We are a Silver Plan participant and the checkup for our 27 yr. old furnace was OK. Only 4 days later there was a problem and parts had to be replaced so we had no heat over the week-end because the parts could not be obtained till Monday. That was completed and we had heat. On the coldest day of our winter Jan 7th the motor gave up and he had one on the truck. We are again with heat.

Air conditioner condenser shirted out killing the fuse. Cost of replacig the condenser was almost equal to a new unit because of the end of the year special. Unfortunatey the blower system on our furnance could not provide the air flow required by the new air conditioner so we haqd to also replace the furnance. Passed inspection and has worked well since indstalled.

They also made sure the job looked good and was easy to use when they were finished. |Top notch provider.

they have repairmen familiar with such systems - not everyone will service them. I was very satisfied.

We are pleased with the results of our install. We talked to four companies and a guy working "on the side" before making our decision, and chose Berico at a higher price because we were more comfortable with their professionalism. Other companies' reps reminded me of used car salesmen. After installation, we had a complaint (cosmetic), and they fixed it to our satisfaction. After that, they made a follow-up call to be sure we were satisfied.

They ran a special for heat pump service, we have two units and both were low on Freon. They did an excellent job - were very prompt and talked about service contracts (which we are still considering). Would definitely recommend them in the future.

They delivered heating oil. All went well as usual. I have been a customer for heating oil, furnace and air conditioning service since 1958. never had a problem that Berico didn't make right.

We ordered oil by phone (as usual). When the oil was delivered, we received a $25.00 surcharge for ordering too late in the day which resulted in the additional delivery fee. We were not told this on the phone. An email was sent to Berico stating our dissatisfaction. Berico offered to send a check for the $25.00 to reimburse us for the late order fee and we were asked if we would continue to order our fuel oil from Berico. We said we would decide when we got the check. We never got the check.

They were very good about working with my schedule and very friendly/polite technicians.

Purchased Big Deal furnace annual inspection/maintenance. First Berico scheduled technician without informing us and we were not home. Rescheduled and tech arrived on time and ready to go. He provided a maintenance check and all was fine with furnace. But, when ask about the condition of the furnace filter, he had not checked and I had to show him were it was...he checked, said it was fine and did not replace. In all such experiences I've had with other companies, changing the filter was an automatic at least every 6 months. | |Otherwise, thought the service was good, not just as complete as I expected.

The removal of the old unit and installation of the new unit was done within an 8 hour period as they had quoted. This time frame also included the removal of 3 old nonworking attic fans and the installation of 3 new electric attic fans. Also, during the install, the attic drop down stairs cracked and Berico replaced the stairs at no cost to me and arranged to have them painted professionally.

Extremely professional and responsive company. Had a problem with my gas log fireplace on a Saturday and the service tech was at my house in less than one hour. Doesn't get much better than that.

They were alway, prompt, courteous and responsive.

Started May 22, 2012 and City inspection one month later. All went very smoothly and professionally.

I have had Berico for over 25 yrs. They put in my present system of a heat pump/AC for the upstairs, and gas furnace and AC for the first floor. This has been very satisfactory, and allows me to heat or air-condition separately or together. I get a kick out of getting mail from the power company telling me that my (80 yr +) home is one of the most energy efficient homes, according to my electrical bill.

Bericco gave me the best deal for the most energy efficient AC and heating unit. The fall special of having 1/2 price on AC units made them very competitive to other providers. They were very professional and punctual. They performed all the work that they promised 100%. The new units are performing very well. Also a representative came through the house for a walk through and verify that the work was done properly. He inspected and cleaned the working area of any remains that they installers left. Also Berico takes care of the paperwork that is needed for credit to Duke energy and for the federal tax credit.

Berico gave us the best deal on a new central air-conditioning unit including a top rated unit and installation. For the last six years we have used Berico for all our heating and air-conditioning needs. Berico has always been a pleasure to deal with; fair prices and a knowledgeable staff that is always professional while delivering excellent service. We would highly recommend Berico for your heating and air-conditioning needs!

The technician told me that an "electronic igniter" was a very expensive part, but amazingly, he just happened to have one in his truck. I was charged $275.63 for a part which I found after some research could have been purchased for about $30 anywhere. I contacted the owner of the company and received a discount (no where near what the part should have cost, even allowing for normal profit and overhead add-ons) . Even though I did receive a small credit on the bill, I feel that service providers who gouge or even attempt to gouge customers, shouldn't be in business.

They do a good job and everything has been working fine. I am satisfied with the work. The technician did a thorough examination and found some things that were wrong that other provider's had not found. Scheduling was easy. He completed the work in about four hours.

They have payment plans available where you pay an equal number each month and at the end of the year you pay what is left or they credit you if you paid over. I have used their service for about five years and I have no complaints. Scheduling with them is very easy and they are available 24 hours for emergencies.

I have been using their services for over 25 years. They are a very reliable company. The quality of their work is excellent. I would highly recommend their service!

This was my first time using their service. Originally, I felt the price was high and the service was not optimal. I called an expressed my problems, they fixed the issue and offered a partial refund. I was happy with how they responded to me and corrected the issue. I would use them again the future.
