This was Best in Class Service! The team showed up and got right to work. They were all gentlemen and all knew what they were doing. Each guy seemed to be an expert in thier field. They all worked safe and cleaned up as if they were never there. This was some of the best service I have ever experianced.

Went fine. Trees looked good. Cleaned everything up.

When they take out the trees its like the tree was never there. They all climb up the tree and take them down branch by branch. I recommend them for big jobs. they are very good and they are very professional. They send somebody out to give a written estimate and they send you a bill once the job is done.

Davey did a great job trimming our sweet gum tree. This tree is very large and fairly close to our home - which was our main concern. We were extremely happy with the professionalism of the staff and the extra precautions they took trimming the tree. The did a great job and cleaned up all the debris. We would definitely hire them again to do our tree work.

They are wonderful. They came out and walked around with me. He gave me a print out of what I asked them to do; they are really excellent. The only thing that I had to complain about was my own fault. He had the garage door open and said he is not a bad man, but that I had a branch outside that needed to come off. I do not know if he goes around doing that or not. They were just excellent in every other way; they were prompt, thorough, and did what they said they would do. There were a lot of trees and they carried all the debris away. They were so exactly professional; I have complete confidence in them because of the way they handled themselves. I had nothing to complain. My friend recommended them to me who has used them many times.

The representative that came to give me the quote was right on time, friendly and very professional. The tree crew that did the work also came at the arranged time and did an excellent job removing the limbs and cleaning up. Their customer service representative was very helpful each time I called and was able to get an invoice to me right away for the insurance adjuster. She called me on Saturday to make sure everything had been done to my satisfaction. Excellent experience with this company on all levels.

Davey Tree has always been a very professional company to deal with and they have a lot of knowledge on how to keep your trees healthy and looking good. I have used Davey Tree several times in 12 years and have always been pleased with the final result. Would definitely use them again in the future.

I have used them for decades. They are an employee owned company. They train and promote from within. They are real arborists. I hired them to maintain the major trees and shrubberies on my property. They were people I trusted to shape my trees appropriately and not do what I call the nuclear war trimming. They know how to trim properly. They know how to shape properly. They know how to take care of my variety of plants. They were able to distinguish between them and weeds and unusual plants that I have. They were careful about the way the applied chemicals and they were able to restrict them according to my directions. They have done excellent lawn care over the years. I was hired them for many different reasons over the decades and I've been very pleased with them and intend to go back to them. I've never had any property damage at all from them taking care of my trees.

The cost of their annual program to overseed, fertilize and control weeds in our yard (FRONT ONLY) was approximately 1200.00 per annum. Deep root fertilization or spraying of a shrub or tree for cure of a diagnosed "disease" was always $300.00, no matter the circumstance. The yard not only looked far better when we handled the lawn care ourselves, but "deep root fertilization" of 2 trees resulted in two dying trees and $600.00 in extra charges. Spraying of a shrub for "scale" resulted in another $300.00 charge and absolutely no difference in the appearance or health of the shrub. We would never waste $2400.00 in a year's time again!

We were very happy with their work. They got stuff done and done well, professionally. They may not provide super prompt service since the guys are busy

I'm an over the road truckdriver, new to the area, having just bought my house in Jamestown. I'm gone quite a bit, and my neighbors watch my house while I'm gone. The pine tree in front of my house was extremely tall, about 135 feet, I think, and split into two trunks about 4 or 5 feet from the surface, and at a slight angle. When my maple tree sustained damage in some high spring winds, I knew it was time to fix that and remove the pine. IF winds had split the trunks down the middle of the main pine trunk, one trunk would have taken out part of my roof and the roof of the church next door. the other trunk falling away could have blocked the road, and taken out both the powerlines for the neighborhood, and the phone and cable lines across the street. The tree was that tall.A Davey supervisor came out, looked over the problem, and we schedualed the work. Apparently there was a lot of work being done at the time, due to storm damage, because it took them a week and a half (approx) to show up. However, there was no rush, no new storms were predicted, and the work, when it was done, was done quickly and efficently. My neighbors took the pictures I have, and while I don't believe I have a picture of the complete double truck tree, I do have bictures of one trunk being topped. When I got back to the house, there was no trash, no wood chips, everything was cleaned up and the pine tree was gone. A week or so later, they came back and took out about 12 or 13 pine trees in my cross street neighbors yard. He had too many tree there, some were badly damaged from storms, and they made him a good price, too, less than mine, because none of HIS trees were threatening the neighborhood wires. All in all, they did me a good job, and a good cleanup afterward. It took two Tall cherrypickers to get to the pine and to go around my maple over the wires, but, again, no complaints, and that tree is no longer a threat to the wires and is growing healthily.

