They're always really good, good at matching the products that's already there. They're very professional, knowledgeable and I highly recommend them. They did a really good job.

I contracted Kingsford to replace the windows in my house. The project was broken into 2 phases. The first phase went wonderfully - the team seemed to do a great job and the new windows worked for my needs. The second phase was full of problems. The wrong materials were delivered, the window flashing is horrible, the wrong color caulk was used. The team had to come back a second time because we found nails and trash left behind, as well as we noticed nails in windows still and windows that were installed in a very haphazard manner (Sloppy caulk work, nothing clean). All of this was corrected and I thought to myself "we can move past this - we have no windows and can make it work". Then about the weather rolled in and suddenly I have a water damage in my kitchen. I never even assumed it could be the windows (There is one window in the room above the kitchen, but it never came into my mind that the window could be the issue because it was new). I brought my normal home contractor out and they looked at it. Turns out the window wasn't sealed. Zero caulk along the bottom of the window. To make this entire scenario worse, as I found myself loosing faith in Kingsford - I asked my contractor to check the windows to see how Kingsford did on the rest of the windows. He found that the window drip plates were not replaced, and were rotten in a few places (Kingsford never even mentioned that to me). And that a few other windows had some issues. I had my contractor that I trust correct the issues since I didn't want to be exposed to the weather. I then called Kingsford and asked to speak to the owner. The owner is a soft spoken and reasonable person, however he had absolutely zero value to add to my plight. He said "You should have stopped work repairing the damage and called Kingsford - we would have come and examined things". My reply stating that I had lost faith in that company as well as the fact that I didn't want to leave my house exposed to elements seemed to fall on deaf ears". He then made me a bit more angry by saying "Out of his good will, he would send someone out to look at the windows". He completely missed the point that 1) It is not good will, it is however, the warranty of the windows - and is part of his job and 2) I've lost complete faith in Kingsford to actually do there job correctly. We've had them out 3x to look at things that were not done correctly. Bottom line - I will never use this company again - and bluntly - I'd advise you to stay away from them. They sub-contract out all of there installs - so there is zero quality assurance and nobody checks anything. If you have any issue and need to repair it - they are slow to respond and if you correct it on your own - to protect your house and investment, they will pawn you off and say that you should have called them first. I will never use this company again and recommend that you all stay far away from them. I now have to repair water damage in my kitchen because of there horrible work.

It went great! The work was performed on a house in which my 74 year old mother lives. The workmen did a fantastic job. She raves about how professional and friendly they were. The siding and the windows look absolutely fantastic. Dealing with Kingsford was an absolute pleasure. When I have the windows in my personal home replaced, there is only one company I plan to call to do the work - Kingsford.

Tripp Herndon came out to our property on Saturday, June 23rd to look at some storm damage for a recent hail storm. He then promised an estimate on Monday, June 25th that we could send our insurance adjuster. By Wednesday we had not heard anything so I followed up with an email to see when he'll be able to get an estimate to us. He said he had been busy all week but would get it to us. Thursday he sends me an email saying that they could not take on anymore "storm damage" work right now but maybe in the Fall. Poor customer service and a 100% waste of my time. Do not use this company if they treat you like this in the beginning can you imagine through out the process how bad they will be.

The quality of the product is great. They sell a top quality window and it's the only window that they sell. They are the top vinyl windows in our area. Also, their window installer is fantastic; he's been doing it for decades. We were very pleased with him and he took time and made sure that he took out all the rotting wood and replaced it with new wood before he actually installed the window. We were really happy with that as well. They were punctual and we would continue to use them.

We have used Kingsford for siding and window projects in the past, and always been pleased with the results. And, I might add, it is pretty tough not to like the lifetime warranty on their windows! They added windows to our latest project, a sun room addition, and they were one of the main reasons the project was winner of the 2014 Wake County Remodelers Council STAR Awards for best sun room!

