They worked with me to get an estimate done quickly (not true of a few of their competitors), got us on the schedule, and completed the work within two weeks of my first call to them. Matt was responsive and the crew who did the job were amazingly fast and very friendly - they stayed 12 hours and knocked the job out in one day. Overall, a nice job and the yard now looks great.

+ 0 moreWonderful experience and results. When we first contacted him, Mr. Meashey came to our home promptly to discuss and give us an estimate for what we wanted. Once we decided to proceed, we were put on the schedule and the fence was completed in a 2 day time frame with only one day skipped because of rain which couldn't be helped. We were extremely satisfied with the professionalism of Mr. Meashey and the quality of the work performed!! Would definitely recommend him to anyone!

+ -1 moreEntered contract with them in Febuary and then did not hear from them for a long time. The order that came had to be reorder the color was apparently incorrect. I had to contact them several times becasue they were not responding. They orginally ordered the wrong gate and it had to be reordered. They did not complete the work until October. The installers were very good and I would give them an A. The office personal did not call back and I feel they did not tell me really what was going on so I would give them a failing grade.

+ 0 moreKenny was our project manager and Chris built the fence. Everything went very smoothly and kenny went above and beyond to help us fix some issues with boundary lines and neighboring fences. It was only a few days from the signing of the contract until work started. The end product is a very well built and good looking fence with great customer service. It took about three or maybe four full work days to complete ...he apologized for being slow , yet he even worked in full on rain, I was impressed!
Description of Work: We hired them to build us a 6ft wooden, board on board, privacy fence for our two doggies.

+ -1 moreI was told they could do it over the phone if I would just give them the total footage needed. I did not like this approach since I needed advice on where the fence would be placed around trees, beds, and the house in general; and I was having trouble understanding some of the lines on the plot image I was given from the builder. We had two other estimates done since then and there definitely were things those companies pointed out to me that I did not consider.
Description of Work: I did not chose to use Sierra Structures, so this rating is not based on work performed. I called to set up a time for someone to come out and give us an estimate for a fence.

It's been hard to get a hold of her since then, but she was really great when she came out. I thought their quotes were probably among the lowest we got.

+ -1 moreOverall it went very well. I choose them based upon reviews and professionalism of the quote provided. There was a little delay getting started due to all the rain the week before but they were upfront that everything was weather permitting. The gentleman that led the installation and did most of the work himself did an excellent job. He was personable, patient with answering questions and did quality work. He even did well handling a troublesome neighbor. It did take a little longer than the estimated 2 days to complete but would sacrifice time for quality.

+ -1 moreI did not choose this company to build my fence but obtained a quote from them. Kenny was professional and very pleasant to deal with and even dropped off a sample picket for me to see. The only reason I did not use this company was that they use S3S pickets (3 smooth sides) instead of the more expensive S4S pickets (4 smooth sides). Their price was the same as the company I used but that company uses S4S. According to Kenny his company just does not use them and that was it. So that is the sole reason they lost my business. You would think they would accommodate the customer and use the higher grade wood but it was not an option according to him. I gave them a "B" due to this. *In response Sierra Structures response, I was told they only use S3S pickets and do not use S4S. The misunderstanding lies with the sales agent that told me this, not me. I fully understood. I made it clear that I wanted S4S. He made it clear they do not use them. Sounds like their issue to me..........
Description of Work: I obtained a price quote in reference to building a 6ft tall wooden privacy fence around 262 linear feet.

+ -1 moreAfter much delay (solely on my part) I scheduled the fence installation. The workers showed up and set all the posts in one day and came back the next day to install the boards and gates. When an issue came up regarding one of the gates due to the property grade, the workers were very accomodating and fixed the gate. The next day Shirley stopped by to check on the fence and saw something that didn't met her standards and had it fixed while I was at work. Couldn't be more pleased. Thanks!

Description of Work: I called Sierra Structures and I believe I first spoke with Kenny Hicks. I told him what I was looking for, what my schedule was going to be, and the necessity of getting this fence in place as soon as possible. ( We have two monster dogs that were destroying our house.) Kenny said he would be out in the area the next day and asked if he could come by and give us an estimate. he was on time almost to the minute. He took his measurements, and understood that we needed a 5" picket as the 4" would not contain the dogs for long. He explained they had to order the 5' pickets as they do not keep them in stock. He gave us an estimate, and he said it would take two or three days. He called in two days and said they would be ready when we were set to get started. Now we had to arrange the money. We were going to pay by check, but Sierra Structures gave us a 5% discount for cash. We gave them a little more than 50% down, and paid the rest when the job was completed. That time of the year was rainy so the job took a little longer than the 3 days we had hoped for, but I have got to tell you we could not be happier with our new fence. My wife was worried that we may need to paint the fence as the wood was beginning to dry out and crack in spots as wood is known to do. Kenny explained that we should never have to treat the wood as it is pressure treated, and if you put a treatment on it, you will have keep treating it in the future. They even put steel frames around our gates to keep them from warping and sagging over time. The job looks as professional as the staff at Sierra Structures promised. I have Zero complaints and will highly recommend Sierra Structures to anyone who needs a fence!! You may be able to get a fence for less, but you probably won't get as nice a quality fence as we have.

+ 0 moreEstimate process was easy and staff was friendly. Fence and deck installation went quickly. Gates installed are high quality and function great. Deck steps are as expected. Sierra Structures was also willing to quickly add extra gates after the job where we felt they were needed and also correct one area that with thought was a little less than perfect. Now, we are absolutely in love with the fence and steps and are thrilled we got them installed! Would absolutely recommend to others! Many other fence companies I called were unresponsive and very slow. Sierra Structures was always reachable and responsive. The workmanship and quality of the fence is top notch.
Description of Work: Sierrra structures added deck steps to our existing deck and installed fencing in our back and side yard.

Description of Work: I had a powder coated aluminum ornamental fence installed. The quotes I received from different contractors were all in the same ball-park and I decided on Sierra Structures based on how completely my questions were answered, and their effort to keep the process as simple as possible. The enclosed back yard area was not large, approx 70' X 30', and the fence height is 4'.

All-in-all it was pretty fast considering the approval process. The job site was cleaned up completely after completed. Great job!
Description of Work: I shopped the price of a 6' wood fence with 4 different companies. Their price fell toward the low end but I made the decision to go with Sierra Structures because of their professionalism and knowledge. We asked an estimator to come out; he came out exactly when he said he would, sent the estimate when he said they would; started the work when he said they would; finished before they said they would! Very satisfied with the work they did, could not have asked for a better outcome. I will refer them to my parents, who also are looking for a fence at their home.
