Went great.

I paid more or less for them to give me an estimate. The experience was ok. They prepared a proposal to do some additional insulating. I felt that when he came out to do the inspection it was not really an audit but more an opportunity to look at my insulation to give me a proposal. He just glanced around and did not get up into my attic. The quote he gave me for the work seemed reasonable but we decided not to move forward with it at this point.

They were on time and very professional. But did not hear from them for 2 weeks. Called and emailed them a couple of time before I got a response.

Followed up to purchasing deal quickly and scheduled appointment. Good meeting, thorough, on time. Said would send follow up estimate for full house energy updates but have not yet received that.

punctual and professional. Then the wheels went off the rails. Promised a list of items he would recommend later in the day, that did not happen. The document provided had someone else's email in the header. Took a couple of weeks, told him I still wanted the attic d***, no word back...I paid 50 bucks for a crap estimate, scamola. I want a refund Angie's list.

They showed up right on time and after showing them the two attic entrances, they jumped (climbed) right in and were finished in about 3 hours. They offered to vacuum after themselves but I declined as I had planned to do the whole house after they were gone anyway. Everyone was extremely courteous, professional and just good people to do business with.

While the guy was there it was great. My husband said he was very thorough and offered lots of information. After that, nothing. We had the same experience as one of the other recent reviewers. Very disappointed.

The actual experience when the provider was at my home was good - he was polite and came on time and explained things well. However, this is where things go bad - he explained that all the items he saw during the brief inspection would be written up in an email and sent to me later in the day, along with quotes for things that needed to be repaired or upgraded. I received NO email, phone call or any sort of follow-up. About a week later I called the number listed on his business card and a woman answered who explained he was in a meeting, so I left my contact information for him to call me back. Nothing. I called again a few days after that and spoke to the same woman who again explained he was in a meeting and could not take my call, so this time I opted to leave a voice mail. I explained that I was concerned that nearly 2 weeks had passed and I have received no follow-up or anything related to the inspection. I nicely explained that I am giving him the benefit of doubt that something has come up, but would very much like a phone call or email to update me on the status. To this date, I have not had a single contact from the provider. I would SERIOUSLY CAUTION anyone from using this provider. I did not receive the full services provided and I am completely unsatisfied. More to the point, I have had made multiple attempts to reach out to the provider, for which I have already paid via Angie's List, and have zero response.

I'm still negotiating with them. He was supposed to send me a quote back. He didn't send me enough information on the quote so I emailed him back. I'm waiting to hear back from him now on his quote. I'm not finished with Timothy. I did have him out and they did come out and did the initial inspection. We talked about some things that I wanted to possibly have done. He's quoting that for me now. He came out and what I was concerned with within my house is we have a walk up attic. We're storing a lot of stuff up there that is very dear and close to us. So it was getting awfully warm up there so I was thinking maybe I need to do something to see if I can't help control the heat up there and stuff like that. Not only that being that it was a new house, I was also concerned about having leakage and where I needed more insulation and stuff like that. That was the main reason for having them out. Not only that, the ad for them said they would also look at crawlspace insulation as well as attic insulation, check my roof deck, check all the ventilation, and also show me where I can probably do insulation improvements to help save me money on my energy bill. Overall, it was an excellent experience. He did a fantastic job. He told me everything I wanted to hear. He had made the comment that normally he goes into situations a whole lot worse than this, and he actually said that my house was actually in pretty good shape and had good ventilation and stuff like that. He told me a couple of things. If I didn't do a complete roof deck insulation there are some things I can do to help save a little bit here and there and that sort of thing. I was interested in what he had to say and what he started talking about insulating the roof deck and so that's why I asked him to give me a quote. When he originally came back with the quote and as I read the quote, there's a couple of things I don't understand about it and he did have a price and it's for me to judge because I really don't know what to expect. When it comes to quoting these jobs, most quotes just absolutely blow me away and other times I'm quite surprised that it wasn't more. Right now, maybe he's a little bit high, maybe not. I have nothing to compare him to. He was courteous and went out of his way to show me things here and there that I could do. Basically he got down on his hands and knees and crawled all through the crawlspace with me and stuff like that. Even though he didn't come prepared to do that, I don't think. He was there on time. He was very responsive.