Highly recommend Kingsford Siding, Windows & Patio Room This is our second experience with Kingsford. In 2002 they installed aluminum windows in our home and did excellent work! So when we decided in 2014 to change our deck to a 16 x 16 Sunroom, we did not hesitate to call and spoke with Tripp Herndon. Kevin Jones, (the owner) and Tripp gave us a clear estimate/invoice given in writing prior to work and completion of job. They provided excellent communication throughout and the price was more than reasonable given the end results. We could not be happier because to sit and be surrounded by God's beauty is such a relaxing feeling. We are very pleased with the quality of material used and workmanship of the installation. I had three estimates. All three were close enough that price was not a factor. After lots of research I concluded that the Soft Lite LG from Kingsford was a superior product and well worth the price. The process from beginning to end was excellent.

Everything went well, and we are very satisfied with their work.

The quality of the windows that we got was excellent. A couple of times we had a problem with one of the windows and they were very prompt in providing a service for that. They are very responsive. They do this vinyl wrap around the molding of the windows on the outside. They were able to come close to matching the color of our interior trim. Most of the companies have standard surrounds, but Kingsford had three different ones. We needed the maple and white and mahogany. They were the only ones that had the mahogany. They were recommended to us by three friends who had had Kingsford do their windows. They were cheaper than anybody else and they did a great job. The price was reasonable for the quality.

had a problem with scheduling due to Kingsford cancelling repeatedly even though made new times over a week after cancelation. Finally complained and got a good team that did the job in about an hour. they indicated they could have done the job earlier rather than have repeated cancelations.

The service personnel showed up on time and were professional. The job was completed on time; one week. there was no damage to the house or grounds.I damaged the garage trim two weeks after they left and called them. They repaired the trim two days later at no charge. the house vinyl and trim are warranted forever and is transferrable to the new owners. so what can I complain about? nothing!! excellent job.

Everything they have done for me they have had to come back to fix. The siding has slipped off, they have had to come back to fix, on the side of the house. The owner was supposed to meet with me and the manufacturer at my home on August 6, 2012 about 2 different color pieces.* He had no intentions of doing so. I asked for my money back, and the owner stated nonrefundable or cash back policy. *The company is not what they said they were. They are very unprofessional. I would not recommend them.

As with any construction process it was stressful at times. However Kevin and his entire staff were quick to help and answer any questions or concerns we had along the way. They couldn't have been more supportive. Sometimes I think I may have bothered them too much but their prompt responses and pleasant demeaners assured me I had nothing to worry about. Overall the whole process was professional work with a knowledgeable and friendly staff. We had the best so I wouldn't bother with the rest. So should you.

Kingsford did an excellent job. They did all the work at the time and cost estimated. The workers also helped clean my basement when some rain water came in (not their fault).

They were great and the estimator was very good. They followed it up well and I had them come out again to narrow down the job. They were very helpful and did a very good job. I will use them in the future, too.

Initially it was terrible. The salesperson was a moron and kept changing the price - varying $1000. He also said that he would kick my dog if it tried to bite him. Finally I called to tell the owner why I wasn't going to use their company and then he took care of it and it went very well. If I had only had the 2nd part of the experience I would have given them an A on everything, but because of the ordeal at first, I'm giving them C's

They were good and stood behind their work. They did a good job. I had some issue with the board in the back and they came right out and replaced it. My interaction with them went fine. They forgot to do one thing on the back that I had wanted. So when I called them about this, they sent somebody right out to do it. They fellows that installed it couldn?t get it to work, because it had an electronic motor. They came with another man, who was more skilled in it the next morning, and they fixed it. They called back to check. I got a very fair price and got excellent service.

They did a great job. The price that they charged was reasonable since we did shop around a bit. There were cigarette buds everywhere and that was the only thing that we had a problem with.

I thought they were thorough and very nice. We met with the owner when we were deciding what to do. He was extremely helpful and showed us a lot of pictures of homes that were similar to ours and what colors and shades we should use. He showed us ones in our price range and was extremely helpful.

They were perfectly fine, but I ultimately decided to go with another company. They were very responsive to my questions. They presented their product well - I think they have a good product. Their price was a little higher though. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

Overall, it was a reasonably good experience. Had it not been for the window mix-up, I would have rated it as excellent.

Overall, the projects they did for us were done efficiently and we got a quality product.

They were prompt and did this work well. The workers worked hard and got this done in one day. We are happy with our windows. Our energy costs have gone down too!

Have had no problems with the workers, they are always on time, they would stop and pick up all necessary supplies before they showed up for work, they always had 2 or 3 workers. Took care of all the things that needed to be done.
