They called to come early and did a very thorough job on the heating service. Most others basically look at the unit to confirm that it is a heating unit, maybe hose it off and leave. CWJ did a complete inspection cleaning parts where needed and were very professional, honest and reasonably priced-no surprises. When you call them a knowledgeable Service Manager (assuming he's manager) answers questions and schedules. Highly recommend

After a horrible experience with ARS with a partial repair that did not fix my system and an invoice for over 400.00 for 50.00 worth of parts by ARS, I was referred by my real estate broker to try CWJ heating and Cooling. I called David Radford at CWJ and he met me at our previous home that was on the market as there was no AC. The system I had was old and needed to be replaced. You cannot use the old coolant anymore and the system needed to be upgraded anyway. David emailed me a quote that afternoon which was very fair and we gave the OK to start the work. They had the system finished in about 3 days and it worked great. This is not something one want to happen when you are maintaining two homes while one is for sale, but it would be a selling feature for the home while on the market. A few months later the AC system and plumbing was vandalized to get copper. They ruined our new system. Most of the system had to be replaced again (which we really could not easily afford) and CWJ worked with us to try to make the bad situation more affordable. We still had a large outlay again, but it may have been twice as much if we had been working with anyone else buy CWJ. I have operated a multi-store operation for 30 years and always emphasized the importance of honesty and genuine customer care. CWJ met and dramatically exceeded our expectations. I recommend them very highly.

We have used CWJ for HVAC service work on three different occasions over the past few years. We have been fully satisfied with their work each time. The most recent work occurred on a Monday following a weekend of triple-digit heat. Our air-conditioner was failing to bring the house to a comfortable temperature. When I called CWJ, Rod said that due to the high demand of service requests, he could not guarantee when they could get to us. However, later that afternoon, Rod called back to say that a serviceman was on his way. Enrique, who had performed the previous service work, was once again very professional, immediately identified the problem with the unit & provided an estimate for the repair before performing the necessary work. Enrique patiently provided answers to all of my questions. He accurately predicted when our home would finally cool down now that the air-conditioner was functioning properly.

They are honest and prompt and wonderful. I recommend them to people.

Scheduling of the appointment was easy and the technician (Enrique) was very professional and polite. I will definitely call on them again.

They came out right away on a Sunday, which is one of their regular non-working days, and did a great job. They were very efficient. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

Called at 9:30am to see if we could get someone to take a look at our a/c as it seemed to have pretty much stopped working. They were able to send a technician within 3 hours, and the technician was able to address the problems and get the cool air flowing again while he was here. He had a replacement capacitor in his truck, so we didn't have to schedule a separate visit. The person on the phone was pleasant and professional, and told me he'd try to squeeze me in for a same day visit. He called back to say when the technician was on his way. The technician was very pleasant, explained what he was doing and what he did to fix the problem, and asked if I had any questions. I had a great experience and wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

CWJ did a superb job from start to finish - everything very neat, everything done on time and exactly as they said they would do it. Their service people are so nice and helpful and explain everything so patiently! And they always come right away when you call with a problem. I have used them for more than 20 years, in both of our houses, and they are great. In both of our houses, what they recommended was exactly what we needed, and they made our houses so comfortable.

The showed me the problems with the old system. I stopped by the main office to pay them and the owner himself came out to make sure that the work was satisfactory. I was impressed with that.

It went well. Only three small glitches. 1) I had a seven-day progammable thermostat b/4 the installation. They replaced it to follow furnace manufacturer recommendations, but replaced it with a 5-2 programmable (meaning you can have one set of settings for weekdays and one for weekends). Since my schedule varies from day to day and since I had invested in a 7-day programmable I insisted on having them replace the 5-2 with a 7-day. They went back to the hardware store, got another thermostat and installed it. But, it was also not 7-day, though they originally thought it was. Thank goodness I checked before they were done with the furnace installation. They had to replace the thermostat again and got it right the 3rd time. 2) The installation had to be done over two days instead of the one-day installation I had anticipated. But, they never promised me that it would take just one day. They just didn't say anything about a possible second day. 3) The installer turned the furnace unit on and nothing happened. At first the installer insisted that it was something I had done wrong in setting the thermostat. Eventually he gave in and went back into the crawlspace and found the "reset" button he needed to push to activate the unit. I am hoping that will not be necessary if there is a power outage, since I do not relish going into that crawlspace and nobody showed me how to reset the unit.

