We have hired Scott Sheppard to do several jobs for us. We are always extremely pleased with the quality of his work and his reasonable pricing.

Scott always answered or got back with us promptly. He was on time, done great work, good price and extremely nice to talk with. I would hire him again if any flooring needs arise. It is hard to get service anymore and Scott goes out of his way to provide excellent service in our opinion.

Scott Sheppard did not complete any work for me. I never hired him and I still need this job done. I will be looking elsewhere for a professional for this job.

Scott and his crew did a great job on our laminate flooring installation! They were on time and got the job done quickly. This was a challenging job because the floor was very uneven and Scott took the time to get everything right and leveled before installing the new flooring. Definitely recommend and would use again!

My carpet had several large wrinkles in it. It was a large space and I had no idea how it might be fixed. Scott returned my calls quickly. He was able to schedule me within a week. He showed up on time and worked almost the entire day with few breaks. My room looks amazing now. I would recommend Scott to anyone who asked. Honest and priced competitively.

Scott was amazing. He and his son laid our hardwood flooring and what a team they were. They not only showed up on time every day (unusual for contractors in Asheville) but they also finished ahead of schedule. Scott really knows his stuff. Our house had some pretty difficult transitions and lots of nooks an crannies to contend with. Everything came out perfect. I highly recommend Scott to anyone looking for a professional.

Fair, the quality of his work was good ...as far as installing the carpet he did an excellent job.. However, he went up $100 over our agreed price because " I ordered heavier carpet than he expected " ... I ordered my carpet direct out of Dalton and had it shipped ... He offered to pick up the carpet from the trucking company but he was booked three weeks out and I didn't want the carpet sitting there that long ... So I picked it up ... At the end of the job he wouldn't haul off the scrap from trimming and what not .,. So I refused to pay the full $841 he wanted , I kept $50 ... I did some carpet installation when I was a kid and hauling the scrap was part of the job...

Scott did a fantastic job screwing down our creaky flooring and re stretching the carpeting in that same room. He answered the phone when I called and scheduled our job for later that same week. He showed up promptly and got right to work. We thought it was only one piece of sub floor that was loose. He was very thorough and checked the flooring in the entire room. There were several areas where the nails had backed out, the flooring needed to be screwed down and the nails hammered back down. He relaid the carpeting and did a beautiful job. He also had very heavy furniture that he had to remove and put back after he finished the repair. He was very pleasant to work with and I would definitely hire him again.

Scott Sheppard was easy to reach by phone. If not immediately available, he returned my calls on a timely basis. Conversations were always pleasant and Scott gets right to the point. I asked for a rough, ballpark estimate, after I described what I needed to be done. Scott gave me the estimate, and the actual charges came out to be the same. I gave him a healthy tip since the work was excellent. Scott and I agreed on an installation date. He picked up the carpet from the store and brought it to my house. He had some padding left over from another job, so he also brought that as well as glue, tack bars and other supplies. Scott showed up on time, and he was courteous and professional throughout the five-hour installation. He worked very hard, and he was very precise with his measurements and cuts. Everything fit well and tight. There was little wasted time, but Scott gave helpful suggestions throughout the process. Throughout the job, Scott cleaned up as he went along so that there was no mess for me to clean up. I have nothing but the highest praises for Scott Sheppard and I would recommend him for any flooring needs. Scott has been doing this work for 25 years and it shows.

Scott did a great job! Was very professional and pleasant. He moved all the heavy furniture, pulled up my upstairs carpet, screwed down creaky floor, and put the carpet back down. Can't tell the carpet was touched, and the floor doesn't make a sound. We plan to buy new carpet for the downstairs in the future, and will hire Scott to do the job.

Scott is a craftsman, and a meticulous one at that. He called to tell us that he would be about an hour late, then arrived promptly at the revised arrival time. When he took up the carpet, he discovered that the tack strips had not been installed properly. He reinstalled or replaced these. He insisted on standing by his original quote despite the additional work. Not only would I use him again for this type of work, I would hire him to install new carpet instead of using the carpet retailers installers. Scott's price was lower than I had expected and the quality of the work was better than I had thought possible.

His workmanship and service was excellent in every way. Very knowledgeable about carpeting (and probably other flooring, also) and about doing the work. Punctual, reliable, reasonable charge, excellent workmanship. Will call him again in the future for anything to do with our carpeting. Extremely happy with this provider and recommend his services highly. Would give an A+, not just an A.

Scott was absolutely awesome! He gave us a timely estimate and did the work exactly as specified at an extremely fair price. Our carpet looks absolutely superb. We liked him so well we've decided to hire him to install carpet, that we plan to order direct from the mill, in another area of our home.

He called me back initially when I called him to inquire about measuring and pricing. He arrive exactly on time then and each day he worked. He even took up some carpet and delivered it to a gal that we gave it to and installed it for her. He us professional,conscious , and dependable . Not only did he do a wonderful job he was very pleasant to deal with as well.

Scott arrived on time and went to work. He redid one of the door entries and got the carpet pulled tight. We are very happy.
