My A/C unit froze and Wesley came out immediately. They added freon and my A/C service was back on immediately. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to friends and family.

They came in, did the job, very professional, worked hard. Very nice people. I would use them again in the future.

i found Vance and his son Wesley to be extremely professional, courteous, knowledgeable and honest in all aspects of the service call from the initial phone conversation to their departure and follow-up. We set up an approximate time, they called to confirm their time of arrival on the appointed day, and were right on target. After a quick explanation of the problem, they worked together to evaluate our system. As they discussed alternatives, potentially requiring a complete replacement/reconfiguration of our system (which was previously recommended to us by someone else, who also referred us to Vance), their thorough examination led them to find a relatively minor internal duct problem, and they fixed it within minutes. I know nothing about HVAC systems. They could have easily sold me a partial or complete re-work of our system. However, their knowledgeable examination of our problem and honest approach to their business led them to a quick, very inexpensive solution. i would not hesitate to give Vance and Wesley my highest recommendation to anyone. They were great!

The ease of contacting the company, the respect and helpful helpful questions helped to identify the issue. A new pump was required. Dwayne assured me that the system was in good order and that I should not have any further problems.

Overall, things went extremely smoothly and they were able to complete the work in a timely fashion leaving no trace of their work. We were fortunate that we had the work done during a "cool" spell in June, but still appreciate their professional and dedicated work. At no time did we feel they were rushing to get to the next job or "get it done."

Excellent service. A/C didn't work on a Sunday and no other companies where open. They took the call and where at my house quickly, performed the necessary service in a very professional manner. Having a small baby, I was worried about having to spend one night without A/C, but with their help, unit was up and running quickly. Thank you!

My experience with Air Central of the Carolina's was very positive.I had 4 estimates/proposals from AC companies, their estimate was very detailed and fair for the work being done. Wesley answered al of my quesitons and returned calls quickly. We set a date for the work June 11th and they were on time and careful with my home and all of my belongings. Vance (owner) came out with the team to help and ensure the work. I was very pleased and the system seems to be working well. Vance took the time to help make sure I knew how to work the new thermostats and understod the system. Everyone seemed to know their business and products very well and were friendly and helpful.

After not getting straight answers from many different HVAC companies, I decided to try Air Central of the Carolinas. I called Wesley and he was over the next day. He did not try to up sell me anything and showed me many different options on replacing my upstairs system. He knew what he was talking about and we felt very comfortable with him. Since our unit was not working, he volunteered to put freon into it for FREE to hold us over until he could put the new unit in. Having cold air for that next 2 weeks was great! Install day came and the guys showed up at 9, and were done by 1. They went above and beyond everything they were supposed to do and it feels so good to have cold air in my house. I now have a new HVAC company that I trust and I can rely on in the future. I appreciate Wesley and Vance and all they did to make sure my family was comfortable and taken care of.

We could not have asked for a more qualified, professional team than Air Central of the Carollinas. From the time their guys arrived until the unit was installed and running, the experience was quite smooth and orderly. Their guys covered our floors and were most careful about the furniture and our pets as they removed the old system from the attic. They had a really tough job because our attic is packed to the hilt and they so graciously moved all the "junk" around to do what they needed to do. The guys they employ--Charlie, Jim, Zack, and Michael-- are all professional and courteous. They got right to work and did not stop until everything was completed. When the job was done, they checked all our vents to make sure everything was working properly and cleaned up all the debris created in removing and installing the new system. Vance Breece explained the features of the new thermostat and made sure we knew how to program it properly before leaving. We have used this company for several years and cannot begin to tell you of their expertise and workmanship. Because of their "know-how" our system lasted as long as it did. When another major company in Charlotte told us years ago that we needed a new system, Vance Breece was able to repair our furnace for a very small cost. Vance and Wesley and their entire team are HONEST. They do not try to sell you a new system if the existing one can be repaired. I do not know what we would have done without their help when we could not afford a new system. They are understanding and truly care about their customers. To prove the quality of their work, we have neighbors who have had a new system installed within the last couple of years and they constantly have the company come back out for repairs. This is not the case with Air Central--it is installed right the first time and it works to perfection. Once they complete your job, you won't need them anytime soon. We stand behind this company 100% because we KNOW what they can do and they do it with pride and integrity. For this very reason so many customers have experienced the same outstanding results we have thus awarding Air Central of the Carolinas the prized Angie's List Super Service Award for several years. Our upstairs air conditioning unit is not functioning properly. This company lists that their hours are 24/7 so I called at 8:50PM. The gentleman that answered the phone explained that it's not really 24/7, he'd only come out for emergency situations (i.e. if it was 100 degrees outside).

Duane was able to come out on a Saturday within two hours of being called. He quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem. He was extremely nice to deal with. I would recommend him to anyone.

Overall I am very Happy with my Experience with AC Central. The cleaning went very well. AC has never been cleaner. The air condition gets extra cool now Due to the Cleaning! I used to have to keep my temperature on 70 in order to feel a little cool now I can keep it on 74/75 degrees i get the same results!!

