Kingsford Siding, Windows & Patio Rooms

Have had no problems with the workers, they are always on time, they would stop and pick up all necessary supplies before they showed up for work, they always had 2 or 3 workers. Took care of all the things that needed to be done.

The sales process was great. I was able to get them to meet my budget. Saved about $2500. The quality of the work was great. The overbuilt the deck to my specs and did not have a problem with this. My only negative comment would be the communication. Once you sign the contract, the communication between the company and the customer is at a minimum. For example, one special window did not come in. I was not notified. Twice I was told it was in, left work early, and when I got home, found it really was not in. Also I was very disappointed that I had no contact with any managers, owners, or salesman during or after the job. They also seem to be having trouble getting me an itemized final bill I can use for my taxes.

The representative was very committed to give us an accurate estimate; he was meticulous in measuring the exterior of the house and gave us a detailed estimation unlike other companies who measured our house too sloppy. He did not try to sell additional things like Windows and shutters etc. He was very responsive and gave as the best package (price, respect, and service). If we would have decided for vinyl siding, we would have taken Kingsford - no question.

I was pleased with the outcome of the work I hired this company to do. They were very congenial and did everything I asked them to do although the siding work they did looked a little sloppy. My overall opinion about them is a pretty good one. They sure are qualified for the job.

Everyone at Kingsford was great. Steve, the salesperson, who explained all the options; Blaine and Olivia, who did a fabulous job with the actual installation; and Kevin (the co-owner, I think), who came out afterward to double-check everything and explain the financing contract. They finished on schedule with no cost overruns, and answered all of my (many) questions thoroughly and professionally. I would highly recommend this company.

Gary Reiter arrived on time and ready to give me a thorough estimate on vinyl siding. He did a complete review of my current wood siding starting in the areas where I had the most concern. He answered all of my questions patiently and thoroughly. He showed my samples of their product and compared it to samples of other products.

I was very happy with the service provided by Kingsford. They did a high quality job. The siding looks great. It makes our home look very nice. The workers were efficient and knowledgeable. I would recommend them to others.

The salesman came and gave me an estimate after measuring the windows. He said the replacement windows would be custom made to fit the openings and they we call me when they were in. I received a call in about 4 weeks as the salesman had said. We scheduled the installation a few days later. I received a call the day before. They were behind because of recent rain and needed to reschedule. I said fine. The installer arrived within the time I was told he would. He installed the windows between about 9 AM and Noon by himself (I live in a 3rd floor condo). This was as expected. He came back in the afternoon and put vinyl trim around the windows. The windows looked very nice and I immediately noticed the sun did not heat the room like it did with the old ones (in August).

I was very pleased with final appearance, workmanship, and price. All of the men were efficient and eager for me to be satisfied. My only complaint would be that they took longer than they should have to complete the siding job. They would promise to be back and arrive very late or leave early.

The work was done professionally. There were no problems when told that a portion should be reworked. I did not pay any money until the work was complete and to my satisfaction. They came back 6 months later when some siding buckled. They removed and replaced with no problems.

THEY GAVE ME A LIFETIME WARRANTY ON THE GUTTERS WHERE THEY WILL COME OUT AND CLEAN THEM WHENEVER I NEED THEM TO. THEY RESPOND WITHIN THE DAY OR THE NEXT DAY AND DO A GREAT JOB STANDING BEHIND WHAT THEY DO.

THEY GAVE ME A TIME FRAME AND ACTUALLY FINISHED THE WORK BEFORE THE DEADLINE. THEY CLEANED UP THE MESS AND I FEEL THE PRICE WAS RIGHT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

THEY LEFT A LOT OF TRIM SCRAPS IN MY LAWN, BUT I THOUGHT THAT THE WORK CREW WAS GREAT. THE LADY IN THE OFFICE WAS TERRIBLE TO DEAL WITH. SHE NEEDS TO LEARN BETTER "PEOPLE SKILLS". THE GUARDS DO NOT WORK WELL BECAUSE THE WATER FLOWS OVER THE GUTTERS.

THEY ARE ACCOMMODATING AS THEY WORK WITH THE CUSTOMER IN SCHEDULING AROUND THINGS. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE IN THEIR PROFESSION.

I WAS NOT PLEASED WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY WERE NOT VERY RESPONSIVE FROM THE BEGINNING. THEY DIDN'T START ON TIME OR FINISH ON TIME. THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK WAS BELOW AVERAGE.
