Description of Work: They replaced the air circulating blower in record time and at a lower price than I was quoted by another dealer. All the people I was in contact with were knowledge and I always felt that they were being totally honest with me. Kudos to Ed and David.

+ -1 moreOverall, it was a great experience! There are very few companies out there that will service oil furnaces, and Carolina Air does a fantastic job!
Description of Work: Carolina Air serviced and fixed my oil furnace; it had stopped turning on right in a cold spell. I originally had scheduled a "tune up" and it was going to be a week later, but when I explained what was going on they scheduled an appointment the next day. The technician was punctual and friendly, explained to me what the issue was, and was able to fix it quickly. When I scheduled the service call, I had been told that they would not be able to do the tune up and that would be a separate appointment, but the technician was able to go ahead and complete the tune up as well. As with most HVAC companies, Carolina Air offers a package deal for heating and air tune ups that give you priority when scheduling or when needing a service call, and they included the service I received that day in my new contract.

+ -1 moreMy air conditioner stopped working during the 100 degree heat wave. I was put on the list and squeezed in very quickly. I was given an estimate of $191 and authorized the repair. It was done very quickly. Ants had eaten through the contact, it was replaced with an enclosed contact. Apparently this is fairly common, a friend in VA had the same thing happen a few years ago. What was not explained, and perhaps this was supposed to happen when I first called for an appointment, was the $99 diagnostic charge so the quoted $191 ended up costing $290. However, I would still use this company again because of their fast and efficient service.
Description of Work: Replaced burnt air conditioner contact with new, checked Freon, etc.

+ -1 moreThe above cost is per year for the service checks. The people that come out seem to be knowledgeable and are very courteous. I have not had any problems with my furnace or air conditioning since. One time I did have mildew but they destroyed it. I'm very happy with them.
Description of Work: Our air conditioner had died in 90 degrees weather. They came out and looked at it. They showed me what the problem was and explained it. They replaced the furnace and put in a new air conditioning. They service the AC and heating twice a year.

+ -1 moreI have them do routine maintenance through out the year however my pump went out during the winter. When I called them, they were able to come and have it fixed with in twenty four hours. I was very happy about that. I think that their prices are really reasonable. They are always on time if not early.
Description of Work: The heat pump in my heating unit went out so I had them replace it for me.