When we got up on the morning of 7/22, we found our downstairs AC unit was not working. I checked Angie's list and Air Central was able to add us to the schedule for a same day repair. They arrived that afternoon and found the problem quickly. They replaced the main circuit board & the unit was soon working again. They even topped off the coolant levels at no extra charge. They were very professional and explained what was wrong in terms we could understand. The price was reasonable and the service was great!

They were very responsive and came out fast. We had our own consultant who explained all the issues and they were fine. They were very thorough. We used them another time before. I think their price was fair.

I chose a different company simply because of my past experience with the other company

It was a very busy time of year for them, with their main business in heat/air. My project was small, but they made time for it and made sure the inspector was there to check their work. I appreciated all the attention they were able to offer me until my project was finished.

We bought a new house that we knew had broken AC units. We received a credit at closing to repair them, but decided the money was better put towards a new system, rather than repair a 22 year old inefficient system. We got several quotes, and Air Central was the 2nd lowest. But they seemed the most knowledgeable and answered all of our questions, especially regarding the efficiency of the system (mainly - if we only replaced what was broken, would we get getting maximum efficiency from the new units, even when they were trying to work wtih the older system). The answer was no, we would not gain maximum efficiency, but there as no hard sell for us to completely upgrade - only information that allowed us to make our own decision. When we did finally make a decision, we called to schedule, and when they found out that we had since moved in to the house (at the time we'd gotten the quote, we hadn't moved in yet), they moved us up to that same week for installation. The installation went flawlessley - they even cut larger vents than we had in our bonus room and bedroom. Afterwards, they sent us everything we needed for our rebates from Duke and PNG.

What can I say? Dwayne is THE MAN! Called Tuesday morning because our air went out Monday night. Dwayne was dispatched to our house. He could have been there at 12:30, but since I was at work, I asked if he could come later in the afternoon. He called en route and my AC was working again by 6:00PM! Awesome service!!! When it comes time to replace my aging equipment, I will definitely give them a call. I had called some of the larger AC businesses in Charlotte, but they wanted me to wait several days for service. 95 degree Charlotte heat is too much, especially for my pregnant wife. After coming back from a weeks vacation to a Hot house on a 95 degree day...We called Air Central on Saturday night and got their answering machine and then called the "emergency" number they had on the voice mail. The owner picked up right away and gave the phone to his son Duane who said he would call me Sunday morning and come over. He called us in the morning, came over by noon and added 2.5 lbs of Freon to the unit, cleaned it and checked to make sure it was running up to par again. Friendly, knowledgeable and affordable...my kind of company!

My phone call was handled promply and pleasantly. Dwane called en route, showed up on time, got right to work, provided all requested service, got both systems "optimized" and working flawlessly. Neat, clean, explained in clear language what he did, why and what we may encounter in future of our 12 year old systems. Price quite reasonable for time, skill and effort. Dwane had already put in a full day, weather hot and humid, but Dwane was still sharp and pleasant.

They are very good. Vance Breece is the owner. I think his company is four or five years old. They are just super good when it comes to heating and air conditioning. They are very dependable. Unfortunately we did not know him when we installed a new air conditioner but he has done numerous jobs for us and for people we know. He has helped my daughter and son-in-law. We have referred him to a lot of people. Once My husband talked to him over the phone about a problem we were having and he told my husband what to do and my husband did it and it saved a service call. He is just great. The price was far better than other quotes. They are professional. They are very friendly people. We would absolutely use them again in the future.

I needed to relocate my furnace in order to open up the kitchen. The Air Central team came to give me an estimate. They took pictures and videos and gave me an excellent quote on the work. Once they arrived to do the work, they knew what to do and how to do it. They were so conscientious and even sent a plumber from the company out on Saturday to look at the install to be sure all was well. I am very satisfied with the work and would recommend them. I felt like they treated my project as if they were doing this for a friend. They really cared that it was done right.

I was impressed with Dwayne, who came out to assess the job. He gave me a tentative price for the job, but lowered it after explaining the room and logistics to his Dad, who owns the company. It was a very good price, lower than the other company's estimate. But then he discounted it another $25 since I am an Angies List member. They worked with me on date and time, as I had a lot going on that week. So offered to do it on Saturday, which helped me a lot. They were punctual for the appointment, and finished the entire job in about an hour. They represent what professionism is all about. I was very impressed with their efficiency and quality of work.

They did a great job. They were honest and upfront with everything. They explained everything. There were not any hidden charges and everything was upfront. They even gave me financing options. I got several quotes and they were the only one that actually pointed out things that needed to be done. It seemed like the other guys didn't want to do that much work. Their work was very clean and they cleaned up all their mess and didn't leave anything behind that they shouldn't have. I was very pleased overall. I didn't have any heat in my house because I had an oil furnace and I didn't turn it on because it was too expensive to run and I didn't have air conditioning. I can tell a major difference. It is really, really nice and I love it. They were high priced but I feel like I got what I paid for and it was worth it. My dad and brother had used them and I felt comfortable with them. I wasn?t comfortable with any of the others. They were a little late but they called and it wasn?t a big deal to me. I had told them that I was flexible. I felt comfortable leaving them in my house.