Work was completed as scheduled. Yard is absolutely wonderful - we are very pleased with the job Davey did.

I called Davey Tree company & made an appointment For Mr. Andy Stone to come to my home & give me an estimate on a Tree that I thought had finally died because it shed it's leaves extremely early this year. Andy had decided a number of years ago during a particularly hot & dry summer that this very tree needed some feeding TLC & trimming out dead limbs. He pronouces the tree very much alive & there was no charge for his recent trip to my home to give me the benefit of his expert advice! The tree is very happy & so am I!! Thank You Andy Stone & Davey Tree Company! What an Honest & Caring & Competent Company Davey Co. is!!!

They did a wonderful job with the pruning and trimming, and cleaned up so well that I could hardly tell they had been there. Good advice on a long-term plan to have more manageable beds and I will be calling them back in the early spring for that additional work. Really appreciated some advice offered on other plantings as well. I am very particular about letting my crepe myrtle grow in a natural form (as opposed to cropping) and they left it looking beautiful but healthier.

A couple of our trees had died and our back yard contained other trees that required some pruning. Davey tree was contacted and provided a reasonable quote that we accepted. The job was scheduled and the team arrived on time as arranged and executed their duties in a professional manner.

We called Davey Tree after doing our online research and getting three quotes for removing a large dead tree, grinding that stump and two other previous stumps and placing sod in the sites where the stumps were removed. Their salesman is fantastic - he sold us on the complete job but their implementation ended up being very lacking. The date set for the tree removal was kept by the company and they did an adequate job of the removal. That being said there was damage to the concrete driveway from the crane that they used - the concrete was cracked and chipped -obviously they knew that it occurred and no one from the company informed us of this. That stinks but is not where the real frustration occurred is when the company really dropped the ball. The "salesman" did not inform us that the tree removal and the stump removal would not be on the same day. After a couple of days we called the company and they said they were busy and it would be just a couple of days. One week. Two weeks. I had to call the company and ask for a specific date when the rest of the work would be done - even with that the date they gave me was about a week sooner than they arrived. They did an adequate job removing the three stumps but were inept at the placement of the sod. One area was leveled and sodded the other area was not leveled before the sod was placed. Again, they(Davey Tree) were not prepared at the time the stumps were ground, so the sod was placed a week later. My wife was told by Billy, the salesman, that this worked in our favor because we would have freshly cut sod. I was anxious to see the job completed after returning home from work. What I saw is what I can only compare to a bad toupee. I am not sure where they bought /cut the sod, but it was dead on arrival! We asked the company why it looked so bad and was not leveled and they stated that it should be raised compared to the rest of the grass - then why was the other area level? One area, (the level area), we were able to water back to health, the other, we will have to place new sod, as again, it stands out like a sore thumb. Anyway they removed a tree and removed stumps. We have been very disappointed, as we trusted their reputation and chose them based on it, along with what the salesman sold as knowledge and credibility and so we chose them even thought they were the most expensive. We decided they were worth the extra money, but we were very wrong. They have horrible communication with their clients which can become very stressful when a one day job becomes a five week test of endurance from home. Their detail skills or lack thereof ( damage to driveway, horrible sod placement and landscape management) show me that they are not a customer oriented company but they will get the job done for non-discerning customers but I am sure you can find the same quality of service then for a lower price. Needless to say, even after all the "screw-ups", no one came by our house to see if we were happy with the job or to look at the sod, that they had to know was dead! Davey Tree has obviously become a corporation that is focused on quantity and not quality. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Limbs were falling out of a beautiful old ash tree in my back yard, creating a hazard. Fearing it might need to be cut down, I needed the advice of an expert. Davey's arborist was very friendly, professional, answered all of my questions (since I purchased the property only a year and a half ago, there were many). I was relieved to learn that all the trees in my yard were healthy - just needed trimming. . Davey's crew came right out - worked very hard. No more falling limbs! That old ash tree will need to be trimmed again in a few years - will not hesitate to call Davey to do the job. Thanks for saving my tree, Davey!

Their arborist came and evaluated a fungus that we had. They were great, wonderful. They did the work while I was at work and when I came home, I couldn’t even tell that they had been there other than the fact that the tree had been trimmed. It was unbelievable how well they did in terms of cleaning up.

They did a good job for me. The price was reasonable and they worked out well.

The price and quality of work was ok,but getting them to respond to return calls was an ordeal and they just flat didn't bother to come back or reply when I asked for aditional help in restoring my yard.

The did exactly what we asked with the tree removal and trimming. They were very professional with their punctuality and expertise. These people know what they are doing and are efficient with their work . The end result was exactly what we wanted.

They did take out the wrong tree but based on their response to that error I will hire them again.

They are very professional and have a fair price. They are very prompt and very safety aware.
