Reasonably prompt. After 9 hours I called them, they arrived, and fixed it.

They were willing to discuss options and advise on whether to repair or replace; they scheduled within a few days; and they completed job as promised - on time and neat. I would definitely hire again.

I've been using them for 20 years so they're good. Their price is fine. I'm really pleased with their quality. Their responsiveness is very good. I've had emergency services I've had to have them too and they're great. There's no problems with punctuality. They're right up tops with professionalism.

The work went very well. CWJ was very professional and knowledgeable. Less than 1 day turnaround to replace unit.

Had attic air handler drain clog and the overflow pan sensor fail resulting in water damage on upstairs ceiling and and carpet. Discovered the mess around 11:45 pm pm Friday night and luckily caught pretty early as temps in mid 90s so was really pumping water out. Of course appended at worst time as had company coming in Sat and daughter was sick. First thing in AM called several places that stated were open Saturdays and left messages. No return call. Decided to try CWJ as had used them in couple years ago and number still on my phone. Would have tried them first but website said closed on Sat. I called and left msg on VM hoping to sch for Monday. Received return call within hour or two from Brad with CWJ. He assessed level of "emergency" as he did not want us to be sweating out with such high heat. He informed me of the weekend service rate as it was double the weekday rate and explained how I could possibly unclog the drain to allow us to use the air conditioning if wanted to wait until Monday because of higher weekend rate. In this day and age, I rarely experience a repair service provider willing to offer this type of assistance. Brad worked with me to get to house same day (sat). He walked me through what he was seeing and doing and did not seem at all irritated that I was watching him work and asking questions ( as some folks do). He quickly identified the problems, completed the repairs, and tested the system. I greatly appreciated Brad's promptness, patience and willingness to answers questions. I am happy to say that I now have a HVAC company I can and plan to use as my go to. CWJ now as another loyal customer. Thank you.

Upstairs A/C unit failed sometime on Thursday. Discovered around 8 pm, and after checking Angie's List, called CWJ around 9 pm Thursday evening. We had never used them before. Left message on machine asking for call back early Friday morning. Phone rang just after 7 am Friday. Promised to have someone over by mid-morning. They called back shortly and said they'd have someone over first thing - which was around 8 am. Two technicians showed up promptly and were very courteous. Checked everything and found we needed a capacitor for upstairs unit motor. They had it on the truck and it was fixed in no time. We were very pleased a) with the promptness of the response; and b) with the straightforward explanation and repair. We had used ARS for over 25 years prior to this because they installed original equipment when we built our house; but we were never pleased with their service, response, or costs. This time I took a chance on someone new, and we now plan to keep CWJ in mind for all future work. Thanks so much!

We have used the same company for years and years and they are great. We have a preventive maintenance agreement with them and have for over 20 years. We pay an upfront flat amount for the year and get two service calls as part of that -- spring and fall before each the heating and cooling season. They tune up things and I do get 10 percent off on any service if anything needs to be serviced. They are great people; I love them. They call when they are going to be in my neighborhood so they can come over and do my pre-season PM. They work it in when it is convenient or maybe they start a list, I don't know. I think their pricing is good. We've got that relationship, so part of it is that they agree that they are responsive.

Air conditioning failed over a hot summer weekend. This unit serves a floor of a house that stores hundreds if not thousands of books that will mold if left to the heat and humidity. I called CWJ on a Sunday. Monday morning before 9AM they called me and said that a technician was on the way to the house. Within five minutes Enrique was in the driveway. He was thorough, professional, friendly and capable. Within thirty minutes he had diagnosed the problem, admittedly a common problem with outdoor units. He checked a few other routine items, replaced a couple of filters, and was done in less than an hour. I do not yet know the cost of the service call and work. I am sure it will not be insignificant -- but I cannot imagine how any HVAC company could provide more responsive, capable service. First rate.

Over the years I have bought A/C systems from CWJ in 2 different houses. I trust them. I think they are fair in their prices, and they are easy to work with. I would definitely use them again.

