The consultant came out to my townhouse and measured the windows, helped me with picking out the blinds and the color. Because I have two kittens, I picked the cordless blinds. She informed me a small piece of wood was missing from one of the double windows and that they would replace it to ensure the blinds would be even. She arrived on time and was very professional. The technician installed the blinds, removed the old blinds. He first completely installed the blinds in one window to ensure that the blinds where the ones I wanted. Then he installed the other blinds. He showed me how to raise the blinds and clean them. He installed blinds at 9 windows. The technician was prompt, very professional and made sure he cleaned up any debris. There is a heavy piece of furniture in front of a window that I could not move, he easily took care of it.

Shortly after moving to the Raleigh area in 2009, I purchased cell shades for all of the windows in my house from Budget Blinds. The owner of the original franchise store where I made my purchase closed his shop later that year, and the information from my order was transferred to the Triangle Budget Blinds store on NC 55. At the time of my purchase, Budget Blinds offered a 5 year replacement warranty on their shades. I purchased 20 shades in my original order and over the past year I found it necessary to replace some of them under the warranty. I was concerned about how my warranty would be honored since the original seller was no longer in business, but I have been very pleased with the assistance I have received from Triangle Budget Blinds. Even though this sale did not originate from their store, they replaced the shades I needed. Due to the changes in colors, textures and materials over the last four years, they even recommended that I replace any adjoining shades, just to make sure everything still matched. All were replaced at no cost to me. I call that exceptional service. It?s heartwarming to see that there are still some ethical businesses left in this world that keep their word and do the right thing, without making their customers fight to get the rights promised by their warranty. I am pleased to give Triangle Budget Blinds my highest possible rating, as well as a Page of Happiness nomination.

My experience with Budget Blinds was very positive; very good. It was pretty much flawless from start to finish. It was exactly what we expected. They're very responsive and very professional. They know their business and I would hire them again.

There is probably more expensive blinds out there, but for the price, you can beat what Budget Blinds offer.

She arrived a little late and although I had explained what I wanted on the phone did not seem prepared to show me those items initially. She did show me a variety of samples and took some measurements. Then left me an estimate. I actually decided to go with a different company. When i called her to tell her this, she showed obvious annoyance and questioned me about my decision, what I was getting etc. - which was an item she had not shown. She then angrily told me that she had the same thing, but as I told her she did not show it to me and the other company had! It was not a pleasant conversation! I would not recommend this company, if their emplyees treat the customers this way!

We're delighted with our shutters and blinds from Budget Blinds. Our entire experience with this firm was highly satisfactory. The designer's expertise was extremely helpful. Tristi provided excellent ideas, tips, and options. We got exactly what we wanted in terms of design style, quality, natural light, and privacy. The office staff was very pleasant and professional with scheduling and updates. The installation team was courteous, fast, neat, and unobtrusive. It was great working with Budget Blinds.

They were great. From our first visit to their showroom to the final installation everything went very smooth. They even gave us up slightly better blinds in two bedrooms at no extra cost. WE found it very helpful to visit their showroom before they came to the house so we could get an idea of what we might want, some other companies we contacted did not have showrooms.

I would highly recommend Budget Blinds. Shawn was on time for our appointment, and did very efficient and professional work. The blinds look beautiful, and Shawn was a pleasure to work with. The designer rep. was punctual, polite and respectful of my ideas. She shared several sample books and made a few suggestions then allowed me to identify exactly what i wanted. She took the necessary measurements of two windows in our den and two in our dining room. I placed my order and she called me to set up an installation appointment when the blinds arrived in their store. The installer was equally as professional; timely, friendly and efficient!

Budget Blinds came and measured for plantation blinds for 12 windows. Their representative arrived on time to measure and show me the types of blinds available. I already knew what I wanted as they had installed blinds in a previous house. The installer came early having called beforehand. He removed the old vinyl blinds and other nails. etc. left behind by other window treatments. The installation was professional and speedy.

