Description of Work: I was unable to get into some sites I needed on my computer and called Neil Berman at The OnButton. We set up an appointment the next day and he arrived promptly. I felt very comfortable having him in my home He found the problem and also spent quite a bit of time going over the computer with me and showing me how to use it more efficiently. For someone like me that was very helpful,. His charge was what he told me it would be and I would certainly call ;; him again for any problems.

+ -1 moreI recently purchased a new home that has six rooms with two speakers each in the ceiling, and a separate media room wired with five speakers. The unlabelled wires came out of the wall in two location with no instructions. I really wasn’t sure who to call for help. From searching the internet I found THEONBUTTON. Neil responded promptly to my inquiry and scheduled a visit to my home. He fully analyzed the situation and measured spaces on shelves and in a cabinet for component parts. Shortly after his visit he emailed me a summary of his findings and written suggestions for consideration, which included the estimated costs of the components and labor for different options. The report was very clear in terms of the capabilities provided by each option, making it easy for me to determine what I wanted. After I made the selections, Neil purchased the needed components (two amplifiers, 1CD player, 1BluRay player, 1 subwoofer), delivered, installed, and tested them --- way below the cost I had anticipated before I contacted Neil. Moreover, Neil organized the components perfectly to fit the available space, and secured everything neatly – leaving me with nothing to do after he left but to enjoy the outcome of his work. He was punctual, thoughtful, and full of great ideas for home audio and media room systems. Everything works perfectly. In addition, Neil did the work on Saturdays so I didn’t have to lose time at work.
Description of Work: 1) Set-up Home Audio: diagnosed wiring in walls to existing speaker sets in 6 room, connected distribution box and amplifier with radio tuner, CD player, and i-pod; calibrated and balanced system; identified the amplifier, CD player, and parts for system, purchased them and delivered to house for installation. 2) Set-up Surround Sound in Media Room; evaluated existing wall/ceiling speakers and built a surround sound system for my existing plasma HDTV; added Blu-Ray player with NetFlix streaming (via internet) and a sub-woofer speaker; calibrated and balanced system; identified the amplifier, DVD player, sub-woofer, and parts for system, purchased and delivered to house for installation. Provided written detailed instruction for use of both 1) and 2).

+ -1 moreNeil arrived right on time and began work immediately with a review of my wife's concerns with her computer and connectivity. In addition, she related problems she was having with access and use of several software applications she needed quickly. He cleaned up the interfaces on her applications and optimized her approach to using them. In additon, he solved our conneciton problems with our existing modem and wireless router. He then turored her in regard to using the applications and simplified everything for her. We will definitely use the theOnbutton again should problems arise. ( Neil Berman, owner)
Description of Work: Neil provided application cleanup , file clean up, and tutoring to my wife on several applications she was having difficulty with. In addition, he got our wireless router and modem going again that Time Warner and TP Link help desks had struggled with in trying to help us.