We have been very pleased with their service. They are prompt. If they say they are going to be here between 1 and 3, then they are usually here closer to 1. They call before they get here to say that they will be there within 30 minutes and then they arrive within that time frame. When we had an issue with our furnace which is under warranty, we called them regarding the issue and they came right out to work on the issue, replaced whatever part was in question, no questions asked. They are awesome. I love them and I have no complaints whatsoever. In contrast, we had a really bad experience with another heating and air-conditioning company, so I can say that CWJ is amazing compared to the other company. I don't really know what other people charge, but I think the price we pay for the yearly heating and air contract is reasonable. Besides that, I like them. They have been good to us. Last year we forgot to have them look at our air-conditioning. When it was warm in October and November, looking at our air-conditioning and our heat would have meant that it would be outside the boundary of the agreement. They are only supposed to look at the heating and then the air-conditioning as part of the agreement. They went ahead and looked at both systems and even replaced an air-conditioning part for us for $185.00 and they will still honor the air-conditioning part of the agreement when they come out in the spring. They went above and beyond.

We've always had wonderful service from them. I'd highly recommend them to anybody. If there's a small problem, they will find it. No problem ever becomes big. They always get here before I have to go to work.

No issue finding the probelm but thre repait took two tries.

Outside condensing unit was malfunctioning. Initial service call on Tuesday identified a bad breaker on the outside of the house. The technician cleaned and inspected the bad system and the other functioning system. He offered to fix the bad breaker box and install a disconnect switch, but I told him I would do it myself. Despite this fix, the unit kept turning off after short periods of time. By Wednesday night we realized the 17 year old unit was a goner! CWJ (the owner and a technician) came back out Thursday afternoon to confirm the issue and assess our replacement needs and was able to install a new outside condensing unit by 10AM Friday. With high's in the upper 90's forecast for the weekend (and a 7-month old baby at the house) this was a relief! Install went smoothly and looks good (not to mention the unit works well) they disposed of the old unit and cleaned up after themselves.

First visit: did not bring a ladder. Was supposed to call once a vent was located - did not. Second visit: no show, no call.

They were really friendly. It took them a little while to get back to me after they came and looked at it initially. When the job did get done, they did really good work. He went above and beyond what I expected. We didn't get the fireplace from them, but I gave him the information on it and he figured out where it needed to be.

We realized our upstairs heating unit was blowing cold air the day my wife went into labor over the weekend with our first child. Called CWJ on Monday morning, and by early afternoon I was able to meet them at the house. The technician quickly and efficiently addressed, discovered, and fixed the thermocouple issue. Payment was quick and easy. No bologna with CWJ. I'll be calling them in the summer if/when the A/C gives me trouble.

The technician was on-time, very professional and explained in detail everything he was doing. He thoroughly inspected the whole A/C system, replaced the damaged part and then cleaned both units thoroughly.

My A/C unit was on the fritz, and I was unable to diagnose and fix the issue myself. I called and was able to schedule an appointment easily for the next day. The tech was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I ask a lot of questions to the point of being a pest, but he didn't mind at all and was able to answer all of them. My evaporator coil was frozen solid, and while waiting for it to defrost he cleaned the compressor and inspected the drainage line. I was mentally prepared to pay $1k for a new evaporator coil, but he had suggestions for how I could extend the lifetime of the current unit for several years. I'm very satisfied overall and will definitely call them back in the future for further work.

We've used CWJ for three years, and they've done consistently high quality work. The technician performs a thorough inspection and adds freon as needed to one of the AC units. He is punctual, professional, and conscientious. The owner and office personnel are responsive and helpful. CWJ is better than three other HVAC contractors we've used over the past 15 years. They are a great value -- delivering more for less price. CWJ is also honest. Other HVAC firms have said we needed to replace our system. Thanks to CWJ, we've gotten 3 more years out of it!

It went excellent. I liked them because they were very reasonable, they got to job done as quickly as possible under the circumstances. They were very busy but they were able to get to me within five days.

When I called for my spring service I asked specifically that they put new insulation on the line running from the air conditioner into the house. The service professional who came out had not been told this and did not complete it. He said he would stop back and do it, but never did.

The service call was $95 and after that they came free of charge until the until was fixed. Freon was $30 about. The valve I haven't paid for yet, but it'll be a hundred maybe.

The thermostat on my HVAC unit went blank, so the A/C would not turn on. Arranging an appointment with CWJ was a bit frustrating. First, they offered to come the same day, but I couldn't be home, so I made an appointment for the next day but they came the same day anyway (when I wasn't there). When they called me back to reschedule, they were not terribly flexible when it came to a time; they kept saying, "no, that's no good" but I finally got an another appt. for a week later. The technician showed up on time, was very professional, and diagnosed and fixed the problem in one hour (my old thermostat was wired incorrectly, so it burnt out). He said that I could buy a new thermostat myself, and that they would come back later to install it free of charge, or he could get one from his truck. I chose the latter option, b/c I just wanted to get it over and done with, and I suspected that I might have to wait another week for them to return. Overall, I was pleased, but not enough to give them an "A".

Went fine; tech went immediately to work, and explained what he had done when he was finished.
