Very well. The technician explained to me the various parts, the function of each, and how he was checking it. He found a capacitor that was losing its capacity, as shown on the meter, so I let him replace that to prevent a future failure. He also gave some welcome advice. I had taken their $80 voucher from Angie's list, but it turns out the cost of the examination was only $65 or so. However, they reduced the price of the capacitor to make up for it.

Started on time, finished ahead of schedule.

They were awesome! Bobby and Dante were punctual and professional when providing quotes, answered our questions, and provided us with options that met our budget. Julio and Rico did a great job installing the new HVAC system and gave us good advice when issues were identified in the installation process. Now our home is super comfy and energy efficient just in time for winter. Thanks, team!

Overall the process was fine and they were pleasant, even checking up in person on their work afterwards, but they took a long time to schedule to install the unit (3 weeks). We would likely have backed out of the installation except they made us sign a contract up front to commit to the work.

Dante was really helpful. He explained everything clearly and caught problems that a previous service provider missed. They checked and found out our motor was under warranty and just charged us for the labor. it was a smooth and very professional experience. I was really impressed!

They started work when we had to be out of town, but I kept in touch with them. They brought up an issue with the door to the crawl space that had to do with our alarm system. I was glad they noticed this. We had to get the alarm folks over to fix that and then Green Horizons came back to finish.

Not well. They were booked up and couldn't get out for several days (not a big deal). They came the day they said and called me. I told them the problem, which I had aleady done when I first called: air handler quit, transformer was overheated and probably blown. The tech called me back almost immediately and said we had to reschedule because he didn't bring any parts. I said okay but then decided to hire someone else who came out immediately, diagnosed the problem, replaced the transformer. They had to order a circuit board which they did and told me all the parts were covered under warranty. I was happy. Green Horizon actually showed up again later in the day (no one called to reschedule) and we had to tell them we hired someone else.

Things went very, very well. The work crew, supervisors, and office communications set a gold standard for doing business, and we've contacted them since for other small problems in other areas. We recommend them highly.

Scheduling was prompt and technician was timely and professional. Everything checked out perfectly. No up selling or sales pitches. I have used Green Horizon several times and I am always pleased with the service.

Very well. In spite of the part coming in a day later than anticipated (it was 12 degrees and we had no heat); the technician was here as soon at it arrived and replaced the broken fan within 30 minutes. Very professional and knowledgeable. Learned that our former HVAC company sold us a system that was more than what we needed, which didn't surprise me given their reputation of up selling. I highly recommend Green Horizon.

They did a good job. They were fine. I don't recall on the pricing, I do know I got a deal. The workers were very friendly, very professional.

Erica was very helpful in getting a technician out to my house on the same day. Ben was able to identify a faulty capacitor and replaced it. Unfortunately the next day the unit was again not functioning and I had to have them come back out. Olena was able to schedule Ben the next day and he realized that he had overlooked testing the system pressure when he was out the previous time. He topped up my system and got the system up and running again. Because he should have caught this issue on the first service call, they did not charge me for the second service call, just for the parts. I was very pleased with the service level from all involved and have found my new HVAC service company that I will use going forward.

Attic had areas missing foam, had to fill in on a second visit. Still a few areas could have been done better in my opinion, but didn't want to bother them a third time. I used closed cell foam, which I was generally happy with, though if I did it again I would have added more than 2", or seen if additional layer of cheaper open cell foam could have been used after base layer of closed cell foam.

It went real well. Repairman didn't take long to find the problem and address it.

We hired Green Horizon to replace our entire HVAC system plus put in new duct work, and were very pleased with both the experience and the result. We were on vacation in August when we learned from a neighbor that our AC was not working. We hired Green Horizon based entirely on phone conversations with their technician (Dante) who conducted the initial review of our AC system, and then subsequent phone and e-mail communication with company owner Bobby Ferrel. We have a young child and were very concerned about having the AC working by the time we returned from vacation. Bobby assured us that his team could get it done, and they did. Everyone at Green Horizon, from technicians to install coordinator to administrative staff, has been excellent to work with, not only in terms of the finished product but also at communicating along the way. This feels like a company that is big enough to handle lots of projects, but small enough that there is a nice personal touch. While we certainly were not happy that our ancient AC unit gave up the ghost this summer, it was a major relief being able to come home and have a brand new AC system. Thanks to Green Horizon, my family didn't have to get home from a long road trip to an unbearably hot home.

We couldn't have been more pleased with the service we received. They were on time, did both the audit and upgrades very quickly and efficiently, were extremely polite and professional, and took time to explain what they were doing and how it would help the energy efficiency of our home. Best of all, their work is saving us money over this time last year, despite the extremely high temps. We would definitely recommend this company.

Good but once installed service went down the tubes.

I bought a coupon for a $60 tune up when the tenants at my rental townhome said the AC would not get below 75. They were able to schedule an appointment within 72 hours (+). However, on the day of the appointment, they went to the wrong residence (-) (my home instead of my rental. This was an error on their part. The tech did show up that day (+) but was 2.5 hours later than expected (-). From what the tech said, the system was frozen because the line was backed up. The tech was respectable and was patient with me (+). He did his tune-up that I paid for and said he needed to come out the next day to blow out the lines and insert a kill switch/automatic turn off switch. Instead of booking another appointment the next day, I thought I would chance it and maybe the tune up would solve the problem. I thought that they were trying to upsell me. Well, a couple of days later the tenants called and said the system would not get below 75. So I tried to make an appointment with Green Horizons but they were very difficult to get ahold of (-). I ended up texting the tech to tell him to have them contact me which he did (+). they called me at 9am and left a message. I called back at 10, 11, 12, 1 and finally got ahold of someone at 2 because they don't have answering machines (-). They were able to schedule someone to come out to the rental in a reasonable amount of time (+). The day of, they almost went to the wrong address after me triple checking to make sure it was the tenants address as the service call (-). I gave them instructions to blow out the line but not install the automatic kill switch. THey blew out the line but that did not solve the problem as my tenants called me a couple of days later and said it would not get below 75 (-). I ended up calling another company to go out and all it needed was a Freon recharge. I don't know if from the start it needed a Freon recharge or if the thing was frozen and the line was blocked, but it would have been nice to get a call from Green Horizons saying, "Hey, your Freon is low. We need to top it off for this to work". (-). I will say that it was probably more difficult because they were half dealing with me and half dealing with the tenants but it was just a lot of work to get the 5 year old unit back up and running. .

Tommy checked out the system, and showed me that not only were the repairs not necessary as everything was in his words "wonderful", but that the pictures I had been shown by previous provider were obviously not from my system. Tommy did find one leak in pressure switch that prior provider highlighted as part of a $400 repair, which was solved with a quarter turn of a wrench. He then used his high tech electronic leak detector and low tech soap bubble test to show the leak was now solved. Green Horizon now has a new customer. Once I get my money back from prior vendor, will leave appropriate review for them.

We would say it went great. Though there was some debate throughout the process about what the best course of action was, GreenHorizon's team proved helpful, knowledgable, professional and, ultimately, did high quality work. Once or twice the large number of people our work required led to some management on our part to keep track of what was being done where, but GH worked with us throughout to make sure the final product was the best for us and our budget. They even performed some HVAC repairs afterwards, for free, that were not included in the original scope of work. So we would definitely recommend Green Horizon for this kind of thing.

Green Horizons did a good job, professional all around, and cleaned up after themselves. the angie's list coupon for them was a nice bonus.
