It went great! He was prompt and courteous and a pleasure to work with.

Jose stayed with the job until done , was very meticulous with his work and left things clean when he finished. Being an older house with some irregularities it took some time to try to figure out the best way to run the brick work to make the best appearance and he did not hesitate to take the time needed to discuss things with me and problem solve as he worked. When I had questions he was very patient to answer them. I would recommend him to anyone and would not hesitate to employ him again.

Jose was very pleasant and prompt. He came when he said he would and the work took approximately as long as he estimated (2 days). He had to go to Pittsboro to get the brick that matched my house exactly. He and his assistant did a very professional job. They also fixed a loose railing.

José did an amazing job. He was very professional and worked non-stop, even when it began to drizzle. I would recommend him to anyone who wants professional GOOD work!

I had earlier provided Jose an Internet picture of what I wanted. He said no problem and gave me a good estimate. He had to schedule me a few months out because he was booked on other projects. When the date finally arrived, he showed up on time explained the job and was very courteous and polite. During the installation, he made one suggestion that I could not have envisioned. He said, 'this will look good' and so I trusted him and said 'go for it'. And you know what, that accent piece that Jose suggested is my wife's favorite part of the fireplace! - who knew. I guess Jose knew. The quality and detail of his work is outstanding. I would not hesitate to use him again.

He didn’t charge. He’s a good man. It’s a slate walkway and he laid the slate over the concrete and did a very nice job.

It went very well. Jose spent a little over 3 days performing the work. It looks fantastic! He is very easy to work with. Jose also replaced brick pavers removed from the sidewalk to install the steps.

Jose, was the only mason who was willing to do the work without replacing with all new material, was very prompt and thorough, always stayed in contact, I would recommend him for any work needed

Jose responded quickly. He had an opening the day after I sent a request to him, and I hired him to do the work. He quickly went to work, and didn't stop until he'd completed the job 4 hours later. He hauled away all brick in his truck, swept, and used his shop vac to clean up debris. I would hire Jose again, he did a great job. My only recommendation would be that he bring plastic and enclose the area he's working in to contain the huge amount of dust for such a job. As a mason, he knows that this type of work causes dust to get everywhere. I got plastic myself and covered doorways to the room in which he was working.

The only problem with Jose is that he is only one man and in high demand, for good reason! There was a 6 week wait from quote to when he came out, but he remembered the scope we discussed exactly and did a great job. He matched the mortar and 80 year old bricks extremely well and the work was beyond my expectation. I tend to nitpick contractors on details or price, but Jose left nothing to complain about in either regard. I will use him for all of my masonry work going forward, and I'll recommend him to all of my local friends and family. Worth the wait.

When it comes to masonry, there are hard workers, and there are artists. Jose is both! Because lots of rain was predicted for what was to be the second day or work (for a two-day job), Jose worked faster and longer on Day 1, and finished. But the walkway certainly doesn't look like a rush job -- it is absolutely beautiful. I will definitely hire him again in the spring when I decide what I am going to do in my backyard.

He came out and said he didn't think I needed the work done. They were all good and trying to save me money. They were being honest with me in saying it didn't need to be done, just like the architectural engineer told me. They were all very good and honest. They called me and told me what time they were going to be here and were on time. It was a good experience. They were very detailed. They went underneath the house, walked around the house and showed me what was cracked, but it was nothing to worry about.

His craftsmanship was a delight to observe, and the results were excellent. Jose showed up when he said he would, and cleaned up thoroughly. He was pleasant, competent and professional. We would not hesitate to hire him again.

Fantastic! Jose was fast, efficient and a pleasure to have. He answered emails within the hour, worked in the rain, and even went above and beyond by removing the railings for us. The steps look fantastic! I will definitely be using him for future projects!

Beautifully. Answered phone right away (at 7:30 in the morning). Showed up for our scheduled appointment on time. Gave us an immediate quote and date when he could begin the work. Actually came a week early! Work was done properly and took two days to finish the project. The work site was kept clean and well organized, and good materials were used.

Very well they look great. I had used handymen to repair a few times, they never held. Jose's will hold. He was responsive, punctual, and willing to take on my small job. He is a very pleasant man. He is busy I had to wait to get on his schedule but it was worth it

Jose is a very pleasant, very capable mason. He responded quickly to my initial request, scheduled a date to perform the work needed, arrived when promised and did a great job. Because of his quality work he does have a bit of a lead time that I will always be willing to wait for. You can not go wrong in hiring Jose to do any masonry work!!

Excellent, professional service. Very capable in both the art and the science of masonry with functional, sturdy and beautiful result. Attention to detail. Good communication about the project. great! Jose built our fireplace and some brick entrances for us last year. He is worth the wait! amazing job, pics show the before and after. Showed up on time ( general 3 month wait) , finished job even with rain, on time on budget, and finished patio is amazing. Flows so well with exisiting patio that Jose did not build, but certainly made look better and also leveled as we had an issue with standing water. Will certainly hire again!
