Two Men and A Truck

Very quick response to our request. Worked well with us to move on short notice (literally days). Scheduling and quoting went smooth. Unfortunately, the final bill was $500 over the estimate (not including tips). The guys were great, communicated well and acted professional. Unfortunately, they were not very efficient or organized.

All our furniture is damage they tie the ropes to tided and damage the freeze in all 4 corner and has black marks on it. They broken a leg on our new couch never been used and still have the price tag on it. they put ropes dens in our f Grand Daughter hope chest we just had special made for her cant give it to her now... Dens in the jewery boxs and broke 2 reeliner. Den the arms of our other couch. They spend time looking at what we had and talking about our knife set and playing around with the pintao The two guys did alot of talking to each other and not working. Then their truck and to be jump off cause the battery was dead. Not one thing arrived broken. The workers were personable and attentive to my requests. Moving is a nightmare. They lessened the blow as much as they could.

They arrived on time. My wife had organized the items and we had prepared them for move. We walked the two Jeremys through the house to show them the items to be moved. We gave each a list of the items and where they were to be placed in the new home. While one Jeremy carried stuff out of the house, the second Jeremy secured the items in the truck. For the heavier items, both men worked to carefully move the items. When everything had been loaded and secured, they followed us to the new house. I stayed outside and reminded them of where the items went while my wife was inside to assist by directing them. It took them about 45 minutes to load the truck, about 45 minutes to unload and 1/2 hour to drive between. All items were delivered without incident.

An agreement was made to move us and the company new that it was a 3 story townhouse apartment. They also knew that alot of items went upstairs. My husband and I both are partially disabled and cannot move heavy items. A price was originally agreed upon with all this being known. All of a sudden they wanted more money to move items upstairs, I said no that a price was already agreed on and that it was also known that there stairs involved. My husband was at the new apartment I wasn't and when I arrived there everything was downstairs very little was taken upstairs. Boxes were stacked to the ceiling!! We are still trying to get items upstairs. I was angry and still am. The crew was the ones asking for more money and the agree

Service was very professional and prompt. I was amazed at how well they could pack all of my stuff into their truck and still had room left over. My furniture was not damaged in the process other than a dent in the back of an item one would never see. They were fast and efficient and had 3 gentlemen do the moving both in NC and unloading in TN. I would recommend them again!

I interviewed 4 companies, from large to small, and 2 Men & a Truck seemed the best suited for me. They turned out to be just that. I moved a townhome full of goods from Asheville NC to Charleston, SC and they handled everything with great care... not a single scratch. We had a delay on this end, in moving in, and the guys just rolled with it and got the job done, even though it got them back up the mountain very late. I will definitely use them again.

To be honest, this company was not my first choice - based only on Angie's List ratings. The "A" company failed miserably so I contacted this company and could not be happier. The two young men (Jordan and Xavier) were very personable, professional and really knew what they were doing. They were even earlier than scheduled and so very polite on the phone. The furniture was wrapped (if needed) and moved very efficiently and quickly. Seriously, words aren't enough to express how happy I was with the entire operation - and the end price was nearly $200 below the initial estimate - they were that efficient. Highly, highly, highly recommend this company!!!

I used the services on 3 separate occasions for partial moves into a rental home and some into storage unit. When making the appointment they were usually able to get me scheduled within 1-2 weeks. They confirmed the move usually the day before. On the last move they had some difficulty finding the house but called me to get directions. They were conscientious about protecting the furniture and were good about stacking it in the storage unit. I had different teams each time but all were pleasant and got the job done.

I asked around for referrals and 2 Men and a Truck were highly recommended. They were courteous, answered all my questions and walked through all my options on the first call. Secondly, a home visit was performed to ensure they would be prepared. The 3 movers showed up on time and were very efficient and courteous. The office called mid-day to be sure I was happy with how the move was going. I brought lunch to the movers, who didn't eat it until they were finished! And, they came in under the quoted amount. It was very well handled and their customer service was impressive.

I actually got 3 men and a truck. They did a great job protecting my furniture from damage and they were very efficient. My biggest concern was the handling of my upright piano. The piano move went off without a hitch. My furniture had to be delivered to 3 nearby locations. This was no problem for the movers. Travis, Kevin, and Jeff did a great job.

