No Charge (normally $50.00+) Moving large furniture ....... No charge (Normally $50.00+) 3 hours free estimation in your home: ......... No charge Install vinyl plank laminate: 253 sq.ft. at $2.00/sq.ft. ....... $506.00 Deliver and install quarter round ....... $100.00 According to my phone records, all incoming phone calls from your number (9 calls in all between July 6 and Nov 28 were answered or returned promptly) I'm sorry that you feel you were over-charged, but the bill was actually at a discount from my normal prices. As for my punctuality and quality, my Angie's List reviews in prior to this review show that this is out of character for me. The job was done in a timely and professional manner and to your satisfaction. When you called to schedule the job, you suggested that I agree to a price of $500.00 and I told you at that time that it didn't sound correct, and I would check my notes. Over five months, several phone calls, two visits in your home to estimate, and several person to person conversations I feel you must misunderstood, as the installation of the laminate alone was approx. $500.00. I gave you a bill with the breakdown of what you were charged. Thank you for your business and your review.

Description of Work: Our hall carpeting was very loose and it looked as if there were speed bumps down the entire length. Scott came out and stretched it and re-tacked it. It's as good as new.

The whole process was professional. Scott was prompt in responding to my enquiry for an estimate and advised how much carpet I would need to buy for the job. He arranged to pick up the carpet from the supplier and arrived to install thecarpet at the time promised. Carpet was removed from a closet to provide the carpet for the repair which was well done. New carpet was laid in the closet and in a stairway to the lower level. I am very happy with the outcome and would have no hesitation in recommending Scott Shepherd to anyone wanting professional carpet installation at a reasonable price.

Scott was a pleasure to deal with. He showed up when he said he would, performed all work as agreed, and cleaned up behind his work. I am doing additional work on my home and will use Scott again!
Description of Work: I had removed the carpeting from two separate closets (one walk in and one reach in) in order to install new closet organizer systems. The padding and nail strips got trashed when I removed them. Scott installed nail strips and new padding, resized the existing carpeting fit properly, re-installed and seamed it to the surrounding carpeting.

Great job, looks like new.
Description of Work: I had a real mess with carpet which was not re-installed properly after a broken water pipe flooded my home. It was full of ripples and bumps and really looked a mess. I saw Scott's ad for carpet and flooring installation and repair and gave him a call. Scott came out the next day had tools along and in two hours had a headache I'd been dealing with like new. Scott moved furniture all I did was stay out of the way.