Have not dealt with this provider before but highly recommended by a friend as well as angle's list. My heat pump just broke and needs to be replaced - in the middle of a heat wave, of course. Two calls to CWJ were not returned. On the 3rd call, on 6/18/15, Dave said he could come that day at 2PM. He did not show up nor did he call. Needless to say I will chose another provider.

Our heat went out overnight on our top floor. We called first thing the next morning, and CWJ squeezed us in immediately, which was great since we have a small child. They arrived promptly, were courteous and professional, and price was extremely reasonable. We are extremely appreciative of their help on this cold winter day!

We usually pay them in the Spring time for a Spring and a Fall tune up as well as 10% off any service throughout the year. They are prompt and are very good at communicating with you. They are very nice people and are honest.

Craig came to the house immediately after I called CWJ. He was polite, friendly, and professional. He spent about an hour working on the furnace and had it up and running after replacing a flame sensor. He explained what had gone wrong in terms that a non-tech could understand. I couldn't be more pleased with Craig and CWJ. And I'm amazed how fast the furnace was back in action - about 2 hours after the phone call I made.

We had CWJ replace and upgrade HVAC ducts after another subcontractor botched the job with endless items that didn't meet current building code. CWJ did an inspection of the work and provided an estimate the following day. CWJ performed the work shortly after we accepted the bid and did a fantastic job. The Durham building inspector was impressed with the quality of the work. If you want friendly,professional HVAC work done give CWJ. I also bought my current heating / air conditioning system from CWJ and that installation and servicing has been first rate.

The CWJ team were amazingly responsive and professional. They clearly listened to what I wanted in the new system, and put together a recommendation that matched my needs. They managed to install the system while I was away (with appropriate arrangements for house access) , left me the instruction book in clear view, and called the afternoon of my scheduled return to be sure I was comfortable with everything.

Two different air conditioning systems were not performing properly. One was cooling insufficiently and not dehumidifying, causing mold to develop in the house. Another was not clearing condensation. I called CWJ, who had installed the system ten years ago. They were unable to send a technician for a week, but on the scheduled day, as promised, at eight in the morning, Enrique from CWJ was at the door. He determined that water leaking from one unit was due to a clogged condensation line, which he cleared. Together we located the air returns for both systems and he showed me where the filters were located within the airconditioning system. He cleaned and reinstalled a reusable filter and showed me where to install a clean filter in the other unit. The unit that was failing to cool he determined was leaking refrigerant. After advising me that he could install additional refrigerant but that it would be expensive and he could not promise how long it would remain in the unit, I asked him to recharge the system with the understanding that it might not be a permanent solution and might be an expensive short term solution. He worked cheerfully in the rain and was patient and thorough in explaining the system to me and helping me determine the airflow and path. We paid approximately two hundred dollars for a service call and two hours of work and another two hundred for the refrigerant. Nothing Enrique did was remarkable; much of what he did was in the way of educating me about a system I had inherited and with which I was not familiar. Throughout, he was forthright, helpful, and cheerful and was a pleasure to have in the house. He showed up on time, worked steadily in inclement weather, and I would ask for him again should I need further attention to the system. I hope that CWJ understands how well Enrique represents the company.

I think their maintenance prices are a bit on the high side.

I have contracted with CWJ for over 25 years. They always send trained and responsible techs to do the work.....always helpful and polite. I will continue to contract with them,

I was updated with pictures since the work was done in my home in another state. The inspectors have checked it out and everything was fine.

Arrived on time and were very friendly, professional, & courteous. Performed the checks and everything checked ok. Will call back in a few months to get my AC checked for the summer.

Very professional. Good communication and attention to detail. Easy to work with. I've also hired them for maintenance on my old system and they are punctual and explained the options - never pressure to buy a new system even though they had reason to sell us one.

I scheduled an estimate for Wed, Nov 14, 2012 via a phone call. Wednesday came and went without anyone showing up or calling. I followed up with an email to see if I could get an estimate on Friday (as it was too late in the evening for a phone call)... no response on that one either. My issue with the HVAC was too pressing to waste more time trying to get an estimate. I've only rated as a "C" due to the fact that I did not follow up via phone; however, my impression is... if you list an email address as a valid contact point... you should respond with the same priority as a phone call. Either way, an estimate was scheduled initially via phone and no one arrived.
