The service was fine. The quality of service was good. It was what I had them do. They come fix my air conditioner and they said that it was okay for the year and then, they went away.

They are very good. The came out one time and consulted with me a year ago.

I am a second generation Berico user. I never had one issue with them. They are always so pleasant when you call. They are very organized and they are very customer service oriented.

It cost nothing. I get them every year and so if anything comes up in this house, they take care of it. I pay them month to month.

They are always on time. If they are booked up and they get a cancellation, they call me. I would recommend anybody that want to use Berico Fuels. I am on a contract with them. I have one of their service plans and it does save money. When they come out, they tell me what is good and what maybe looking down the road they had to look at but does not need to be done now. You never feel that they are trying to take advantage in any way.

They were always very good and they even came out one time on Christmas morning. I was impressed but what we were not impressed with was that oil cost so much more than gas and when we put a new furnace in we put in gas instead. We have been using them for about three years. I have no complaints at all with Berico’s service but it was just their prices that got us. We had a service contract with them. When he came out it didn’t cost a dime. If they had natural gas I would be back with them for good reason.

We used them for many years and they did fine work. If we need to, we would use them again. When we lived in Greensboro, we used them for probably 25 years.

When the guy came out he found the problem, and he gave me a quote of $700 and that motivated me so highly that I went out and bought $6 worth of stuff to fix it myself and I used about $0.50 worth of the stuff and fixed it myself instead of $700. If he quoted me a price of maybe $200, I would have probably said go ahead and do it. The price of $700 motivated me so highly that I went out and got stuff worth about $5 or $6 to do it myself. I still have most of the stuff left. I used about $0.50 worth of it. They have been advertising on television in our local are and the commercial is so bad and so insulting to ones intelligence that I consider it an invasion of my life force and taking up my time. The next time we will probably call someone else to do our heating and air conditioning simply because their commercials are so bad. It is interesting that companies that say they are the best, how do they compare themselves to the rest of the companies in the world. I can't really say that they are bad, because that is pretty much the policy of any company to replace then repair. When they replace they mark up the price and there are significant labor costs. They were rather professional. Next year we are probably going to call somebody to repair our system and we will probably call somebody else before we call Berico.

We had to have them back out not long after that to catch something that they should have caught when they first came out. They were a little high, and they were responsive. I would probably look around because, of the price.

I don't have all the details since it was my wife who actually had the meeting with them. From what she told me, they went through every aspect of our HVAC systems. They offered up options for both repairing and replacing the components of our system. We did not go with them because I got a better deal from a comparable service provider, but if that competitor wasn't in the space, I would have hired Berico in a second.

They were very nice. They were timely with their estimate and cheaper than the other quotes. In the end, they said it wouldn't keep our whole house warm and it would be cheaper in our case to get a generator, and he didn't even sell generators. He pointed us towards where we needed to go. He was very kind and honest. My husband really liked him and thought he was a very nice man. He was the actual owner of the business. It took him about a week to respond to us. But when they did respond, they were very nice. They were also on time and professional. If we do decide to do any work on our fireplace, we would use him.

I would use them again in the future.

Update, this company has stepped up to the plate and worked with me to resolve the issues. They recognized that they have a customer service issue and are working to resolve it 11/13/2015 update. Eddie came out tonight to install our new heater. Personable, beyond helpful, great representation for Berico. He discussed the gas logs with us that the previous guy said were "no good" and gave us some options. Between Eddie and Danielle, my faith in Berico is somewhat restored. I'll be calling Danielle to talk about replacing the logs Monday. Now if they could just get more folks like those two! HIGHLY recommend asking for Eddie to do your service call. He was GREAT!

Service was good; no problems after the 2nd visit.

Smooth installation, fair pricing, good financing available.

