Description of Work: Green Horizon put down heavy vinyl barrier in our crawlspace and sealed existing vents there to the outdoors. They carefully sealed the barrier to the outside walls of the crawlspace and also seal it around all of our (rather irregularly shaped) old-fashioned internal supports. They also built and installed a new doorway at the foot of our cellar stairway to the back yard.

Description of Work: A/C on the second floor of the house was inconsistent, with some rooms hot and others cold. Green Horizon reconfigured the duct work and modified the air flow resulting in more even temperature throughout the floor.

Description of Work: Green Horizon replaced a part in my geothermal HVAC unit after I discovered a leak. The problem came about because of an extensive earlier repair, and I appreciated that the Green Horizon technician assumed responsibility for the issue and there was no charge.

+ 0 morework was done quickly and professionally. 2 men worked nonstop for about 5 hours. They were very good about not leaving any mess at all and explaining what they were doing. They were very careful not to let our pets out of the house on their numerous trips to the truck. Our utility bill dropped 15 to 25% per month the year after the work was done.
Description of Work: Duct sealing in attic, sealing of gaps and leaky spots leading from conditioned space into the attic, built a attic box over pull down stairs for better insulation.

The replacement for the air conditioner was going to take ten days, and during that time, they pumped in Freon at no charge to tide my son over (who lives at the house) since it was during the middle of summer.
Description of Work: We thought we needed to replace the Freon in our air conditioner, but we needed to replace it. They also replaced a heat pump and the ductwork under the house.

The work crew was prompt and did an excellent job with minimal mess. Since the completion of this work, our monthly energy bills have decreased significantly. + -1 moreAttic and bedroom insulation went fine. Garage insulation had slightly different colors. Ductwork required taking down significant amounts of ceiling which now requires a carpenter to replace.
Description of Work: Removed and replaced ductwork to correct air flow and improve efficiency of AC and heating. Extended dryer vent to outside of house. Blew in cellulose insulation in attic. Added dense pack insulation in bedroom walls. Sprayed open cell foam in garage ceiling.
