Description of Work: Quality Floors installed 4 bedrooms of Bamboo floors and refinished the hardwood floors as well as weaved new hardwood into existing where we shortened the length of a wall. Jeremy was completed attentive to all of my questions and emails about decisions regarding the floors and was willing to install bamboo that we bought on our own. The hardwood floors the crew refinished are beautiful - very high quality work and attention to customer service could not be better. Their prices were just slightly higher than 2 other quotes I had but I could not be happier with my decision to go with them. You will not be disappointed. (Far and away the best in terms of responsiveness during the quote process.)

I was impressed with the crew's attention to detailand thoroughness. Though it took an extra day or two (beyond the estimated time) for the floor to dry, it was no fault of the company. They provided advice on how to speed up the drying process, and maintained an open line of communication with us.

 + -1 moreGreat job. Entirely professional. Prompt. Clean. Friendly. Thorough. What else can I say? They gave me a firm detailed estimate, an extremely fair price, explained what the work would involve, how long it would take, what the drying time was, and did an exemplary job. They then went the extra few yards by coming back a week or so later to return the refrigerator from the back porch to its appropriate place in the kitchen. I heartily recommend both the estimator (Jesse) and the two teams who handled my job.
Description of Work: Original heart pine floors in 1917 bungalow. Had never been refinished (or at least not for perhaps 40 years or more). Sanded and refinished with (water-based) Bona Traffic. One board broken in and was replaced. Some evidence of old burn marks could not be entirely removed (character!). All major scuff and drag marks (many of these) are now long long.

Description of Work: We used Quality Floor Service to install Smartstrand carpet with pad in our remodeled basement. The quote was a fair price and the installers did an excellent job. We are very pleased with our carpet and will use Quality Floor Service again when we get ready to redo the main level in our home.

Description of Work: 1. Staff person came to house and measured room and explained components of cost, including the flooring and carpet take-up and disposal 2. Sent quote next day, via e-mail. 3. Following our approval, arrangements were made for delivery of flooring to our house, so flooring would come to room temperature and humidity. Flooring arrived as per schedule 4. Arranged for installation the following week, w. the understanding that the installation crew would move and replace the furniture 5. Two-man crew arrived as-scheduled, and completed the job in ~ 6 hours, as per expectation 6. Crew installed felt pads, which we had purchased in advance, under all furniture/bed legs, and disposed of old carpet 7. We were able to sleep in our bed the same day the job was done. 8. We were well-satisfied with this company's work

 + -1 moreWe've used them a few times. They were going to be available more so than the other companies and their prices were pretty competitive, but the quality is a little lacking. The first time the finish of the floors wore off really quickly and the last job they kind of messed up part of the floor and they weren't really able to fix it. They are very professional and confident. They are there and available so that's worth something. I would use them again, but it might not be my first choice.

They refinished the floors, used a dust machine, and didn't hurt any of the toe molding. They were professional and courteous. It looks beautiful. Also, I got 3 bids, and they were the lowest. Good price and great work.

 + -1 moreThey use different teams, and some are much better than others for finish work. When work was completed---and after I had paid in full, mind you---I found some unfilled holes. Jesse, the rep who handled my job, was very responsive and came out twice to see that I was satisfied. They even came out twice to do the refinish work when there was a smudge in one spot. These guys are THE ones to use, and their customer service and follow up is excellent.
