BUDGET BLINDS & INSPIRED DRAPES

I will never recommend nor use Budget Blinds again. When your salesperson came and measured, I thought I was paying for the entire job, yet he had not included three windows that we had specified and that he had already measured. This oversight was not noticed until the workers came to install and I questioned why these windows were not included. The only reply was that it would be nearly another $800 (after a discount) to have them done. When I swiped my card initially, I thought it was for ALL measured windows. So, in essence the job was more expensive than I had imagined. Certainly not "budget" at all. I also was not impressed with the worker's installation, as I had to go back and point out a few things that needed to be fixed - scratches, holes drilled in wrong areas, smudges of dirt, etc. Not to mention a cracked window. While what was installed are fine, I was able to install on my own the three missed windows and they came out nicer and better.

Rep was great. Made many good recommendations that we followed. The time between order and installation was less than a month. The installers were prompt, professional and friendly. They even caulked a window. We used this company with our first home with the same first rate service. Highly recommend.

Went well but there was a month waiting for custom order.

It went OK. Only problem was that Trish is not listen to what I really wanted. I wanted that the verticals hung below the window sills. She had them come to the end of the window sills. As a result, they get caught on the sills when opening or closing them. They are not at the length I wanted.

Everything from start to finish was seamless.

This was time 3 for blinds. It went well.

Tried to contact for an estimate several times - rude intake and could not get to the owners nor get an appointment...do not recommend using this franchisee; avoid!

Eric installed our blinds efficiently and well. I had no problem with any of them. And, they are gorgeous. I got different blinds throughout the home from woven wood to roller ones. They are gorgeous and I would not work with another company after working with Budget Blinds.

Excellent! Tristi Grant was the designer we worked with, she was so patient with me! Tristi would give me time to form my own opinion on options, but also made wonderful suggestions. It took a long time to get the custom window treatments in, but she had warned me of that so I was prepared, but the wait was worth it! The price was a little higher than I had originally planned, but Tristi was upfront with me about the cost of the fabric we chose, and ultimately the quality and professional installation was well worth it.

Had some issues with measurements on some of the blinds but the problem was corrected to our satisfaction.

Our estimate are much lower than what we asked for, which is great! They beat estimates from three other companies and they are working with us still on the project, and they are really great to work with. They went above and beyond. The material was out of stock and discontinued twice. They hand delivered it twice, the third sample they overnight it twice. The very weird case we have here is that we are very low budget and they're very helpful, very above and beyond. They met our cost very quickly. My interaction with them was very good.

We had a problem with the original blinds installed in our home. A consultant for Budget Blinds came to our home, took measurements and gave us an estimate along with some suggestions. She was here at the appointed time, was super nice, and very helpful. We had purchased Budget Blinds previously in another state and she contacted that office and got the necessary information so that we could receive a discount for being a prior customer. We were out of town at the time our order arrived and they held them so that they could be installed at our convenience. The installer was prompt, very professional, and completed the installation quickly. We are very satisfied with our new blinds and would highly recommend Budget Blinds of Western Triangle for both their service and their product.

Wonderful experience with Budget Blinds from start to finish. The team did an excellent job at assisting in determining the best selection for our windows and completing the installation. The schedule was as promised, installation team was on time, professional and completed the job faster than anticipated. We have used them previously and were pleased glad to see they are continuing to stay at the top of the game.

Eric and JC called a couple hours early, to see if they could come early. I was available so I said yes. They were professional, courteous respectful and friendly. They were finished quickly and let me do a walk around to see how awesome the new blinds looked. I am very happy with the install they did (quality work) and very happy with the quality of the blinds even if they were a bit pricey. I'm very happy with the company and the quality of the work as well. I highly recommend.

The original visit was on time. The sales person was professional and friendly, listened to my needs and suggested a product for my windows. She did all of the measurements that day (10/30) and told me I should expect delivery in time for Christmas. Although the product was in I was not able to get them installed until 12/28 due to my schedule. The installers ran ~30 min behind scheduled time but called to make sure I was aware of that and okay with it. When they arrived they were professional, friendly and efficient. They removed all of the miniblinds and hung the shutters in ~2 hrs. I could not be happier with the product and with the process. I would use them again and would recommend them to others.

I had been in contact with Budget Blinds since early June 2015 after going under contract on a new construction home. The neighborhood we live in has homes very close together with plenty of construction still going on so I was looking to have everything ordered and ready to be installed immediately after our mid-July closing which it why I reached out so early. I had just started a new job and did not have a lot of flexibility with my schedule. I was informed that they did not do weekend appointments but could accommodate the occasional evening appointment. I asked if I would be able to meet them at the showroom with a floor plan of our home with what I was looking for in each window and have them go out and measure during the day at their convenience. After several emails back and forth to request the evening appointment, I did not hear back with the appointment date. When I followed up at the end of June/Early July, I was informed that due to the obvious lack of response to my email and others, the employee I had been dealing with was no longer working there. The consultant was out of the office and they would have their consultant get back to me the following week. I checked in the next week and they said it was best for the consultant to come out to measure the home and the first appointment they had was end of July which was more than 3 weeks away. At that point it would have been almost 2 months since I originally requested a consult. Having worked in customer service for years, I was surprised they wouldn't be more accommodating since someone from their company had caused the delay. At that point, I gave up and decided to go with a different company who was more than happy to have my business.

We were extremely pleased to work with Tristi who came to the house to show us the products. She made excellent suggestions about products, helped us think through the implications of the various options we were considering and helped us make cost-effective choices. Her suggestion to consider Murano blinds for the living room, dining room and den was brilliant - dressy, but less expensive than plantation blinds and much better suited to our windows and decor. In the upstairs rooms, we realized that we did not need expensive blinds and are very pleased with the lightweight, but effective aluminum blinds. We chose honeycomb blinds for the windows to a screened porch - so easy to use and perfect for letting in light while maintaining privacy. Although we also discussed using film for a bathroom and panels on either side of the front door, we ended up doing the window ourselves, which we could do for considerably less money. The installation was done on time. One error was made in the color of the blinds for one of the rooms, but replacement blinds were ordered and they arrived and were installed within a couple of weeks. The installers were courteous and efficient. It's been six months and we are still thrilled with our purchase.

We had a really good experience. They gave us options at different price points. They gave us the option of installing the blinds ourselves to save money. The blinds keeps the cold out and the heat in. They are doing a great job in the basement. The salesperson was very helpful and nice. She was not pushy.

They did a quality job. The person who came out to do the measuring and sizing was really quite pleasant and competent. They gave us options, which we appreciated. They gave us some alternatives. They're first rate.

Very professional and helpful. They have a wide range of options, bring lots of samples, and conduct measurements quickly. All materials are custom fabricated, shipped to their offices in Durham, and installed by one of their in-house installers. I have used Budget Blinds 2x now for two different properties. I like their quality, variety, responsiveness, and punctuality.

The shutters were installed quickly and the cleanup was thorough. I would not hestitate to deal with this company again.

As above pleasant professional people

My toddler broke a wooden blind in our living room. I took in the entire shade hoping they could use it to order a new replacement. The salesperson was very helpful and suggested they could repair it. I dropped it off at 3 pm and it was ready by 5 pm the same day! Amazing. Definitely will use them again.

They were fine. I do not think we had any problem with them. They were good. We would use them again if we are going to do that. The price was probably fair.