They estimated $895 but charged me $1100 at the end of the day.

Kevin and Jarred were professional from the moment they arrived at my home. They did an excellent job packing-- not one broken or stratched item in the move. I would definitely use them again--very patient and professional. I would recommend this company to anyone wanting an A+ experience in moving. I can't say enough good things about this company from first conservation to completed move.

Showed up on time, moved everything in a very professional, safe way. Extremely friendly and courteous. No complaints at all.

They showed at my home at 9 am to move my 2 bedroom apartment and didn't show up at my new home until 7pm to unload my belongings. They left plants in the apartment. They said that it was my fault that it took them so long to deliver my things. The manager or owner berated me for not giving them proper directions. I felt like they were abusing me. They added $400.00 on to the original price because they couldn't find my home. They also threatened not to unload the truck unless I paid them in full. Luckily, they had already unloaded.

Excellent. They did a professional job, did not take an exaggerated amount of time to complete the job, and worked efficiently with each other. They appeared to be an experienced moving crew.

This was the easiest move I have ever done!!1After hearing all the Horror stories I decided once again to go on Angies list and Glad I did!!! were on time - loading went well. worked well, packed well, no visible damage at that time very bad part of job was unloading, became obvious they were rushing and were not as concerned for a damage free day. two issues, scratch across big screen tv plastic screen protector was noticed after they left. worst and most obvious disregard was moving in refrigerator - to lazy to remove door - forced thru doorway, ripped off lines for icemaker and ripped off metal weatherstripping on door. they seemd to ignore - when mentioned busted line - was told should be ok - did not write on receipt but said if bad when installed, to call. has not been installed yet

I was given a quote over the phone and I was charged double that rate to move into a one bedroom apartment. I have never paid this much to move and I always get professional movers. The two guys sent were unprofessional to say the least. My friend over heard them making derogatory comments about us in the truck. More than once they brought furniture and boxes into my new apartment that were supposed to go to storage even after I clearly stated where everything was supposed to go. This wasted time! My bed frame was put together carelessly and therefore broke. When I called the next day to understand why I was charged a grand for moving into a one bedroom the woman who answered the phone was extremely rude and nasty. They blamed the elevator's slowness for this. They did send someone to try an fix my bed frame but honestly, even he didn't set it up properly. I realize now that's because it's broken. I ended up having to toss it. The day before I moved someone that lived in my building warned me that they were over charged but I didn't have time to get other movers. I have heard so many similar stories of customers getting overcharged since then. I always used Two Men and A Truck in Fl and had excellent service. My experience in Asheville wasn't anywhere near that. I'm just really disappointed in level of service and I will not ever use them again. I suggest that they look into to who they are hiring more closely. The movers sent didn't care at all and made my move extremely stressful.

Called Two Men & a Truck for a moving estimate from moving Canton NC to Bristol TN. The receptionist set up an appointment for te following for a person to come out to look and appraise the move. The person was very prompt and looked over our entire house to see what we had to move. He explained thoroughly how their company worked and how the move would occur. He explained that if we decided on their company that the truck would only contain our household and go directly to our new home. He said that he would figure the cost and send us an email with that cost. We received that estimate the next business day. We did not choose this company or any other moving company. We decided just to rent a truck instead.

One young man from 2 Men and a truck came to give me an estimate on a move from a very small (750 sq ft) 1 bedroom house to a different house less than a mile away. The man was borderline rude, and tried to persuade me that they would need 2 truck and 4 men to do this move. I have moved many times in my life and am quite experienced with movers. I have a piano, so I knew they would need 3 men to move it, but not 4, and certainly they would not even fill that first truck with my belongings. The price he quoted me was outrageously high and I didn't get a sense I could trust this company.

I packed the boxes and stacked them all over the house. The office worked with me when the closing date changed and changed again. The men confirmed the morning of the move and arrived on time. They went to work prioritizing how to best accomplish the task. Of course, it was pouring rain. The office asked if I would like a third man to speed the process (for additional fee) and I agreed. My hundreds of books did not have time to even get wet. After everything was in they helped arrange the furniture and rearrange it until I was satisfied. Great experience.

Move done quickly and efficiently. No broken items yet found. Staff was friendly and cheerful.

Would definitely use them again. All went perfectly.
