Description of Work: We used Sierra Structures. They built a deck for me.

Description of Work: Put in backyard fence. Excellent work. Weather would not cooperate, but kept coming back the next day to complete, including on Sunday. Very happy with results.

Description of Work: Built 350 feet of a 6 foot tall wooden fence with 6 inch dip between posts. Removed existing rotten fence before new construction

Description of Work: Went well overall. However, some small short cuts were taken that I would have prefferred to have been consulted on during installation. These were not noticed until after construction had been completed.

Description of Work: All I can say is they are the best. We are new to the area. We got other bids for our fence needs. Some with ratings on Angie's List and some not. This company went out of their way to accommodate our needs. They were courteous and very client centered. They were prompt and professional, but not pretentious. Melody and Kenny are the best. I thank them so much. Putting up a fence seems like such an everyday thing. No big deal. Well we have three dogs. Believe me, it is a BIG deal. The young men who put up our fence were so kind and efficient. It was a treat to watch how they managed to do a beautiful big job in such a small amount of time...and do it beautifully. They left nary one piece of debris behind. Thank all of you for a job well done!

Description of Work: We called Sierra for an estimate for an extremely large, expensive project involving fencing our yard. Of course, they did not know the size of the job at that point and I felt like we were handed off to someone with very little experience because we live further out in the county and she happened to live closer to us. After a couple phone calls, we set a date for the estimate and she showed up on time, but it was immediately apparent that her level of experience was not very high. She did not ask for very basic information that she would need to do an accurate estimate, she was only able to draw an accurate map of the property after much prodding and correction from us (basically a rectangle) and the estimate we did receive did not include the correct fencing height and was missing lots of information about the electric gate (although since no questions were asked about electrical hook-ups, etc or lighting I don't know how it could have been included). When I asked who would be doing the formal layout of the fence and she replied that she would, it sealed our decision not to go with this company. We felt that due to the fact that this was a $25,000-35,000 job, we would be more comfortable with someone with experience. She was very pleasant though and this was probably assigned to her by someone who didn't feel like making the trip out to our house. We are going with a different company and the difference in the level of professionalism and experience is like night and day.
