They were experts in the field, had the right equipment, and provided a fair estimate.

They were very professional and came to give me a bid. They were prompt and I wasn't even aware of their presence while I was at work. When I got home there was no evidence that they had even been there. The man that gave us our bid was very knowledgeable and had lots of expertise.

They are very fair and reasonably priced.

They were adequate. I always think the prices of things are too high, they did a good job, the tree was hit by lightning, they said they were coming at a certain time, they did, and did a swell job of cleaning up. They set the chipper out in the yard and it did drip some oil, but, that was okay. I give them high ratings and would use them again in the future.

I was very pleased with the work they did. When they showed up,they showed up to get the job done. They had all the equipment they needed to get the job done.They were very professional. They send an estimator out first to quote you a price,and they stick to that price. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Of five well-known local tree services I contacted and which inspected the site, only Davey agree to take this very, very tall tree down by climbing and not by tearing out our fence to drive a cherry-picker to the site. All the other firms said, "Too dangerous" to climb. Davey showed up on time. Very professional, very safety-conscious, very courteous. Did not mind my watching over their shoulder, so to speak. Pleasantly answered all of my questions. Worked very quickly and smoothly. Tree brought down efficiently without incident. No damaged to property or fence. Site was cleaned up to the extent agreed upon. Second very satisfied experience with Davey. A bit pricey, but I am more than willing to pay for work that can be depended-upon to be excellent the first time.

Their sales person is Andy Stones he is also a certified arborist. They are excellent. He has always done right by me. When women deal with businesses, sometimes they think they can pull a fast one on you but Andy is as honest as the day is long. He will do everybody the same way and treat them honestly and fairly. I cannot recommend him more highly. They are excellent at what they do. He is an arborist and he knows what need to be done. They clean up so well that you won’t even know that they have been there. They charge fairly and they do not charge as much as some other companies might. There is nothing to dislike. The handling of his customers is excellent, has perfect demeanor about him. The company is honest and trustworthy and his people who actually come out and do the cutting are all gentlemen. There was nothing that I would say that could be detrimental about my experience with this company. I would not go elsewhere for services regarding trees. They don’t only service trees, they also do irrigation systems, also do yards. They have rather wide extensive services that they offer. It is not strictly tree.

My mother has a home in Greensboro and we were told that the trees need to be trimmed back from the house. I called Davy tree since it was the first on the list and well known. They promised to call my mother with an estimate on Thursday and never called back.

Our yard is now beautiful and our neighbors are pointing to it. We plan to have Davey fertilize each year and help us keep everything looking next year as great as it does today. We knew Davey did a great job with tree removal but didn't know they did such a great job with landscaping too. Their personnel are great to work with and willing to change plans mid-stream if necessary - what ever makes the homeowner happy! They worked very h****** this project and throughout were extremely cooperative and friendly.

Davey arrived promptly, removed the tree and all debris related to the removal. Other than the stump needed to be ground out, when Davey left, there was no evidence that the tree had been cut down - they cleaned up every bit of tree on the ground. 2 days later the stump was ground out which was part of the original agreement. Davey is currently working with us on a major landscaping project at our new home!!! We had no idea they also did these kinds of projects. This will end up being around $10,000. We could not be happier with what we have experienced so far.

My house is an older house, but a new purchase for me. From the first, I was worried about a tall, single stump to two trunk pine tree in my front yard. Traveling as much as I do, I have seen the damage caused to pines by high winds and ice storms. This single tree, while beautiful, was a danger to my house, the church next door, and the powerlines for the entire neighborhood. With regret, I determined that it must be removed sometime in the near future. With a series of afternoon line squalls having come thru the area of the NC Triad, a large maple tree next to my dining room also had some storm damage, with several large top branches breaking off and either tangleing in the top of the tree or coming down into the yard. Sometime became NOW. I joined Angie's List because I am new to the area, and didn't have any real contact's locally to find and hire a good tree service, even after numerous inquiries in the immediate area. I chose two services from the list, and called Davey first. At first, it seemed that they were too busy to call me back after an initial estimate was given. That was explained after the second call by a road supervisor, and after that second call, everything has gone extremely well. The large pine is gone, and the maple tree has been properly trimmed and should live an even longer and productive life in my front yard. I am very satisfied with their service and response to my calls.

We used Davey Tree last summer and had a very positive experience with them. That's why we used them again this time, even though we have had a problem with the office staff in the past which involved a billing issue for a service we did not request. It was resolved, but required several phone calls, including calls to the central office. We like the fact that they have a certified arborist who really knows trees and gives great advice. In addition, he calls and sets up the appointment, etc. The followup (after the estimate) wasn't quite as good as the first time, but it may have been affected by the bad weather we were having at that time. The crews we've had doing the work have done really good work, have been efficient, and have done an excellent cleanup job. You do pay for the service and they are a bit pricey.

I found their personnel to very professional in their manner and very capable. I liked the fact that they had equipement that was capable of doing the work while minimizing damage to my property. I found the price to good in coparison to work I have had done by other tree services.

I feel safer walking on my property now! The crew completed the job in a day and cleaned up before leaving. They even blew fallen leaves off my lawn and driveway. I will definitely use this company again in the future.

We ended up using another service. They were very friendly and very knowledgeable. We felt they would have done an excellent job and we have seen some of the work they've done in the past. We eventually found someone who we felt the same confidence with that was cheaper. They were a little more expensive but it wasn't unreasonable for the work being done.

They do very good work. I have hired them 3 times now and have been happy with their service. I have recommended them to our compnay who is using them now as well. I will continue to recommend them.

They did pretty good and they were very friendly and on time. They have not come to many times, but they are going to start coming out more and so far there have been no problems. The price is reasonable though and we are pleased.

I like them because they are flexible with the schedules. I don t like to put too much fertilizer down and they only come five times a year as per my request. I think that is very nice of them not to pressure me into another sale of any sort. They are great to do business with and the prices are good as well.

The company does not use a truck and bucket to complete the services. Rather, they use pulley ropes and climbing boots. They completed the job in a timely and professional manner. The employees are very educational and cordial.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB ON REMOVING THE TREES I WANTED REMOVED. THEY DID A REALLY GREAT JOB CLEANING UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND WERE REALLY PROFESSIONAL DURING THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE.

THEY DID THE WORK DURING THEIR SLOW TIME OF YEAR AND GAVE US A DEAL ON THE COST OF THE WORK. THEY WERE ABLE TO START WORK RIGHT AWAY. THERE WAS NOT A SPRIG LEFT OF THE TREES, WHEN THEY WERE DONE.

A BRANCH WAS RESTING ON OUR HOUSE AND THEY WERE CAREFUL NOT TO DAMAGE OUR ROOF OR HOUSE. THEY DID A GOOD JOB CLEANING UP THE DEBRIS. WE THOUGHT THE COST WAS REASONABLE. THEY DID A GOOD JOB.

DAVEY TREE SERVICE DID AN OKAY JOB ON THE SERVICE THEY PROVIDED. THEY GOT THE JOB DONE AND WERE PROFESSIONAL DURING THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE. HOWEVER, I FEEL THEY OVERPRICED A LITTLE FOR THE WORK PERFORMED.

I HAVE BEEN USING HIM FOR SIX YEARS NOW AND I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SATISFIED WITH HIS WORK. I JUST LOVE HIS SERVICES AND I LIKE HIM A LOT. I AMA WIDOW AND HE LOOKS AFTER ME.