The sales representative, Andrew Briley, came to my home on time and fully prepared. He, discussed my needs and showed me possible treatments and materials. After deciding what I wanted, I selected colors and patterns and placed my order. It was scheduled for completion while we were on vacation, so I asked for installation after our return. When we got back I called to schedule installation. The appointment was made for the day and time I asked. The installer, Dave, arrived on time, installed the blinds, took down a rod that I did not want, and even filled in the screw holes from the one he removed. He also removed the old blinds and curtain. I have seldom had such good service. Everyone I talked to was helpful, friendly, and above all, very professional. Kudos to Budget Blinds. I recommend them enthusiastically to anyone who needs new window treatments.

Heather from Budget Blinds came to our new home and was very punctual. She quickly measured the windows in our home, asked us what sort of window treatments we would like. She provided a number of suggestions and explained the pros and cons of different styles. She provided a quote in a couple of days.

I looked on Angie's List for recommendations and got estimates from Carolina Blind Crafters, Budget Blinds and Nettle Creek. The original Carolina Blind Crafters price was $1911.26; Budget Blinds $1879.87; and Nettle Creek $2913.00. All 3 ladies that came to do estimates were competent and helpful, and got back to me pretty quickly (except Nettle Creek, which was a bit slower to follow up). One recommendation- the ladies' big sample cases made little scratches in my brand new dining room table, so I'd recommend putting down a table cloth before spreading out the cases. Nettle Creek sells Hunter Douglas and their samples were probably the nicest, but way more than we wanted to spend. I felt the samples from CBC were a bit nicer than the Budget Blinds samples, though I can't say anything specific to pinpoint why I liked the CBC products better.Though the initial Budget Blinds price was a bit less than CBC, the CBC estimate was including options (like top down/bottom up) that Budget Blinds wasn't always including. In addition, after I got the 3 estimates I asked CBC if they would honor the 5% off Angie's List coupon, which they said they would. So, we ended up paying less and getting more features with CBC. To be fair, the estimator from Budget Blinds had told me that she would match prices if other estimates came in lower, but since I liked CBC's products better I didn't try to pursue that.In the future, I would get estimates from Budget Blinds again, though CBC would probably remain my first choice.

I scheduled them pretty quickly. The estimator was very professional. The work was done ahead of time because the shutters came back sooner than they had expected. They worked on 10 windows in my house and it was done in about 6 hours. The guys who came in were incredible. I thought it was going to be horribly messy, but they were very fast. They cleaned up quickly and thoroughly. The shutters are gorgeous.

My husband & I are walking through our house just admiring our new faux wood blinds that Budget Blinds just installed for us today. I'm very particular on service/quality and they surpassed all of my expectations. Dan the owner came and did the quote and helped us to determine the right product for our home. He told us it would be 2-3 weeks and they called us less than 1.5 weeks and were ready for installation. I love it when a vendor under promises and over delivers. We would highly recommend them and would use them again. In fact we may have them do some pull down shades for our enclosed patio. p.s Dave who did the installation is a real pro.

The job went beautifully. The consultant, Tristi, arrived with lots of samples (stashed in her van and brought out as needed) and lots of great ideas that fit my husband's and my personal preferences. Tristi spent time with us coming up with ideas that worked perfectly for each room. For example, for our son's room, we wanted "black-out" shades, and Tristi identified a "tri" shade that offers "black-out," open, or sheer screen for filtered light. This was the perfect choice -- it is beautiful and functional. The installation, a few weeks later, went perfectly. My husband and I are very pleased with the window treatments and with the entire experience. Everyone with whom we had contact was very competent and professional. If you are looking for great window treatments and a great experience, not to mention a reasonable price, I highly recommend contacting Budget Blinds and also arranging to meet with Tristi to select the window treatments.

Budget Blinds did good work and we would use them again. There was an error in the order, which they corrected. The blinds that came in for the first bedroom were plastic and not wood. I noticed it - the installation person did not tell me (they do look a lot alike so he might not have noticed). He went ahead and installed the plastic blinds and we used those until the wooden ones came in. Fortunately the delay didn't matter to us, and we ended up with the right blinds in the right windows. The salesperson, Paula, helped us figure out what type of shade we needed to cover the large glass tile window in the master bath, which concentrates the sun during parts of the year, overheating the room.

Kurt measured my windows, which were several different sizes, and ordered correctly. They were installed in just a few hours on the scheduled day. I am very pleased with the blinds, and the service.