Workers were on time, installed insulation in a timely manner. Company estimated at 20% reduction in energy bill. Workers cleaned up after themselves.

The experience was great. We plan on having them back to do insulation in other sections of our house.They were very professional. They are very neat in doing their work and always cleaned up after themselves. We would highly recommend them to anyone else in the area.

It took two calls to get him out here but when he came he was punctual. However, he seemed to be in a great hurry to leave and to convince us, in the manner of an insistent salesman, that we should purchase his product and services. He questioned the reliability of "R" Values as a good measure of insulation effectiveness and provided information which seemed questionable. I had a very uneasy feeling about him and felt he was just trying to manipulate and take advantage of us. He never responded with an estimate.

We were VERY disappointed with this contractor. The crew was late. The owner, during the estimate, assured us he would be there as the work was done, but he only dropped in twice that day for a total of about 15 minutes. He "guaranteed" that the insulation would reduce our energy bill, yet refused to provide anything in writing to that effect. Amazingly, I found one of his employees lying on our spare bed while the other two worked! When I asked if he was okay, he just said he was "tired". I told the owner about our disappointing experience, and his response was basically "too bad"--no apology, no offer to correct it, no price reduction (although he said he would "talk" with the offending employee). He even had the nerve to ask us to write out the check to him personally in what I believe was an attempt to skirt business taxes. Weeks later we asked him to follow up (turned out to be an HVAC issue), but he did not show (or call) after saying he would return the next day. Buyer beware!

I got an immediate response to my call and an appointment was made for John Meeks to come to give an estimate. Estimate was lower than other companies. The first appointment to install was canceled due to an equipment on the previous job but I was called and every effort was made to set up a new appointment that would be convenient to me. John was knowledgeable and gave an excellent presentation. I had done considerable research on the types of insulation and had pretty well decided on the type I wanted but John was willing to explain the various types and discuss the pros and cons of each. The installation went smoothly and the crew was extremely careful of my home and furnishings. They covered carpets and cleaned up after themselves. I was amazed at the lack of dust and mess that occurred.

They did a great job, and I would highly recommend this company. The owner, John Meeks, was professional and prompt. He called us to make sure we were happy with the job his crew did and even asked his crew to come back and readjust the attic dam to make it easier for us to access the attic.

Had an estimate within 24 hours of calling. They showed up on time, and worked all day, cleaned up very well after work was completed. Very happy with the service & product.

Overall the job was very well done. I'm quite pleased with the results. The two employees who came worked very hard and performed several extra steps in order to make me happy and insulate the garage as best as it can be. They cleaned up as best as they could when done (it is a messy job no matter what), and finished when they said they would. I have noticed a dramatic difference in the temperature of my garage, plus I get a tax credit for the materials. My visiting father-in-law, who is familiar with buildings & construction, said I got a good price on the job.I would recommend them and hire them again.

John Meeks and staff were very prompt and friendly. They followed up with me the day after I emailed them and the job was completed in one day the next week, on a day that was convenient for me.

I would highly rate John and Apple Blossom Insulators. John is the owner and the person that I dealt with from the 1st call to the completed project. Our job and attic was a very difficult job, due to the tight quarters and age of the house (and the heat) and animal droppings. John was great! He returned my call very promptly and he was timely with meeting for a quote. Our job had some minor setbacks and complications. However, John was very timely in correcting those and was genuine in his concern for our satisfaction. He is a great example of the commitment to excellence of a small business owner. I am delighted with the finished product and the man that stands for the company.

The main issue was that the salesman came and I talked to him briefly, the workers that did the work, one spoke no english and the other spoke broken english, making communication difficult.

The entire process was very easy. His prices are VERY competitive and his work superior. Anywhere my furniture or door ways came into contact with his equipment, they were protected. I had no marks anywhere. This man knows what he is doing, he does it right the first time. No cutting corners. I would recommend him highly.
