We recently purchased a home in which the heating ducts had to be replaced because of age. We have used Berico for 20+ years and so gave them the job. Tim and Blake came out to do the job which took a day and half. To be honest I thought I would have to do some clean up after the job BUT these two techs were Fantastic. We realize Berico is the premium heating and air company in the Triad. However Tim and Blake were polite, detail minded, and very professional. The work was outstanding and the two left nothing for us to clean up. Paying a little more is well worth the quality of work they did.

When it mattered the most for Berico to show up and be there for me — they failed terribly. Berico is not a reliable company in times of urgency. I will not use their service again and I would not recommend them. Especially if you’re looking for helpfulness. My 19yo unit went out on a Friday evening. That in itself understand poses issue in acting quick. This sadly also happened in 90+ degree weather. Very bad timing. Berico came out told me a laundry list of issues that needed to be tended to (or replace it) and insist on collecting its diagnostic fee so the service person could go on their way. They were more concerned in collecting their money than helping me. I immediately went out, knowing I wouldn’t have air conditioning all weekend and especially during the hot heat. I paid $700 for a 700 sqft portable unit knowing I had to figure out how to keep the better part of 1700 sqft cooled. I was left really not knowing what to do nor what my options are. The following week I reached out to Kemco. And wow was I angry!! Not because of what Kemco wasn’t doing, but because of what they did! They first jumped to make sure I was fully equipped to keep my place cool. I was struggling to do so! I ended up needing three temporary units to carry me through. Kemco not only jumped to ensure I was comfortable while I waiting for the unit that they quickly helped me purchased. This experience with Kemco has continued to fuel anger towards Berico. I had an established relationship with them. They FAILED me when I needed them the most. They are absolutely being judged over when it matters most for them to live up to their promise. What‘s even more frustrating is their lack of accountability and responsibility when I expressed my concerns to them. i received a generic apology and even admission that providing customers with temporary units is standard practice. They did nothing to retain my business or to remedy their mistakes.

Berico sent out a very knowledgeable, professional service technician in a timely manner and got me up and running for a fair price! Very pleased!

This was one of the easiest and stress free large purchases I have ever made. The salesman, installation team, and the office were outstanding. We had snow when it was scheduled to install my furnace and they still came out to do the work. The follow up after the job was done was just as impressive S the beginning of the job.

The gentleman who came was nice and they replaced the thermostat, but the issue was not resolved. Our downstairs a/c will still shut off randomly and it gets uncomfortable.

Units were installed in one day (no duct work done as it already existed). Professionally installed and both passed inspection.

Berico installed a new air conditioning system to replace my aging one that had a major leak. The technicians were courteous and professional, and the new system has been doing a good job keeping my house cool.

They replaced an oil tank that had some water leaking into it and replaced with a new tank.

We had water damage. We had metal duct. They priced for metal but replaced with flex. It was rediculous trying to get money back. After they completed the project we were having issues with the front of the house not cooling well. We had another HVAC company look at it and theey said that the metal duct should not have been replaced with flex because it changed the dynamics of the air flow of our system, which is why the front of the house was not cooling properly.

Company charges you a “non-use” fee for not having propane tank filled on a regular basis. I do not agree with this business practice and therefore I ended doing business with Berico

They work was performed professionally and the unit works great. They deliver my propane and never let me run out.
