Description of Work: Repaired our heat pump, and they did excellent work.

Description of Work: I had new Air Conditioning units installed, new coils and a new heater installed. They were the best price around and they did a good job installing. There was one mistake with a location of outlet of flow with one of the units, but they came back the day after I called them about it and corrected it quickly. Overall, I was pleased with the job.

Description of Work: Very Pleased with Air Central. Had a complete system replacement. They carry the #1 rated system by Consumer Reports. Their price was very good. They arrived on time and finished the install in a single day. Got a follow-up visit by a manger to review the work. They coordinated my Duke Power rebate and County inspection. The process was painless and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: Checked my heating units and cleaned them up, plus changed the filters. I also needed a filter that the service rep didn't have with him, and he promised someone would drop one off at my house later in the week, which was done. I also signed up to have them check my air conditioning units in the spring to make sure they are in good working order.

Description of Work: Initially contacted by Wesley who was knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Purchased 2 new 18 seer heat pumps. Install took two days and everything is going well so far. Only complaint is that one of the units was installed slightly unlevel, however I am a perfectionist, so not sure how much stock one should put in that.

Description of Work: They replaced the entire A/C system for the second floor on my house. Although a bit pricier than other providers, I appreciated their honesty and quality of work. When I fact checked all their claims for need of certain replacement equipment, everything they recommended was accurate.

Description of Work: Vance Breece arrived as planned. He inquired as to what the problem(s) was and began his investigation. My AC was frozen again. I have literally paid for service (from another company) two to three times per season since I had the house built in 2006. Vance entered the crawl space examined the system then came into the house and examined the thermostat. It was wired improperly. The system is two phased and there was a jumper wire that tied the two phases together. He informed me he had never seen a system wired in such a manner; it would only run at about 10% efficiency and would cause the AC to freeze up. Just to be sure, he phoned the distributor, discussed it with him. Then satisfied, he made the necessary repairs. There was no effort to sell me something I didn't need and he explained everything in laymen's terms so I could understand it. I will endeavor to set a lasting relationship with his company. Recommend highly!

Description of Work: My husband and I were searching for a HVAC company to replace our 15 year old system that had finally bit the dust. We spoke with several companies but Air Central was extraordinary. I called to leave a message on a Satruday and the owner had called us back in 6 minutes! An appointment was scheduled and he arrived early and wore shoe covers into my home. I was impressed by this touch and told them so and they said my house is as their house and they always treated the customer like family. The whole crew was clean, professional and courteous. They were very concerned about keep things clean. During the excavation, a fine white dust filled the surface of the home. They hired a cleaning company to come out and clean the whole house free of charge! A most usual company and one that warrants your attention if you need a new system or even repairs. Description of Work: Wesley came out immediately when we had an AC problem. He was knowledgeable about our current system. He diagnosed the problem and gave us a temp fix until we could replace the old system. Their quote was competitive and their American Standard system sold itself. They came out yesterday, updated our duct work for better air flow and replaced our old HVAC unit. They did the work quickly and efficiently, but in a very professional manner.

Description of Work: Great flexibilty working through all the options to address 2 story home. Installed A/C and heat pump for 2nd floor. Cut in new registers in plaster ceiling and installed all new duct work. Kept me informed of any changes to plans/drawings. Worked me to maximize attic space for storage.

The work that was provided was completely quickly and efficiently. The quote that I was given was exactly what I was charged and I loved the discount that I received for being an Angie's List member. Air Central also saved me from having a heart attack when an unexpected problem was detected while servicing the AC unit. The problem was explained along with possible options. I was very happy when they were able to fix the problem immediately. I was so happy with their performance, I also signed a yearly maintenance agreement to service my A/C and heating unit.
