Description of Work: An older gentleman came right on time and was pleasant enough. But, I don't feel the service was worth $49 for what he provided. I do have a water and moisture problem in my basement that I wanted inspected and a report provided of his recommendations (as per the offer). He just glanced around the basement, but #1) He did want to go into my crawlspace (which is 1/2 the basement) to inspect it at all. That is not a thorough inspection, especially when there was water leakage though those walls. He dismissed it. How can you do a thorough inspection if you don't even look in the crawlspace at all - even with a flashlight? I even had a ladder leaning against the wall so it was easy to get in and stand up to look around. He said it wasn't necessary. #2) He didn't seem to have an organized way of inspecting for a specialist, since I had to point many of the issues out to him. When I did, he did give some good suggestions which I thought he would put into the report and send to me (as the offer said would be provided with a thorough inspection). Afterwards, he sat in his truck at the end of my driveway for about 20 minutes writing something, and then he drove off. I NEVER RECEIVED ANY REPORT AT ALL - to this day. So honestly, I don't feel that is good service and it felt like a real waste of my money.

Description of Work: Rod inspected the basement and took plenty of time to adress all problems and areas of concern. Even after 1 1/2 hours due to my catalogue of questions he still took the time to answer each and with the quality as expected. As a result he adviced against any measures like a sump pump etc. Instead he gave advice on some preventive and cost efficient measures to avoid a major investment. Will definitley consider for another project.

I am using a relocation company through my employer. They did a home inspection and these were the items that they wanted the contractor feedback on. The guy was very prompt. I thought he was very straightforward, trustworthy, and very professional. The workers he got to do the work did a good job and finished the work pretty quickly.
Description of Work: Basement Solutions of WNC inspected a crawl space and put in a new vapor barrier for the crawl space and also inspected old water damage in my garage.

+ 0 moreEverything, even the clean up was an A+. They were also very prompt. Everything they did was just great, you couldn't even tell that they had been there. Once they got into difficulties, they stayed until late at night to get the job done.
