us over us refusing to pay their estimate. Note my husband has MS and is in a wheel chair and cannot take heat. This customer service ws totally inappropriate. We have since had a new evaluation that is much less and our unit is not against code and is up to date and what the first person said was just trying to rip us off. Approximate cost of service: $10000.0 update 9/8/2020: I am writing an addendum to the answer to our quote . It was more of the complaint than just the quote .It was how you responded to our service. It was your service Wes . What I stated is that Kevin and Dwaine were both professional and courteous . You however came into our home with an attitude and was very unprofessional and I made the comment and I stick by it your dad would turn over in his grave if he knew how you had come across to us . You were rude and had no other conversation with us .You came in and gave an unacceptable rate . You did not even go under the house I watched you. Maybe it is because we had never dealt with you before and maybe you are always like this with customers. But you were not professional . You did not even want to speak with us about the repair after we told you your price was too high . You wanted to cut into our foundation and make a new entrance and other changes that were inappropriate . You just started adding stuff and we would still be with out air because it was going to be 2 weeks.. Regardless of the way the other two gentlemen acted you were out of line and if you can live with what you did and how you acted than you will have to answer to a higher power. You came in half hour late and did not even want to do what you were doing. You were wrong period . Regretfully You have shown a type of business that I would not associate with your previous business . You are not a success you are a viper. Updated 9/21/2020 Bad, but I just wanted this added because everything that Air Central was trying to charge us for passed inspection with no problem and the county inspector came last week. So my complaint was justified .That is what our biggest complaint was about. This is what their reasoning was for wanting to charge so much. Bear in mind we had Union Electric Membership To put in our unit. Much more professional and easy to work with. Thank you for your time and attention.

Air Central was not only professional and timely when they arrived. They helped me sort through issues I had for years that other companies wouldn't or couldn't fix. I have had multiple AC companies in the past and I would never hire anyone else. On top of that when we received quotes they weren't the cheapest but they weren't the most expensive either. So I talked in depth with them on why they quoted the system at this price? They explained everything from Variable speed, to 15 seer and my indoor air filter that uses bipolar ionization. I would recommend them to anyone.

Wesley and his crew is very knowledgeable, professional and he didn’t try to sell me something that I didn’t need. I thought his price was fair comparing with my five other quotes. I highly recommend this company if you need a replacement.

One of my AC units quit blowing cool air. I called at 7AM and they were at my house by 10:30. Since my units are a bit older I didn't know what to expect. My service repair guy was great, did a complete check of both units and said that I just need additional coolant added. I will definitely use these guys again in the future.

This company is all about it's customers. I needed to have my heat pump replaced and was scheduled for surgery. Wesley decided that I needed to have the work done prior to the upcoming surgery so that I could recuperate at home without all the distraction of the noise during the removal of the old unit and the installation of the new one. The date was set, the installation started on time and was completed in one day as promised. The installers were very knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. .. although there was a slight hiccup when the inspection was done, the problem was corrected on the same day the inspection was done and upon re-inspection the next day, it passed. I highly recommend this company for your heating and A/C needs. I will be recommending this fine family-owned & operated company to all my friends.

Our ac unit was cycling on and off quickly and needed to be checked. Contacted Air Cental of the Carolinas based on AL reviews and the coupon, I called Monday morning, and they were able to fit us in that day. Kevin, the serviceman, had several appointments to make, which pushed his time to us later in the day. The company was excellent at calling to reassure us that he would be there, then Kevin called when he was on his way. At 6:50 pm after a long hot day, Kevin arrived, he was incredibly kind and professional. He did a thorough job of inspecting our system and getting it working again, he also spent time explaining things about our system to my husband. I could not ask for better service from both the office and Kevin, thank you!!

I called, and got Emily on the phone immediately, she was very cordial and efficient. She had Lynn out for an estimate as soon as possible and I felt it as reasonable and fair. The installation was scheduled within a few days, everyone was professional and skilled in what they did and I would definitely recommend Air Central to my friends and family.

I called Air central for an estimate. Wesley the owner showed up within 24 hours to give me a quote. I was happy with the quote and hired him on the spot. They came two days later and installed me a new American Standard high-efficiency system. Which I couldn’t be any happier with. Wesley really knows customer service, he not only came two days later when most companies said it would be 10-12 days he brought me two window units to keep my house cooling unit he got there. I would highly recommend Air central and Wesley to everyone in need of any hvac needs. Thank you Air central for exceeding my expectations.

Air Central did not submit a warranty claim to the manufacturer as they promised to do, and after they billed me they claim they couldn't get through to the manufacturer's dealer line. I can get through to this line myself, but the HVAC licensee is required to file the warranty paperwork. Air Central never filed a claim, according to Lennox, and was supposed to file to be reimbursed by Lennox in the first place rather than being paid by myself. The unit was well under warranty and there never should have been a cost to replace if deemed irreparable. Note that Air Central also refused to break out charges for me for labor, parts, etc. I expect they will respond that it's been 11 months since the job was done - I was foolish enough to trust them to do the right thing eventually and kept asking for their help over the course of several months. They will also point out I sold the townhouse a few months ago - any lawyer would opine that this issue survives any sale because they didn't do what they were supposed to do and committed to do (which is evidenced in writing).

Air Central showed up on time, was very professional, explained things in a way I could understand and fixed my system for a reasonable price. The technician, Kevin, demonstrated excellent knowledge of HVAC systems and showed great customer service. I was so impressed that I asked about their maintenance program and signed up! Highly Recommend.

We are very pleased. Our second floor air conditioner stopped working during a very hot period of time and on a weekend. Air Central sent a technician the same day we called. The unit needed to be replaced as it was 16 years old and not functioning. A sales rep came the next day and provided our options and costs. Within a day, a team was sent to install our new unit with an outstanding work ethic and professionalism. We would recommend to others based on our awesome experience.

Efficient, clean, and punctual. Our first unit (16 years old) went out, and Air Central was able to complete our job within a few days. They lent us two window units for bedrooms while we waited. A day after install, our downstairs unit stopped blowing cold air (30 years old). The unit was completely empty of coolant and had a massive leak. Considering the age, we went ahead with replacing it as well. Air Central installed the NEXT day, and submitted Duke energy rebate applications for us (worth $425/unit). Wesley, Lynn, and their team were a pleasure to work with.

It's the Friday before Memorial weekend, and I was sitting in a sauna. After calling AirCentral, Kevin was at my door within 2 hours. He walked me through every step of the process of cleaning and filling my ancient AC, and helped me find solutions within my budget. As I write this, I am sitting in my once again cool home and very grateful to have found AirCentral on Angie's List. Thanks Kevin!!

Kevin was our service technician. He was very professional and informative and gave us information on each step of the service. He was a very good representative of this business. This business is an good and honest business and this technician was awesome. Good work for Air central for hiring great service employees.
