Our first pleasant experience was that Dave, not an answering machine, answered the call. He came on time, assessed the situation and went to work on the problem. He unplugged our yard drain and was finished in just over an hour. He has a great personality and gave great service.

Called Drain OK on a Thursday late afternoon. Dave was at my house less than 24 hours later. He worked diligently and made sure my toilet was free of leaks before he left (Dave had to rebuild the 'guts' of the toilet and the job took about an hour and 20 minutes). Dave's professionalism, attentiveness, & attention to detail are outstanding! I highly recommend Drain OK and will be using their services in the future.

He was prompt, friendly, and efficient. I will definitely use him again. I called on a Saturday and he was available to come that afternoon and he did not charge more for it being the weekend. Shockingly good. He had to come in and out of the house several times and he knocked every time, not wanting to intrude. He was very careful to not make a mess and clean up anything he did.

They actually responded when I called them. I haven't seen the work, it was on another property in a different city. So he just went and completed the work and the drain works now and my tenants are happy.

The service was first class. The technician arrived as promised. He immediately proceeded to explain the probable cause and the process to clear up the problem. Was very thorough in explaining possible causes and measures to take to avoid future problems. After going out about 60 feet found the obstruction and cleared it. He explained that he used a small blade initially, and would now use a bigger blade to further clear out the area. Technician was professional, personable and informative. Highly recommend!!

The plumber arrived on time, explained what he felt the problem was, and unstopped the drain. The plumber told me stories of his 28 years of experience. It took less than 15 minutes to finish the job. He told me to test the job with a garden hose before he left. He guaranteed his work for three months. He waived the $29 service charge since his drive to my house was less than one mile. In addition, he honored the 10% discount that was on Angie's List. I highly recommend using this contractor.

Excellent experience from start to finish with Dave and Drain OK, Inc. From scheduling the appointment quickly to going right to work when he arrived, Dave was professional and punctual. He took the time to examine the whole house drainage and understand the problem (also looking in the manhole in the street where our main drain line connected and also going in the crawlspace to examine pipes). Once we found where the issue was, he was hands-on all the way. He helped dig up the sewer/drain line cap that was buried in our landscaping (previous owners covered it up), brought out the snake and went to work. He found the blockage about 75 feet from our house and cleared it with the snake. Unfortunately the snake actually became caught in some tree roots that were causing the blockage in the main line, so Dave needed to take extra time to free it and finish the job. He didn't expect any more money for the work, even though it took much longer than expected and probably cost him other appointments elsewhere. For the amount of work Dave put into this job, it was definitely a great deal. Great guy, very personable and gets the job done. I plan to use him in the future for other plumbing issues that arise. I recommend him to anyone experiencing plumbing backups, etc.

Dave arrived within 90 minutes of my phone call. I should mention that Drain OK specializes in drain issues not general plumbing. He spent about 30 minutes trying the normal things you do to clear a drain problem: Long auger snakes that would reach down into the drain lines; plunging etc to no avail. He concluded it was either a clog further down the drain line or a venting issue. He was preparing to pull the toilet and put his power roter rooter machine to work (which would have upped by bill to about $225, when he tried one more thing; loosening the toilet mounting bolts and tipping the toilet to the side as he flushed.This let air into drain and resulted in a clean, normal flush.That confirmed that it was a venting issue, not a clogged drain problem.Fixing vent issues was beyond the scope of his services, so even though he had diagnosed the problem he was unable to offer a repair. He did offer to provide a referral to another plumber with a snake camera to find the blockage. {Vent pipes run inside the walls and up through the roof to vent fumes and provide air pressure behind the water).Total time spent: 1 hr. Total bill $125.That seemed a little high to me for the time invested, and no fix.But then again I haven't hired a plumber in maybe 15 years. Also, Dave does not work on a flat time basis, but on a job description basis. He is very upfront about his pricing and I approved the cost in advance. (and he DID save me about $100 by not pulling the toilet)With the problem pinpointed, I finished the fix myself by taking a garden hose up to the roof, sticking it down the vent pipe and running the water. Whatever was partially clogging the vent pipe was flushed into the drain pipe and the toilet now works correctly. I would happily recommend Drain OK to anyone with a drainage problem.

I recently had a pressure line on the water heater in my attic fail causing a leak which came down through my hallway ceiling. I made the call and Dave was at my house within the hour. He quickly resolved my problem and explained the nature of the leak which was a failure with a supply line connection. Approximately two years ago, a different plumber had been out for the same issue. That plumber replaced the line/connection with an inferior part to save time (as the connection he used did not require sweating). Dave replaced the line properly with the right part and placed a guarantee on it. In all I am very pleased with my experience and would recommend this company to anyone.

I called them yesterday and they were willing to come the same day, but I had to leave so they scheduled for today. They showed up time. They finished the services in less than an hour. I was very pleased with their services. They gave me a lot of information and even some information about what to do about the broken line. They were very professional. I will use them again.

Dave responded to my phone call and came on time between 1-3PM. He provided a written estimate which was for completion of the work and not the time to do the work. It took him several times with the rooter but he did open the drain after about an hour of hard work. At first I thought the price to be a little high but after I saw all that was involved it was money well spent. Dave is very professional. They did honor the discount for mentioning Angie's List. I definitely recommend! A nice touch is the work is guaranteed in writing for three months.
