Description of Work: The only reason I am not giving Bain an A rating on all is because of the communication. Mike came out and gave me an estimate. He was very professional. Because I do not know anything about HVAC units I had three different companies to give me an estimate. Bain was a little less expensive especially with the $300 coupon for the same unit that I wanted. I contacted Mike and said I wanted to go with them and when could they put the system in. He said he would check and call me back. He contacted me 5 days later asking if I had made a decision. I am thinking he was so busy that it did not register when I said I wanted to go with Bain and when could they install it. After not hearing back from him with an install date, I went with another company. Both Bain and this other company were at the top of the list with the exception of Bain being a little less expensive for the same unit. While speaking to Mike I asked where I could find the link to apply for their credit with 0% interest rate. He said he took that to mean that I would contact him when I applied. He also said I would know immediately. I decided to pay cash, but it concerns me that even though there was some misunderstanding (he thought I would contact him once I applied for credit--not sure why) why did it take him so long to contact me. Why did he not contact me the following day even if he thought I was applying for credit and especially when I said I wanted them to replace my unit and he was to find out when they could install the unit? I think they are a good company, but just very busy this time of year. Sorry I could not go with them to install my unit.

They have also replaced heating and air conditioning systems for us and provided emergency repairs as well. All technicians are consistently professional and very knowledgeable. They have provided these services for us for quite a few years and we have been consistently pleased with all services. We highly recommend them.

Description of Work: I had used another HVAC in 09' (All Right Heating&Cooling), and they replaced a unit that had gone bad, well my AC wasn't acting right , so I called them again to come out and check my AC out, and they told me I needed to replace the unit that they had put in two years ago, which cost $200 Dollars, and that I needed to replace my fan as well, well something didn't sit right with me, so I told them to put everything back the way it was, because I was going out of town the next day, and I didn't want to spend no money on it right now. Well I called Bains to come and take a look, because I wanted a second opinion, Don, the Technician, came out today, did a service maintenance job, and told me the fan and the unit the other company said needed replacing, was fine. He was courteous, and knowledgable about what he was telling me, and I appreciated his honesty. I will use Bain from now on, because I felt like I could trust him, and his company. The other company I mentioned earlier, don't use them, they weren't honest people. I hope this helps anyone that's looking for a good company to use, that isn't out to rob you. I'm on a fixed income, I'm 62, and I need to know I'm getting the best service for my money. Also, the cost for the service maintenance job was $109, but I had a coupon from Angies List for a 10 per cent discount, which Don gave me. so I only paid $98.10.

I was very happy with the way the technician took on our problem as a personal challenge and figured out what the real problem was. I have and will recommend them again.

Description of Work: I purchased a service contract with Bain. They check all the units twice per year, once during the summer and once during the winter. The air conditioning evaluation was done in July. They checked all the AC units, as well as the filters.
