No issue finding the probelm but thre repait took two tries.

Outside condensing unit was malfunctioning. Initial service call on Tuesday identified a bad breaker on the outside of the house. The technician cleaned and inspected the bad system and the other functioning system. He offered to fix the bad breaker box and install a disconnect switch, but I told him I would do it myself. Despite this fix, the unit kept turning off after short periods of time. By Wednesday night we realized the 17 year old unit was a goner! CWJ (the owner and a technician) came back out Thursday afternoon to confirm the issue and assess our replacement needs and was able to install a new outside condensing unit by 10AM Friday. With high's in the upper 90's forecast for the weekend (and a 7-month old baby at the house) this was a relief! Install went smoothly and looks good (not to mention the unit works well) they disposed of the old unit and cleaned up after themselves.

They were really friendly. It took them a little while to get back to me after they came and looked at it initially. When the job did get done, they did really good work. He went above and beyond what I expected. We didn't get the fireplace from them, but I gave him the information on it and he figured out where it needed to be.

We realized our upstairs heating unit was blowing cold air the day my wife went into labor over the weekend with our first child. Called CWJ on Monday morning, and by early afternoon I was able to meet them at the house. The technician quickly and efficiently addressed, discovered, and fixed the thermocouple issue. Payment was quick and easy. No bologna with CWJ. I'll be calling them in the summer if/when the A/C gives me trouble.

The technician was on-time, very professional and explained in detail everything he was doing. He thoroughly inspected the whole A/C system, replaced the damaged part and then cleaned both units thoroughly.

My A/C unit was on the fritz, and I was unable to diagnose and fix the issue myself. I called and was able to schedule an appointment easily for the next day. The tech was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I ask a lot of questions to the point of being a pest, but he didn't mind at all and was able to answer all of them. My evaporator coil was frozen solid, and while waiting for it to defrost he cleaned the compressor and inspected the drainage line. I was mentally prepared to pay $1k for a new evaporator coil, but he had suggestions for how I could extend the lifetime of the current unit for several years. I'm very satisfied overall and will definitely call them back in the future for further work.

We've used CWJ for three years, and they've done consistently high quality work. The technician performs a thorough inspection and adds freon as needed to one of the AC units. He is punctual, professional, and conscientious. The owner and office personnel are responsive and helpful. CWJ is better than three other HVAC contractors we've used over the past 15 years. They are a great value -- delivering more for less price. CWJ is also honest. Other HVAC firms have said we needed to replace our system. Thanks to CWJ, we've gotten 3 more years out of it!

It went excellent. I liked them because they were very reasonable, they got to job done as quickly as possible under the circumstances. They were very busy but they were able to get to me within five days.

When I called for my spring service I asked specifically that they put new insulation on the line running from the air conditioner into the house. The service professional who came out had not been told this and did not complete it. He said he would stop back and do it, but never did.

The service call was $95 and after that they came free of charge until the until was fixed. Freon was $30 about. The valve I haven't paid for yet, but it'll be a hundred maybe.

The thermostat on my HVAC unit went blank, so the A/C would not turn on. Arranging an appointment with CWJ was a bit frustrating. First, they offered to come the same day, but I couldn't be home, so I made an appointment for the next day but they came the same day anyway (when I wasn't there). When they called me back to reschedule, they were not terribly flexible when it came to a time; they kept saying, "no, that's no good" but I finally got an another appt. for a week later. The technician showed up on time, was very professional, and diagnosed and fixed the problem in one hour (my old thermostat was wired incorrectly, so it burnt out). He said that I could buy a new thermostat myself, and that they would come back later to install it free of charge, or he could get one from his truck. I chose the latter option, b/c I just wanted to get it over and done with, and I suspected that I might have to wait another week for them to return. Overall, I was pleased, but not enough to give them an "A".

Went fine; tech went immediately to work, and explained what he had done when he was finished.

We were more then pleased. Dale, David, Enrique and the others at CWJ have been wonderful to work with. They are extremely professional and attentive. The job was completed very quickly and without inconvenience. We found that they do not try to oversell equipment and services and propose only what they believe will be the best value and will provide the best performance and durability. Their price was more then fair. We have continued to work with CWJ and have continued to be very pleased with their service. We highly recommend this Company.

The representative was prompt, professional and knowledgeable. He fixed both units in under an hour and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended!

Went great! We were previously doing business with another company but they took over a week to get an estimate to us. So, I went on Angie's List and found these guys and called them that day. Someone came by my home to take a look at the system the same day for free!. The person I spoke to was honest and upfront with me about the pros and cons of replacing the coil verse replacing the HVAC and did not pressure me towards a more expensive route. By the end of the day they called back with an estimate and were able to come fix my HVAC two days later! The technicians arrived on time, were polite and there was no mess after they left.

I called in the morning and was put on a waiting list for later in the week, since they had a lot of requests; but a couple hours later I received a friendly phone call asking me if I was available later in the day. I requested a general servicing of my A/C, but also had concerns relating to the unit itself (capacity for my sq. footage, physical stabilization of unit, etc.) Brad arrived shortly after the phone call and was extremely helpful and friendly, and completely informed and prepared to deal with my concerns. He was finished after an hour, and thoroughly addressed all of my concerns. I would definitely call CWJ again.

One of the few service companies of ANY kind I've ever dealt with which told me something would happen on a certain date at a certain time and came through every time: for example, they kept appointments as scheduled and called before they came so I could leave my office and meet them. The technicians were on time, knowledgeable, efficient, and personable.

We'd recently moved into the house. During the pre-purchase home inspection, my wife and I had been alerted that the unit might have a year's worth of useful life left. If the CWJ technician had told me that I needed a new unit, I wouldn't have doubted him. Instead, he worked non-stop for two hours and revived the unit.

Based on the reviews in the List, I contacted CWJ for my basic maintenance. When they had trouble finding the house, they called. Enrique arrived in uniform, with a company truck, went right to work, was clean, thorough and helpful in showing me the location of shutoffs. Fixed a problem with the insulation that had been causing a lot of noise in the system.

Dale came by and quoted a very reasonable price compared to the $550 quoted by a company that was referred by our insurance. His guys came and did the work very efficiently and to a high standard. I'm very pleased.

CWJ was able to schedule a service visit for the day after I called. Their technician arrived right on time and was very knowledgeable about all of the many questions I asked. He cleaned the HVAC and checked it for any problems- and in fact found the likely answer for an odd issue that has been plaguing us for three years. He also checked the accuracy of the thermostat. I was very happy with the entire visit!

They did a great job for a very fair rate. They arrived on time, worked efficiently and thoroughly and our units are working perfectly now. They were glad to answer all my questions and did not seem to be out to make me spend more money, much appreciated.

Overall, great experience, prompt and polite service, affordable and efficient.

THEIR PRICES AR VERY FAIR. IF I NEED SOMETHING ELSE, LIKE FILTERS, THEY BRING THEM OUT AND FIT THEM FOR ME. THEIR QUALITY OF WORK IS GOOD, TOO. THEY ARE VERY PUNCTUAL AND THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL.

I PERSONALLY KNOW THE OWNER AND FEEL HE WOULD GIVE ME A GOOD DEAL AND STAND BEHIND HIS WORK. THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS WONDERFUL. I APPRECIATED THAT AFTER THEY TOOK THE OLD UNIT OUT, THEY GOT RID OF IT FOR ME.
