Description of Work: We called Berico based upon reviews on Angie's List. One technician's name came up repeatedly, so when we called, we requested Rod Jones. | |When Rod arrived we told him that the A/C unit had been replaced several years before and since then there has been no airflow on the second floor. We told him that we understood there was a 'valve' in the crawlspace that had a 'winter' and 'summer' setting. Numerous different professionals had been unable to locate that valve telling us that it had either been removed or did not exist. | |Rod set off to see what he could do. Initially, he was unable to locate the valve, but Rod Jones didn't give up. He went back into the crawlspace and spent what seemed to be a very long time before he finally returned with a big smile on his face. He found the valve, placed it in the 'summer' position and confirmed that we were getting conditioned air on the second floor. |Thank goodness for Rod Jones - today broke all-time heat records!

Description of Work: AC TUNE UP. It went very well.

Description of Work: We asked them to do a sounding of the tank but the driver did not do it the day of delivery. They did send someone back out to do it. Before the delivery they verified we wanted the charge to the credit card on file, but they did not bother to check that it was an American Express, which they apparently stopped accepting since the last time we purchased fuel from them. Overall these were minor issues, they routinely provide prompt service at a reasonable price, and we will continue to use them as a fuel provider.

Description of Work: I used Berico Fuels, Inc. They did a pressure test because we had a leak in our gas system. They fixed the tank, so we’re committed to using their services.

Description of Work: Called for air conditioner service, as unit was not working. Came promptly, and said replacement was needed for unit. New unit purchased from another vendor.

Description of Work: I had a leak in my system and he came out and gave me a quote on what it would cost to get it fixed. He made a service call.

Description of Work: Spent five minutes blowing out a drain line. Took longer to print out the ticket than it did to do the job.

Description of Work: It took five visits from different Berico servicemen in a period of just weeks to get my heater to come on and stay on -- and I was charged each time. The fifth serviceman opted to replace a part that the fourth serviceman installed, because he felt like the older model of the part worked better than the newer model -- and Berico charged a diagnostic fee that I disputed -- Why should I pay for a fee that determined they did not like their own work??? And not once did Berico let the "next" serviceman know that someone else had just been out to service the issue -- this has been extremely frustrating to me. My account should have somehow been flagged, or it should have raised a red flag, that I was calling yet again for the same issue. All of this made me feel like they are just in it for the money they charge. Very disappointed with Berico.

Description of Work: Checked heater on the coldest night if the year when it shut off. Such great work!

Description of Work: They made a lot of trips here trying to get our fireplace logs working. A number of repairmen over a two month period were here. Each one swore it was fixed and then, within 24 hrs. We had to call them to come again. Finally, they got it right .

Description of Work: Service the HVAC systems. Installed a new thermostat.

Description of Work: Completely checked outside AC unit for electrical faults, freon levels, and mechanical parts. Cleaned AC heat exchange fins. Definitely needed. Checked all vents in house, replaced filter. Checked temperature coming out of ducts. All of this done in a highly professional and courteous manner. I will be using them again.