First technician's fix of A/C lasted a couple of hours. Called him to come back. Second "fix" same as first. No air conditioning overnight for elderly woman's condo during heat wave. Different service technician came out next day -- a Sunday -- and did fix the problem. Both techs were pleasant and careful to avoid mess. First one really did think he had fixed the problem both times. Whole experience was not a bad one, and was covered under warranty. Typical overall of our experience with Berico as clients for several years now. They are professional and courteous. Some of their technicians are more capable than others. We request the same technician each time for regular service and any other needed service, and give him top marks. He was not involved in the emergency service described above.

Appreciated they found a clog in the drain but they said there was a freon leak and did not bother to check the valves for the leak, instead said it would cost $2000 to fix and you might as well get a new system. Turns out the valves is where it was leaking.

Service tech was friendly and professional. He was punctual and knowledgeable about my heat pump system. I would recommend this company for service. I did have some issues with having to reschedule due to others' need for service.

I wouldn't use them for services again.

They were a little expensive. It wasn't memorable good or bad. The customer service was okay. They were pretty quick to send someone out here. The technician was on time.

The Berrico technician arrived on time and was extremely courteous. He put on shoe covers so that my hardwood floors would not get dirty. He as very knowledgeable and explained each step and showed me how to take care of my ac and professional. I was very pleased with the service I received.

I've lived in Greensboro for 27 years, and have used one company for all that time. I won't name them explicitly, but you see their trucks constantly.... they're big... and I'll just call them CC. They provided good service, but I always had the feeling in the back of my mind I was paying THE premium price for the service, including a replacement York unit downstairs five years ago. Too lazy to ever change, 6 years ago they urged me to get a new system for the upstairs.... there were some leaks and they couldn't guarantee a rudimentary patch job would do it. I said just fix it for $150. It was still running these six years later. Now, the 16-year-old system truly was rusting away.... and again, upon their urging, I decided (even though it was STILL working) to make the preemptive move, moving from a 9 SEER to the more modern 13 or 14 SEER units of today. Give me an estimate, please. I received, after 27 years as a customer, a cheesy fax with 3 chicken-scratched estimates that were the price only.... no detail.... no nothing. That's it, boys.... you're taking me a little too much for granted. And the numbers seemed high. Angie's List showed Berico as coming out on top in so many areas, especially among people who'd gotten complete new systems, as I was ready to do. I called them.... and the difference in professionalism was beyond belief. Mitch sure knew his stuff.... he'd been an installer for 10 years before moving to sales, and he knew exactly the most appropriate product for the job. Their price for an excellent, name-brand system was significantly BELOW the bottom-feeding (cheapest of the 3) no-name system the other guys had thrown my way. Since my home has spray-foam insulation, the Berico installers were smart enough to alter the planned installation right there on the spot, as no holes could be drilled to compromise the spray-foam seal. Would those other guys have been as smart? I don't know and am glad I never found out. The guys who did the job were great... delayed for a few hours by a thunderstorm, but they hung in there and got it all done in one day, by 8pm. Subtract the $400 Angie's List Coupon.... throw in another $200 energy-efficiency rebate from Duke Energy, which Berico competently reminded me of (I didn't even know of it).... and we're talking some serious money saved on one of a homeowner's biggest expenditures. That $5,200 I quote above is before the discounts... The only thing that makes me mad is that I DIDN'T go with my instincts years ago and make the switch. If you think you may be getting hosed.... you probably are. It's not such a big effort to stop rewarding incumbency in an area like heating and cooling. I'm ready to do commercials for Berico, now as a paying customer!

Everything went well. The service tech was very knowledgable and did his job in a timely manner.

As promised,we were called about 8 AM to let us know that the Technician was on his way. Upon arrival, the service technician, Rod Jones, explained what he was going to do. Within about 1 hours, Rod informed me that everything was in good shape. He proceeded to clearly explain what services he had performed, and confirmed that system was working well. Rod is such a competent (and polite) person; it was a pleasure to have him work on our a/c! Thanks, Berico, for such excellent service!
