We recently purchased a home in which the heating ducts had to be replaced because of age. We have used Berico for 20+ years and so gave them the job. Tim and Blake came out to do the job which took a day and half. To be honest I thought I would have to do some clean up after the job BUT these two techs were Fantastic. We realize Berico is the premium heating and air company in the Triad. However Tim and Blake were polite, detail minded, and very professional. The work was outstanding and the two left nothing for us to clean up. Paying a little more is well worth the quality of work they did.

When it mattered the most for Berico to show up and be there for me — they failed terribly. Berico is not a reliable company in times of urgency. I will not use their service again and I would not recommend them. Especially if you’re looking for helpfulness. My 19yo unit went out on a Friday evening. That in itself understand poses issue in acting quick. This sadly also happened in 90+ degree weather. Very bad timing. Berico came out told me a laundry list of issues that needed to be tended to (or replace it) and insist on collecting its diagnostic fee so the service person could go on their way. They were more concerned in collecting their money than helping me. I immediately went out, knowing I wouldn’t have air conditioning all weekend and especially during the hot heat. I paid $700 for a 700 sqft portable unit knowing I had to figure out how to keep the better part of 1700 sqft cooled. I was left really not knowing what to do nor what my options are. The following week I reached out to Kemco. And wow was I angry!! Not because of what Kemco wasn’t doing, but because of what they did! They first jumped to make sure I was fully equipped to keep my place cool. I was struggling to do so! I ended up needing three temporary units to carry me through. Kemco not only jumped to ensure I was comfortable while I waiting for the unit that they quickly helped me purchased. This experience with Kemco has continued to fuel anger towards Berico. I had an established relationship with them. They FAILED me when I needed them the most. They are absolutely being judged over when it matters most for them to live up to their promise. What‘s even more frustrating is their lack of accountability and responsibility when I expressed my concerns to them. i received a generic apology and even admission that providing customers with temporary units is standard practice. They did nothing to retain my business or to remedy their mistakes.

Berico sent out a very knowledgeable, professional service technician in a timely manner and got me up and running for a fair price! Very pleased!

The tech they sent out was on time, he was very courteous and and knew what he was doing. This is the second time I have used Berico and because of their performance I purchased service contracts with them. I highly recommend them.

Berico has been an excellent company to deal with for a long time! We’re finally upgrading to a new high-efficiency heat pump with a dual-fuel option system. These were not easy decisions to make and never felt pressured or hurried. When presented with the facts and knowing you are NOT going to be overpriced, the difficult decisions become clearer and easier to make! They are also offering competitive financing options. Their technicians are some of the most knowledgeable and courteous in the business. Staff are friendly and helpful and always available when you need them! Our family has been depending on Berico since the 60’s and will continue to do so as long as this old house needs to be cool or warm :)

From beginning to end the job went great. The girls in house are always courteous, attentive & willing to go out of their way to find 'the answer' if a question arises. The techs in the field are & have been for years just super. These guys have always been the easiest contractors to work with & I have had to work dozens for the past 35 years. 5 stars out of 5 for Berico.

Our experience with Berico was excellent. I cannot say enough about how they treated us through the entire process. Our situation was complicated due to water damage and mold beneath our house. Berico made our HVAC replacement simple. They were accommodating based on other work being done in the house, helpful in selecting a system that met our needs, and professional from the sales staff, installers, and office staff.

Berico always provides fast service, knowledgeable technicians, and excellent customer service.

Very well.The technician was prompt,professional and friendly.He did the maintenance service the unit needed.He also took extra time to answer all my questions and explained the advantages of the complete service and maintenance which is only fifteen more dollars per visit.

Stopped by Berico on Tuesday, and asked for someone to give an estimate to replace old furnace. Estimate was given on Thursday (2 days later). Furnace was installed the following Monday.

Quickly realized the issue and provided tips for me being proactive with my system to ensure long life of HVAC.

Excellent! Bid Process was easy, quick and I had their quote the same evening. They came when they said they would to install new ductwork under the first floor, which was handled efficiently and were completed when they said it would be.

Always do a great job. No matter what crew you get they are respectful and personable.
