I would rate them an A overall and would use them again if needed.

The overall work done was above expectations, the crew was very professional, punctual and neat.The follow up work to ensure the patio pavers were settled and filled in was done a bit later than expected, but this was minor in my view. The only issue is that the sod was laid over the water main to the house, and now I cannot locate it, again, not a major issue, but an inconvenience as I will have to find the location and cut away the sod at some point. The work was done on budget, in fact there was some additional items (Mulch and pine straw) which were above the estimated amounts needed which were done with no additional charge

Very satisfied with the service and will use again.

I used RB Landscaping for replacing the disaster of my backyard with new zoysia sod. The difference was amazing and they did a great job of grading the yard to make it smooth and level. Our neighbors were amazed at how good the bare dirt looked before the sod was even put down. Overall I am very pleased and would use them again and recommend them to my friends.

Ended up not needing the contractor as he suggested ways I could save money and do the work myself.

Overall, the company did what they were paid to do, on time. There weren't any problems with any employees. The grass looks really nice.

they do a great job however you may want to record the days they come and don't come. On two occasions I was billed for days that they did not come.

We took a long while planning our work and shopping for who to do it. RB Landscaping was one of a small number of recommendations we received from our designer. We are still reluctant to submit this review as more fixes are likely to be needed, but we figure it can't get any worse. We went to the nursery Rob works with to select three centerpieces for the planting. Right off the bat there were problems, as this vendor had very limited quantities of what we were seeking. It was not the sort of nursery we needed to be our supplier. The crew showed up as scheduled. Removal of the old vegetation was uncomplicated. Siting new plants was also quick as was the planting. That's when the problems began. There was very little amendment of the hard pack clay left by the builders taking away what little topsoil Nature had provided. We could go on at length, but suffice it to say that of 3 trees, one died within weeks because it was placed in a non-draining clay pit. I tried to get Rob to come back to correct the problem but he was busy elsewhere. By the time I decided to do this back breaking work myself, weeks had passed. The drainage I created was sub-optimal but effective. Unfortunately, it was too late for the tree and it continued to gradually wither over a few more weeks. Perennials in the garden were pretty much set on top of the pack. Even with regular watering, they barely heat of summer going from lush, foot wide specimens to tiny twigs with just a few leaves. The tree and some of the perennials have been replaced. Getting Rob back to do the job was no easy feat. Nothing was done to assure there would be no repeat of the problems. Despite abundant rain, the perennials already look bad. We'll see what's in store for the tree. Note that I have transplanted or added more than a dozen shrubs and dozens of perennials. My approach to soil amendment is hardly expert but, in a few years of tending this harsh plot, I've not lost a plant and all are thriving. I don't think it's asking too much to expect a landscaper will be at least as good as I am.

I sent RB an email asking if they serviced the area that I live in. The back side of Garner in the 40/42 area. I did receive an email back from Rebecca Ball, office manager, stating that she would check with the owner of the company and respond back. That was September 29, 2012. I have yet to receive back a phone call or email. At this point I will have to agree with the people who posted that they never got a reply.

I wanted to overhaul my plant beds completely. RB put together a planting plan and worked with me based on my plant selection preferences. I was very happy with the final plan. When the work was being done, I requested some last minute changes which included moving some existing plants. All my requests were taken care of. The finished product looked great.

We had an excellent experience with RB Landscaping. I received two other estimates from other companies and RB's was about the same as one and a little less than the other. We ended up choosing RB based on the positive reviews on Angie's List and because Rob seemed very easy to work with. My calls and emails were always returned within 24 hours and scheduled appointments were on time. After spraying (killing) our previous fescue lawn, Rob's team did a very thorough job of adding soil/compost, tilling and leveling our lawn. They ripped out all of our old, overgrown shrubs and trees (some very large), and added more soil and compost as needed. They then installed 'Compadre' Zoysia sod for an instant, beautiful lawn! The sod was really thick and of high quality. His team of workers were friendly, professional and very hard-working. They planted all new shrubs and trees according to our landscape plan, and were very patient working with me on placement and design. Rob definitely has a 'can do' attitude. He was willing to help us find the best solutions for our lawn and he had the experience to implement our ideas. I also think he was very fair on pricing and stayed true to his estimate.We are extremely happy with the job RB Landscaping did - our yard looks great!

They gave us a date that was initially several weeks out. We had to call to try and move the date closer.

Their service is fine. The personal treatment and the quality of the work that he does is just excellent. I have never had a problem. The prices are good. I would recommend him to anybody and I have recommended him to many people. Nothing has ever been a problem for him to come out and look at.

Their service is good. They are always on time. I never have a problem. They clean up and do a good job. Anytime I have a question he gets back to me right away.

They were much higher than the other estimates I received. They did get their estimate back to me within 24 hours.

Left message but got no response from RB Landscaping. I will look for someone else who will be more responsive to do my landscaping.

From the very beginning, Rob was extremely responsive. We had several quotes, but his was the first to come in, most detailed, most reasonable and exactly what we were thinking as far as design. He really listened to our needs and could see what we were trying to accomplish. Our only concern was with scheduling as we were scheduled for earlier in April and ended up not having work start until the end of April. However, when work began, his crew arrived promptly each day and worked hard until the job was completed. They dug everything by hand (trenches, patio, drains), reducing the amount of damage to our yard, and took care each day to leave the work space neat and tidy. Rob was available throughout to answer questions and go over the work being done. His attention to detail and his relationship with his crew made a huge difference in the quality of our work. We are so happy with our new outdoor space and really appreciate Rob's vision in making it happen!

I tried to call several times and always got an answering machine. Calls were not returned. Not very professional.

Rob was punctual and very pleasant. We didn't end up hiring him because his suggestions for tearing down the existing stacked stone walls (which we like) and replacing with hardscape walls and walkways would have been too large an investment for our home and neighborhood. We received an estimate very quickly (and professionally) for mulching and preparing 11 yards of bedding at $65 per yard. We declined because we wish to have one person do all our landscaping (mulching AND repairing our existing stone walls).

Rob is mostly responsive.. Very courteous. Prompt estimates via email. Does all work as promised. Very reasonable rates. Pleasure to work with.

From the very first phone call to the end result, this was an overall great experience! I knew what plants I wanted in the bed but I wanted someone else to do the work to get a professional appearance. Rob was very responsive to emails and phone calls. I first sent him my ideas and a photo of the area to be done. He then came out for a site visit and gave me advice and suggestions. His estimate was reasonable. We were added to his work schedule but then found out we were having family visit before that date. Rob was kind enough to come out and get the work completed prior to the family visit. They are due here tomorrow and I can't wait for them to see the improvement! I will not hesitate to use RB Landscaping in the future and I highly recommend them. Thank you so much, Rob!

Work was performed TIMELY. All work agreed upon was completed delivering a QUALITY finished product. Great SERVICE. Clean-up of drive way mid-job to allow for Halloween - ABOVE AND BEYOND.

This was an excellent experience. Robert was very punctual, pleasant and he listened to our concerns and issues patiently! As we have a number of home improvements that we need done immediately, we have decided to wait to go forward. We would certainly use his services, though, and happily recommend him to others!

Rob came out and did a walk around, explaining what made sense now and what made sense in the fall (ie. moving shrubs). Gave a fair estimate and adjusted since not all the mulch was needed. Professional crew came out on time, cleaned up, and our yard has NEVER looked better! Will use in the fall to complete the backyard projects after we get the concrete pad and sidewalks in. It is nice to find an honest, hardworking contractor.
